I didn’t fim i just topped her at het 4th node and i also did some lst she is looking quite good i might haved f ed up i broke 3 branches while doing lst but she is growing a main stem +2 side branches aswel so top didn’t work on one

A big hello to all the cannabis growing gardeners...and all the other visitors that came across my grow journal. Just on harvest day I was summoned on a long quest...around 700 km. will be away for three days. I will update this diary as fast as i"m back. For now just the photos as no time for anything. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now cannabis smell is overpowering in my grow room I can finally write something about Spider Farmers 6-Inch Inline Fan with Smart Controller and Carbon Filter :) As my grow room gets really stinky at times i always invest in a top shelf carbon filter almost twice the size of the one provided by Spider Farmer, to my shock Spider Farmer carbon filter absorbs the smells wonderfully well. No smell leaks and that just when the fan is running at 5 out of 10 levels of output. The smart controller is something completely new to me, and had a lot of fun experimenting with it during the veg and early flower, when the smell began i needed it to run full time at level 4 or 5 to rid the fragnance. All in all the whole combo is a great deal. If you are not as keen on technology the set without the controller is awesome on it's own. But to have some extra options open, the controller at the device throws at you a ton of settings you can use to optemiase you grow enviornment. Flower Week 6 Day 42 to 48 - 4/29 to 5/5 They both look very healthy this week. The calyx are swelling with maturing hairs, the pistols are orange, the trichomes are mostly white, and the leaves are fading/changing colors - still not ripe enough for me, but flushing with half nute feeds now. Feed this week was another auto pot reservoir flush feed at 400ppm total before add-ins. I used 400ppm of Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). And then, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0). PH balance this week was for 5.8 where I plan to maintain it until harvest. Next week will continue the same half nute feed. I will continue to monitor the signs of trichomes, pistols, and calyx for a better harvest and allow the buds to mature more.

I am glad the 3rd time the charm with this one. Seeds are on the smallish side, I suggest the breeders start the reversal process 2 weeks prior to treatment, allowing more time for everything to form this will allow for bigger seeds in the end and should resolve this tiny seed problem. As you can see with this 3rd time the charm, it is really growing well. Due to a miscalculation I do not have any room for it as yet so it will have to stay small and bushy in the seedling station until i can make some room somewhere. I will use some tricks to make it grow small and compact. Here is one of my biggest old school hacks my great uncle showed me when I was very small. I always place all of my seed into a magnetic field for a few seconds, this aligns the ferrite molecules in the seeds unlocking their genetic potential. Numerous authors have established the positive influence of the stationary magnetic field on the plant seeds. The treatment fastens plants development, improves germination and seedling growth, and activates protein formation and enzymes activity. I also like to use corse sandpaper rolled into a tube and then shake my seeds in this tube, which scrapes the outside of the hard seed shells allowing for easier water ingress. I then place the seeds to soak in the seaweed water at about 25c for 12 to 24 hours. Once The seeds have cracked open I gently place them into a seedling soil mix in a 6" pot and then placed into the warm, moist arms of the seedling station. Which will protect and nurture them until it it time to go into their final pots. I find that this method ensures germination and quick, vigorous growth. It is a particularly good method to use on very old seeds and/or seeds that were not stored correctly. Also I no longer disinfect my seeds because new studies have shown the plants actually place bacteria on the outside of the shell of the seed and inside the seed to ensure the plant has all it needs to thrive

On day 40 from sprout ( 07/02/20) I switched them to flower.

she actually went for just about 10 whole weeks of flower. I’m chopping her at 69 days, as I write this, but I will post relevant photos in a harvest update after it’s dried and weighed. I watered with only distilled since the last update, and starved her of water and RH in hopes of increasing last minute the resin and trichomes production. Flushed with more distilled and after a few more days turned the lights off for two days of darkness. The next update will have the result.

Impressive how this plant managed to grow despite the few hours of light .. I guess what it could do with a better season than this year (there has been a lot of rains) and in a place where it grows with constant light.. anyway I am very happy with her, I would also say proud of how the growth went. In the last few weeks, as you can see, the plant has suffered an attack by caterpillars that have eaten some of its leaves in a short time, the plant has remained very strong anyway. I tried to remove them manually until they disappeared completely Before proceeding with the cut, I put the plant in the dark for 48 hours, further stressing it by shocking the roots with ice cubes. I've never used these two methods, but I've heard a lot about them. some say it is useless while others say that these methods work to increase the production of trichomes and terpenes. Hey gang update on the new girls!!!! So they are definite differences in the girls genetics I can tell just by this growth so far, The Tricross is a bit thinner on the fan leaves and a bit more lanky or taller. Whereas the Muchacha F5 is shorter and has wider fan leaves, so this will Most Def be a interesting grow, I'm excited to see if i can make this a much better grow then the last run. I will be using the FOOP nutrient line i picked up to see how the girls fare with is, but i wont start that until maybe week 5 or 6 depending on how the progress is at that point, thanks guys! will keep y:all posted!!!!

10/11/24 she had gotten so overly dry that she was impossible to water. i had to scrape and break of the dry spots all around the soil and root ball so that water could penetrate. she was root bound from a solo cup and then as well from 1 gallon to 3 gallon. once the rootbound spots got overly dry, they became super hydrophobic and i didnt realize how bad it was. that may be what's been affecting the over all health of the plant. finally able to get her to hold weight in water so im hopefull 10/15 pistils are getting thrown out everywhere. a bit of a stretch so far but not too much. maybe a couple inches or

Still not given any food at 35 days since popping. She's growing well and I've put her in a 4ltr pot. I've pinched the top out to slow down the vertical growth.

Day 42

Hello:) This week was easy again, watered them twice, kept the tops under the net for a few more days and then I just let them grow. I also had to raise the wasabi again, it stopped stretching like a week ago. The sangrias are also developing nicely, they are almost done stretching now. I didn‘t add any nutrients this week, a friend of mine who uses biotabs for years said I should be very careful with adding bio pk 5-8 because he had problems with over fertilizing even when using a very small dose. Since the leaves still look perfect, I‘ll wait a bit. Also the bugs are back, they seem to come in waves but nothing my sticky tape can‘t handle:) Looking forward to next week, the wasabi is small but already starting to pack some nice buds:)
