🌿 Woche 16 – Mentha de Croco 🇩🇪
Die beiden Mentha de Croco entwickeln sich weiterhin fantastisch! 💚 Die linke Pflanze hat inzwischen etwa 180 cm, die rechte beeindruckende 193 cm erreicht 🌱. Beide sehen wunderschön aus und wachsen weiterhin extrem säulenförmig nach oben – echte Wolkenkratzer im Garten! 🚀
Leider gab es gestern ein schweres Unwetter mit starken Windböen 🌩️🌬️. Dabei sind beide Pflanzen umgekippt. Durch ihre hohe, schlanke Wuchsform sind sie einfach etwas anfälliger für solche Wetterlagen. Ein schwererer Topf als die 30 Liter hätte hier sicherlich für mehr Standfestigkeit gesorgt.
Zum Glück ist der Schaden überschaubar geblieben. 🙏 Lediglich einige Blätter sind abgebrochen, ansonsten haben beide Pflanzen das Unwetter erstaunlich gut überstanden und wirken weiterhin kerngesund. 💚 Beim Wiederaufstellen konnte ich außerdem sehen, dass die Wurzeln den Topfboden bereits vollständig durchwurzelt haben – ein gutes Zeichen für ein kräftiges Wurzelsystem. 🌱
Morgen gibt es wieder einen frisch angesetzten Komposttee, um das Bodenleben weiter zu fördern und die Pflanzen für die nächste Wachstumsphase optimal zu unterstützen. 🍵 Ich bin gespannt, wann die erste Pflanze die 2-Meter-Marke knackt! 🌿📈
🌿 Week 16 – Mentha de Croco 🇬🇧
Both Mentha de Croco plants continue to perform beautifully! 💚 The left plant has now reached approximately 180 cm, while the right one is an impressive 193 cm tall 🌱. They both look absolutely stunning and keep growing in a very upright, column-like shape—true skyscrapers in the garden! 🚀
Unfortunately, a severe thunderstorm with strong winds hit yesterday 🌩️🌬️, causing both plants to tip over. Their tall, narrow structure makes them naturally more vulnerable to these conditions. A heavier container than the current 30-liter pots would definitely have provided better stability.
Fortunately, the damage was minimal. 🙏 Only a few leaves broke off, and overall both plants came through the storm remarkably well and still look incredibly healthy. 💚 While standing them back up, I also noticed that the roots have already fully colonized the bottom of the pots—a great sign of a strong and healthy root system. 🌱
Tomorrow they’ll receive another freshly brewed compost tea to further support the soil biology and keep them thriving. 🍵 Now it’s only a matter of time before the first plant breaks the 2-meter mark! 🌿

This week has progressed normally but it would appear that BBK a number three is growing some sort of white substance on his leaves on one side of the plant. I am unsure if it is some sort of deficiency, fungus, mildew, bacteria, genetic defect, or user defect. Other than that it would appear that plant is healthy and growing in fact it is taller and bigger than the other two. Helmet head BBK 83 is doing well considering that I thought it wasn't going to make it due to sprouting with the shell fully attached.

—BRIEF—
Hi there, I have tried already done this genetic outdoors, in poor lighting and a general purpose nute from Neudorff, yielded 25g dry, in 3gallon pots same medium.
So this is a good experiment, lets see indoors how she will compare.
—GERMINATION—
My germination process always start by scarifying the seeds, i created a little tool for that. I just a little container with sandpaper walls. Shake gently for about 60 secs+, this allows for the water to penetrate better in the seed shell, once you soak. Then i soak overnight from 12 to 20 hours max.
From there i either plant straight or use the paper towel method to see the tap root before. If you are a bit on the impatient side seen the tap root is advisable so you see some movement before planting. Lol!

Chose this strain because is basic and I have to travel for a month soon, and someone else is going to take care for this time. :)

My mood said to me to plant straight, so scarify > soak 18 hours +- > plant straight.
Seedlings look a bit odd, with a yellow center, let's give her some days in and see what happens next.

With the majority of trichomes now turned milky with some turning Amber, i have decided to begin a 10 day flush using nothing but ph balanced water. Doing a shorter than normal flush as the plants with deficiencies don't have much nutes to use up.

July 23: A great week of warm sunny weather with enough rain to prevent the garden from becoming too dry. Flowers are stacking... a bit leafy but dense. Smell is coming on strong and resin developing complexity of different fragrances. CBD Crack resin smells amazing sweet, like bubblegum and roses. Small plant but amazing fragrance.

