All three plants are hermaphrodites, however, plants 1 and 2 are showing minimal signs of male with seeds developing only on lower nodes, while plant 3 looks mostly male with a few pistils only on the very top nodes. I've decided to pluck the seeds from plants 1 & 2 as they develop, and to toss plant 3 to make room for the other 2. It's not ideal and I plan to buy feminized seeds or clones for my next grow, but the bud I got the seeds from was actually really good so I'm going to try to take 1 and 2 to harvest.

We’ve been experiencing a lot of busy days in our schedule so our posting and updates have been very scarce. We’ve kept up with our grow the entire time. We typically give our grow a gallon of water at 6.5 pH, typically room temperature, and because it’s our first grow we’re sort of allowing the plants to take their own course sort of. We only pull the yellowing fan leaves, and any debris to avoid contamination. Other than that, we typically water every other day, and add nutrients as explained on the back of the bottle (flora-gro/bloom/micro and Fox Farm Cal Mag+ when needed).

She completed the first week of flowering happily and she keeps stretching. Trailers net added to level the canopies.

This plant has been full of surprises this week lol. First I found spider mites! Then I found a little powdery mildew 🤬🤬 Well.... now that the bad news is out of the way how about some good news. She is starting to really fatten up. The smell of this girl is fantastic😎 It really smells better by the day!! 🤪 She has been yellowing out a bit quickly as of late so I may need to add a bit more feather meal and kelp meal to her top dressing routine. I may also add some cal-mag to a watering here and there as needed. I have some predatory mites and ladybugs coming soon so the spider mites time is running out🤨. As for the powdery mildew, I will have to spray her every 3-4 days with greencure to keep it from invading my precious flowers. Greencure is an outdoor farmers best bud!! (Pun intended). I’ve been in this battle before. It comes with the territory when growing in a greenhouse outdoors. Sit back and enjoy y’all. I’ll get this lady to the finish line. 😎🍿

Incredible strong smell of melon, citrus , wood, earthy, it's wonderful!😁 She has no problems at all, the buds look thicker this week. Trichomes are milky white and translucent with some trichomes starting to have honey like head appearance. Not ready yet I will give her more time.💪👍

added trellis netting this week to start SCROG. two layers close to eachother so I don't have to wait for entire square of growth to tuck under higher growth to keep flat even canopy. also minimizes my need for zip tie and garden ties needinf adjustment. I'm happy with veg growth thus far, and once the screen fills up with more green in a week or two these two ladies will both be ready to flip to flower. waiting on lower nodes to develop a bit more and get best use I can from a big(ish) 315 w LEC light. the girls are getting foliar every 3 or 4 days. using heavy 16 foliar only at the moment but will follow their foliar mix as grow progresses. smell has gotten much heavier, especially in nemo, the more blueberry pheno of the two, looking at the fan leafs I think V is more haze pheno with super thin sativa leaf structure.

I will leave it for 24 hours The seed coat softens by soaking your seeds in a hydrogen peroxide solution, allowing the seeds to absorb more oxygen. This results in increased germination speed Hopefully all 3 seeds will germinate by tomorrow? Seeds popped today:-)transferred 3 Purple Kush seeds in to small pots 10/09/23 3 Purple Kush seeds, 1 seed in each small pot. Each Pot is Half filled with lite mix compost and Half filled with Vermiculite , watered planting medium before sowing seeds 2cm deep in planting medium. The seed will push through the vermiculite easley with very little effort, in effect increasing higher successful germination rate, the compost will offer the first tap root an immediate lite nutrient supply. Placed 3 pots on top of a Propagation heating mat for correct germination temperature, position in a shaded place, and keep out of direct sunlight. This may seem like a lot of effort? and it is, but it will be highly beneficial by increasing a higher germination rate and higher amount of seeds will germinate from using this method :-) especially if your seeds were expensive. 11/09/23 no sprouts above the vermiculite yet, i will check it again tomorrow. Today 2 Purple Kush Germinate and rise above the vermiculite 3 days after sowing. Purple Kush is going ok, it could be growing faster, unfortunately i can't upload new photos because there is a problem in the GD system, they are doing there best to fix this problem as soon as possible.
