🍮 Chem Brûlée – Pheno A Week 7 | Listening to What the Plant Is Saying Welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! One of the biggest lessons this project continues teaching me is that every phenotype speaks its own language. Some whisper. Some shout. Some ask for almost nothing. And others aren't shy about telling you exactly what they need. Chem Brûlée Pheno A definitely belongs to that second group. Standing at around 120 cm, she's what I would consider a medium-sized indoor plant. She isn't trying to dominate the room with height, nor is she hiding beneath the canopy. Instead, she's growing with a beautiful balanced structure, allowing every branch plenty of space to develop its own flowers. This week she reminded me that healthy cultivation isn't about forcing plants to follow our schedule. It's about paying attention when they ask for something different. 🌿 A Plant That Isn't Afraid to Ask One of the first things I noticed this week was the colour of some of the older foliage. Several lower fan leaves continued becoming lighter green than the rest of the canopy, clearly telling me that this phenotype wanted a little more nutrition than she had been receiving. Rather than seeing this as a problem, I see it as communication. One of the fascinating parts of growing twelve different cultivars side by side is discovering that every plant processes nutrients slightly differently. They all share the same AutoPot reservoir, the same environment, the same lighting and the same feeding schedule, yet each one responds according to its own genetics. Chem Brûlée simply happens to be one of the hungrier ladies in the room. The good news is that after increasing the EC for the entire reservoir, she's already beginning to respond beautifully. The newest growth is noticeably greener and healthier, giving me confidence that we made the right adjustment at exactly the right time. Sometimes plants don't need dramatic interventions. They simply need us to listen. 🌼 Building Beautiful Flowers While the foliage has been asking for a little extra attention, the flowers certainly haven't slowed down. The main cola continues becoming more defined every day, while bud sites keep stacking along every branch throughout the plant. Fresh white pistils continue emerging everywhere, and it's becoming easier to imagine the shape these flowers will eventually take over the coming weeks. The stretch is now beginning to slow. Flower production is taking over. Every day a little less energy goes into growing taller, and a little more goes into building beautiful colas. This is where the fun really begins. 🍃 Letting the Plant Lead Apart from increasing the nutrient strength, this has been another calm week inside the tent. No heavy defoliation. No unnecessary training. Just careful observation and a little leaf tucking whenever needed to expose developing flower sites. I've learned that during these early flowering weeks, patience usually gives better results than constantly reaching for the scissors. The plant already has a plan. Sometimes my job is simply to stay out of her way. 🍽️ Feeding After seeing this phenotype asking for a little more nutrition, the reservoir strength was increased for the entire room. This week's feeding consisted of: • Terra Bloom – 2 ml/L • Green Sensation – 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L • Power Buds – 1 ml/L Along with small pH adjustments using Lemon Kick whenever necessary. Since every AutoPot shares the same nutrient reservoir, individual feeding isn't possible. Fortunately, the entire room was ready for the increase, meaning Chem Brûlée benefits from the adjustment alongside all of her sisters. 🌡️ Environment The flowering room continues running beautifully stable. • Day temperature averaged 29°C • Night temperature remained around 25°C • Relative humidity averaged 60% • Solution temperature stayed close to 22°C • Root zone remained near 21°C • Atmospheric CO₂ averaged 639 ppm Providing the plants with a stable environment allows them to dedicate their energy toward producing flowers instead of constantly adapting to changing conditions. Consistency continues to be one of the biggest advantages in this grow. 📸 Behind This Week's Photos This week's photographs tell a wonderful story. The close-up shots reveal beautiful clusters of fresh white pistils beginning to stack into proper flower sites, while the wider images showcase a very balanced plant with elegant branching and excellent spacing throughout the canopy. You can also spot the lighter colour on some of the older leaves that first caught my attention this week, but the newest growth already looks healthier and much richer in colour. It's always satisfying when the plant immediately shows you that she's appreciating the changes you've made. Sometimes photographs become more than memories. They become conversations between grower and plant. 🔍 Looking Ahead Next week should bring another exciting step in her development. I expect the flowers to continue stacking as the stretch gradually comes to an end and the plant shifts almost entirely into flower production. I'll also be watching the foliage closely, hoping to see that healthier green colour continue spreading now that the feeding has been increased. The plan remains exactly the same. Maintain a stable environment. Keep the reservoir consistent. Observe carefully. And let the plant do what she does best. Sometimes growing isn't about constantly changing things. Sometimes it's about making one good decision and giving nature the time to respond. 💚 Thank You A huge thank you to everyone following this 8×8 Adventure. Whether you've been here since Germination Week or you've only recently joined the journey, I'm incredibly grateful to have you along for the ride. Special thanks to: 💚 GrowDiaries for creating a home where growers from every corner of the world can share knowledge and experiences. 🍮 Zamnesia for providing the incredible Chem Brûlée genetics that continue revealing their personality week after week. 🌱 Plagron for supplying the nutrition supporting every stage of this grow. 💡 Future of Grow LED for delivering powerful and consistent lighting throughout the flowering cycle. 🌿 LumiFlora for the under-canopy lighting helping every flower site receive the light it deserves. 🌡️ TrolMaster for maintaining the stable environment that allows every phenotype to perform at its best. And finally... Thank you to every grower, supporter, silent reader, friend and curious visitor who stops by these diaries. Every comment, question and discussion makes this project even more rewarding to share. I'll see you all next week as Chem Brûlée Pheno A continues proving that sometimes the most beautiful plants aren't the ones that never ask for anything... They're the ones that teach us how to become better listeners. Growers Love, and happy growing everyone. 🌱🍮💚

