Die Woche verlief sehr angenehm für die Rainbow Road.
Angenehme Temperaturen tagsüber, nachts schon mal runter bis auf 14°C. Sie ist mit 13 cm in der Woche gut gewachsen, obwohl ich die Stickstoffdüngug mit Vinasse reduziert habe (Mir geht der Dünger aus, Scherz.. 😉).
Wegen eines angekündigten Gewitters, das dann doch nicht besonders intensiv verlief, habe ich sie besser verschnürt um ein Abbrechen von Zweigen zu verhindern.
Da ich glaube an den unteren Blätter ein paar mineralische Defizite zu erkennen, habe ich einerseits mit Seetangextrakt und Bittersalz als schnelle Maßnahme die Blätter besprüht und am Ende der Woche auch ein wenig mit Bittersalz (Epsom Salt) gegossen.
Ich mache das zum ersten Male überhaupt und hoffe dass ich es nicht übertrieben habe und keine Verbrennungen auftreten. Ein Esslöffel auf 5 l Wasser.
Nächste Woche kommt die Ausrüstung zur Erstellung von Komposttee (eine kleine Druckluftpumpe und das passende Rohr zur Umwälzung). Das soll viele, viele Mikroben aus meinem Wurmkompost vermehren und sich fleissig am Pflanzenwachstum und deren Gesundheit beteiligen. Es ist eine Neuheit für mich, wenigstens wird der Wurmkompost hier sinnvoll verbraucht. Etwas Humus vom Boden der Benjeshecke kommt auch noch rein.
Und es wird Zeit für ein Top Layer in den Töpfen mit Hornmehl, Rinderdungpellets, Wurmkompost und etwas Erde.

When attempting living soil in smaller containers, replenishing soil nutrients & refreshing biology often is an absolute necessity to keep root expansion & activity from stagnation. I top dress heavily every three weeks.
Total Tent Entry Time-40 min
Cover crop chop & dropped then integrated into existing straw mulch.
Top dress of 2 cups worm castings, 1 cup Build a Flower, 1/2 cup Craft Blend, 1/4 cup Kashi Gold, 2 tbsp Ocean Blend, 2 tbsp Kiss My Frass, blended together & mixed into mulch/cover crop layer.
6 cups of reclaimed & re-ammended soil, with fresh nematodes mixed in, used to cover mulch/cover crop/top dress layer of each pot.
Hand watered each container with 1/2 gallon plain 6.5 ph/11 ppm reservoir water, mixed with 1/2 tbsp each of Azos, coconut water powder, & quillaja saponaria extract powder.
Finally, added a 3/4 inch layer of fresh straw mulch that has been chopped to 1 inch lengths, & soaked in 3/4 gallons reservoir water mixed with 1/2 tsp each of coconut water powder, quillaja, & 1/4 tsp Recharge, giving me Azos at the root zone & recharge at the mulch level while keeping them apart.
DLI raised to 31
VPD raised to 0.90-0.95 kPa
Worm activity high in both containers & even saw some juveniles in the cap layer.

📆 Semana Final - Eternity Grow Cup 2025 📆
¡Y llegamos al final de esta increíble experiencia en la Eternity Grow Cup! La Runtz de Zamnesia ha dado lo mejor de sí misma, con cogollos densos, llenos de resina y un perfil aromático que se ha intensificado a lo largo de la competencia. La combinación de genética y Green Sensation de Plagron ha sido todo un acierto, resultando en una floración espectacular.
Los tricomas ya están en su punto máximo, y la planta no ha mostrado signos de estrés en ningún momento, lo que demuestra que el cuidado y los productos utilizados han dado sus frutos. La estructura de la planta ha sido perfecta, con cogollos consistentes en todas las zonas.
Con temperaturas controladas y un entorno bien manejado, los resultados son más que satisfactorios. Ha sido un verdadero placer participar en esta competición y ver cómo la Runtz crecía y evolucionaba con cada semana.

It grows compactly. Unfortunately, not all shoots are growing evenly. This could be due to the Indica dominance. What do you think?
I haven't been able to find any real pre-flowers yet. At first, I thought I had found some male ones, but under the microscope they looked like leaf buds.
Fingers crossed that the plant is female. I don't want all that training to go to waste.
The SCROG frame is in place, with waxed hemp cords.

Hasta ahora muy bien mis planta aunque muy resistente presenta unos cuantos acaro aunque ya no puedo aplicar preventivos en el punto de floración en el que se encuentra ya solo qued a mirar el desarrollo de la planta

This is my last day before chop. Flushed for 2 weeks then 48 hours of total darkness. Really sweet sour aroma coming from the GG and a almost cookies smell coming from the gelato.
Will let you know the full yield once dried and cured. But not to bad for my first grow 🔥

7/21 Girls were trimmed of solar leaves, then switch fertilizer to flowering stage, flowers are appearing everywhere

Partially drained the tank at the start of the week and topped up with ro water and 1ml of final solution per Litre. Last 2.5 days were in darkness.
I trimmed the majority of fan leaves before hanging up to dry in the tent today. Started out trimming with the plants in the tent and soon realised it would be much easier to just cut them down whole, hang them upside down outside the tent and trim them up a bit.
I have a small dehumidifier and a small fan heater setup in the tent and they have been keeping a humidity level of about 60% and a temp of 16 Celsius for the last few days while the lights have been off. I figure that's a good starting point for drying and I can increase the temperature if needed, that will drop the humidity also.
Intake fan at the bottom and extract fan at the top are running constantly as they have been since the grow started (low power 4" fans).
I might add back in a fan for circulation depending on how the drying goes, or maybe even trim or hang the plants better to get more airflow around the buds

Week 13 : Six Shooter
So i've been looking into these plants' trichomes daily, sometimes twice daily, they're all really really cloudy, like full white, completely curled in. Some have a slight beige tint to them, so i'm guessing that's the first few ambers ! That means it's time for the chop ! these wrapped up their second week of flush with three x additive flush. To flush you water until run off then add 20% which is just about 4 pints for me. Now i'm at the end of the grow i can say that the full tent is a good idea, but it does get crowded and that will surely affect my yield as there are a fair few colas that are totally f-ed in the sense they are thin, skinny, a tiny bit of flower with just a few pistills... so those are useless and they're going into my bubble hash project, so let's see, maybe i can extract value out of the trim , the popcorn buds, and the rest of the plant ! Wish me luck and drop me a message, i'm chopping these down real soon ! 🚀

Doing a good bit of defoliation this week. Really want undergrowth to start thriving. Using stem clips to space everything out.
Day. 24 used tap water with ph of about 7.5. Soil ph down so using higher ph water with out ph balancing