Week 4
the right plant shows a deficiency... no idea what that is. the light from the lamp was too strong at first but it shouldn't be... I don't know - I'll keep an eye on it... I think the left plant looks good... growing splendidly - sativa genes are showing... the right plant is growing more bushy

I removed all the leaves that were or would soon be covered with scissors ✂️ - I started in the middle to give the plant more air flow

La verdad el cultivo con plagron se desarrollo muy bien, al ser la primera vez que los usaba he pecado un pelin de echar de menos, pero nada que no haya podido solucionar, los empiezo a entender bien, me da que el próximo cultivo va a ser una bomba, las dejaré hasta el 23 /12 y las ✂️ ❤️

Really Babied these girls and shows the capability of some strains under optimal conditions. Especially throughout flower. Progress is becoming very noticeable. What a great experience making rosin!

Great week all seemed to recover from transplant and lst! With new growth coming in
No more signs of any knats either wich is awesome hopefully thats gone.
Trying to keeping main branches at 10inches so i just lst them as needed
DDS are way more resilient when it comes to training choco i dint have ti adjust much or many

* Early in the week I spent some time removing smaller fan leaves in the middle of the canopy. My goal has been to allow as much direct light to the bud sites as possible.
* I've been working from home a lot more so I have been able to keep the PH on point fairly consistently.
* The buds are really starting to fatten up and I've been noticing more hairs turning orange. Probably still at less than 5% overall orange so a long ways to go still.
Pineapple Express #1 continues to impress. The buds are getting FAT!!! I can't wait to hold them in my arms. The lower sugar leaves have so much sugar on them that I literally panicked thinking I had a mold problem. On closer inspection is just solid crystals. I added a photo (maybe I'm exaggerating just a tad but see for yourself).
Pineapple Express #2 is starting to pick up steam but it is the furthest behind. And I am thinking that might be for a reason if it keeps growing like is has been. I was taking a few leaves off and got to smell the trichomes, and I am telling you this smells like the best fruity pebbles you've ever had. I took 2 clones from her and both are looking great, so this won't be the last of her.
Pineapple Skunk is middle of the road. It is further ahead than the others as the orange hairs are probably right at 5-10%. The buds are starting to get fatter and they are full of trichomes. I haven't been able to isolate a smell from her yet but there is a lot of competition in that tiny box. I think this one will yield a little less than the others but there are still many weeks to go so we'll see.

hey guys,
Into week12 and plants are recovering nicely from the fungus gnat issue from week 10-11.
Its time to add another round of organic amendments, this time in a 70/30 ratio 9f 284 to 444. Increasing the P since we are now clearly into flpwer and the ladies will love it! I also found that the amendments needs a few waterings before it really gets in to the system. Have to plan ahead for that to ensure your plants are not starving for npk.
Added d.e. again and another pack of yellow fly traps up.
As for watering, each plant gets 9L ea every 2-4 days since temps are going crazy jn the gta. Few days at 35+ deg c to 14 lows.

The first plant was only about 9 inches from the top of the pot to her main cola tips, so she yielded like 12 grams 🤣🤣
The second was much more full bud, alot more of it as well. It's a gorgeous plant and it's crazy to see how dark it really is, everyone that sees it is kind of star struck for a second.

It has been raining and raining since whatever... 2 weeks....checked the trichomes nice milky white.
Based on the fact the the weather won't be better and also the temperature is lower day by the now usually 6 Celsius degrees in the evening and 13-16 during the day or less, I decided to harvest next week.
I was thinking to let her out 3 more weeks just to have more amber trichomes but she is OK, ready but this weather is not ...
She is sativa dominant as I saw in the breeder's description so totally cool.
So she ain't gonna be maturing that much she reached the point.... especially because no sun....
... but compare to that she has som nice colas so I am excited let's see soo guys. Thanks all of you checking this progress out.
Beautiful lady, large LST made her really nice literally she looks like more plant but yes ONLY ONE PLANT IN THE PICTURE AND THE GARDEN :)

8/10 Week 4 and she is ... well better
Gave a one time of Recharge and Fish Shit she likes that stuff.
Raised her light another inch see if it helps.
Nuets as is
PM feeding gave 1ml Kangaroots just to see if we can get her going

We have decided to let her grow naturally, topping now would stress right as we flip, not a great idea so she is what she is as we do not want to stress this girl any further.

Week 9 Flowering
There isn’t really much to say.
The buds are visibly getting thicker and are already starting to smell. 🤩 It’s really turned into a lush bush that I can barely hide behind my balcony railing.🥦 With the current weather, the Gelato needs 5 liters of water every day. 🌊
Today I gave it another dose of fertilizer.🍅🌱
Some leaves are turning yellow... but to be honest, I’m not worried about it yet.

Everything going nicely so far not much stretch after the first week and bud sites popping up everywhere.
Day 66 - they were really bushy so decided to give them a lil hair cut, cutting away all the big fan leaves leaving all the bud sites.
Day 68 - I fed them until run of today as going on holiday next week and have a pal sorting them out from Monday
So far so good :)
Will wait till end of the 3rd week and give them a little defoliation to improve air flow and light spread untill then there fed either everyday or every other day depending on when they need it.