Stay Tuned!💚

Grow diary 11 Stage 2 Days 11-20 The light schedule was altered to 19/5 on day 11 and the 6 inch distance was maintained until she went into the main tent. Lights on 7pm off 2pm Day 12 was the 1st time she was watered/fed since day 6 when it was soaked for transplant. After day 12 she was fed 300ml every day and the run off checked to make sure everything was in range. Day 18 she was topped after the 2nd set of nodes. She wasn't quite ready yesterday when i did the other 3 strains, and i forgot to take picture's. I'm thinking of removing the lowest set of nodes in a few days and doing a small mainlining project, She was moved into my new main tent (gorilla shorty gt225). The light is my mars hydro TS1000 set at 50% power 20 inch above the canopy. The wilma system is just hydroton/clay balls, and the feeds are on at 8pm for 15mins and on at 12.30pm for 15mins. Day 20 she seems to be adjusting to the topping and the transplant. I'm happy with how the last 9/10 days have gone, its still been mega hot and i have managed to battle the heat quite well so the plants haven't suffered. At the moment all 4 strains are at about the same point in growth. Temp Max 27.8c Avg 23.8c Min 19.4c Humid Max 69.5% Avg 55.7% Min 45.4% VPD Max 1.98 Avg 1.32 Min 0.71 Hope to be back in 10 days without hitting any problems.

I think I trained too hard too late in harvest. One of the Wedding Cake plants went hermie and pollenated everything. I'm disappointed but I'll be more gentle at the end of flower next grow. The buds were still good in a vape but I had to be careful of the seeds. I made hash from most of it.

Going great so far for this girl. She’s progressing along quickly compared to the Cement Shoes growing beside her. Buds are already looking like there plumping up and most of the hairs are beginning to turn. Haven’t put the scope to her yet but It’s looking like she’s gonna finish earlier then I predicted. Gonna try and push it 8 weeks but all depends on my tricombs. Getting low on supply as well so that will also going to have to effect my decision unfortunately. But we will see, still got lots of honey left from the shake so gonna be a week of just dabing maybe to let this girl finish rite...lol Been keeping the nutrients pretty much the same this week as the last 2, trying to keep the reservoir around 750ppm and letting the ph swing from 5.8-6.2. She’s loving everything so far. Got a bit of heat stress showing on some larger leaves in the middle of the screen but light is maxed out higher wise and DLI is in the 65-75 range directly under the light at the canopy top but the light mover helps keeps things from heating up too much and gives them breaks like a cloud over the sun does. That’s it for this week, couple more to go! Cheers 💨

Week 7 Flower Report – The Masterpiece Garden Unfolds 🌱 Introduction Welcome back to the most thrilling chapter of our journey yet! Week 7 of flower is here, and the garden has transformed into a paradise of unique beauty and diversity. Every plant has its own personality, showcasing the results of all the hard work, dedication, and love poured into this run. Let’s dive into the details and celebrate these girls like never before—because they deserve it! 🌸 Plant-by-Plant Breakdown Papaya Zoap The rebel queen of the garden, aiming for the stars with her towering structure. Her dense, frosty white nugs sparkle like diamonds, and her leaves are fading to a stunning yellow hue—a clear sign she’s ready to shine. Her aroma is captivating, leaving no doubt she’s going to be a showstopper. Gorilla Melon Standing tall as the second in command, this beauty is all strength and vigor. Her vibrant green foliage cradles thick, frosty buds that exude a fragrance worthy of her name. A true contender for the title of MVP. RS11 This one’s a frost factory! Long, elegant buds dripping in trichomes, with leaves gracefully fading to yellow as she transitions toward the finish line. Her balanced stature and impeccable structure make her a dream to cultivate. Green Papaya The frostiest of them all, her sugar leaves are curling under the weight of so much resin. Every glance reveals a shimmering coat of trichomes that’s hard to believe. If frost were a competition, she’d already have the gold medal! Mandarin Squeeze Dark and mysterious, this beauty stands out with her rich, deep green tones and impressively dense buds. Her flowers feel like rocks, and her aroma hints at a citrusy explosion waiting to happen. Punch Pie What can we say about this heavyweight? Her large, dense buds are jaw-dropping, and her presence in the tent is commanding. She’s proving to be a genetic masterpiece, delivering beyond expectations. 🌞 Environmental Mastery This week, we’ve begun the slow decline of PPFD to 750, keeping reds and UVs strong while easing back on whites—a calculated move to guide these girls into the final stages. The room’s stats speak volumes: • Temps: 27.8°C with RH at 64.8%. • CO2: 800 ppm for consistent growth energy. • Reservoir: PH 6.16, TDS 791, temp 21°C. • Soil Stats: TDS 669, temp 22°C. Even the fun facts are worth noting: leaf temps are ranging between 26.6°C and 24.2°C, while the LED bars are holding steady at 38°C, and the ICL-300 at 35.6°C. Aero Fan at 23°C and the filter output at 24.7°C highlight the precision and control in this room, all thanks to the incredible TrolMaster ecosystem. 💧 Feeding and Nutrient Update Our transition from organic minerals to a solo mineral approach has been a game-changer. These girls are thriving! Here’s the recipe this week: • System Clean: 0.25 ml/L. • RO Water Conditioner: 0.8 ml/L. • All-in-One Liquid: 1.75 ml/L. • K-Boost: 0.5 ml/L. • Regulator: 0.15 ml/L. This blend is bringing out the best in each plant, delivering unparalleled frost, density, and aroma. The stability of the pH, thanks to minerals, has made life simpler while pushing the plants toward peak performance. 🌟 Reflecting on Progress It’s a joy to walk into this room and witness the results of months of effort. Each plant is delivering on its promise, and the smells, colors, and trichome production are truly next-level. The journey has been demanding, but the rewards are sweeter than ever. This was a beautiful strain to grow! Easy and very resilient to everything. One of these strains you can plant and walk away and know that it’s doing it’s thing pretty much regardless of it’s environment. I got a very decent yield off of it as well at 5.8oz dried. I grew it along side 3 other Ayahuasca Purple plants in the same tent/reservoir system and the other 3 were a flop compared to this girl. I was starting a new job mid way through flowering so I was away for a week and not blaming anyone else’s mistakes but when I came back my ppm was through the roof @2000+ppm. The Alien Tech didn’t even break stride, not so lucky with the “nutrient sensitive” Ayahuasca Purple though. Lol This was my first time growing from this breeder(Prism Seeds) and I have to say I’m very impressed. This was a freebie seeds and I think I will try them out again for sure. Cheers 💨

They are being fed twice a week, with 5 glasses of 6oz each. Additionally, calcium and boron have been sprayed on the leaves. The overall smell is slightly stronger than last week. EC 1.1 PH between 5.8 - 6.2

So you've grown a normal seed? so you've grown and autoflower? well why don't you try the fast streams definitely one of the most interesting and exciting grow experiences I have been a part of up-to-date. One of the most notable traits was the branches being extremely susceptible to bending making it a truly ideal strain for a SCROG. I think one of my main mistakes was leaving the plants in a 3 gallon pot I would suggest that nothing less than a 5 gallon pot should be used and from what I have seen going from jiffy transplanting into a Solo cup then solo cup straight into a 5 gallon pot has worked much better for the clone run I'm doing now. These plants need support!!! That is a must! Especially if you are going to use defoliation at any point you're gonna see a mass of spurt of growth. Now another thing I noticed is that the end right towards your finish window where your trichome are going from clear to Cloudy They tend to mature a little bit faster than a normal photo sensitive Strain. On the feedings I would do at the end 75 to 80% of the recommended maximum nutrient mixture you are using meaning use a little bit less the nutrients for the green crack. Expect A flowering stretch of at least 75%. Other than that I'm extremely impressed with the genetics again that humbled seed organization has created for us cannabis lovers to Excite and motivate us to have something different.

Day 22 : Today was repotting day! I prepared my living soil demetheart system, I added terralba products and dynomyco mycorrhizae! I added molasses mixed with reverse osmosis water, elycitor and humic and fulvic acids! my tco is in preparation for 24 hours, I use the tco pack from terralba, to which I add many elements and bacteria Hollywood x white runtz is in great shape! nothing to say Day 28 : Here is the end of week 4, everything is going very well!! I will carry out the topping on day 29 and incorporate the TCO + defoliation!! this variety is very vigorous, very compact and has small internodal spaces! but I have a good feeling, it seems resistant to stress! we will see a few days after the topping

Tag 90: Trichome aufgenommen. CureBoxen geschlossen nach 2 Tagen im Weinkühler Next Step: Bouveda 58% , Sauerstoffabsorbierer
