I usually ph down the water to 6.6-6.8 and discovered the soil ph rose to +9. After taking measurements, I asked if the ph could also be contributing to the problems Black Opium and Big Demon exhibit. This high alkaline status contributed, if not caused the nutrient lockout. This week, I lowered the intake ph to 6.35. This reduced the runoff ph to 7.0-7.82. Big Demon looks like she is greening up a little but the damage done will remain. Many pistils are already orange, but this is an indication of stress not ripeness. I have been watering 1500 ml with 125ml run off. This is low and I will Increase water to 1750ml next time. Also I did not start Green Sensation as planned due to the lockout issues so maybe next week. Thank you all for your continued support and encouragement. Well I got my Mars TS1000 and 2x2 tent and I'm replacing the TS1000 with HLG 135w QBB288 V2 rspec! I like the TS1000 but I wanted something to handle flower better and I've ready so many solid reviews for HLG products, plus they are local to me in Canada. I also decided I need some more room so I'm swapping my tent from a 2x2x4 to a 2x2x4.7 for a bit of extra height. The plant seems to be loving the new space, my new baby (RQS Royal Cheese freebie) is growing a lot faster under this light, new diary coming up!

As we move into week 5, we're keeping a close eye on plant #2, which is showing some different characteristics than plant #1, namely, nutrient deficiencies. We seem to be dealing with it okay so far, having reduced the nitrogen input and increased the calcium and magnesium. I think these girls are anxious for some phosphorous and potassium but we're being cautious and will be feeding under 400ppm, starting tomorrow. Day 29: - increased HLG Elite 360 fixture's light intensity, from 65% to 70%. - minor LST adjustments and some leaf tucking to both plants. - installed reciprocating fan at top of tent, blowing fresh intake air across the light fixture and down to the plants. Day 30: - watered with a 500ppm nutrient solution, 4ml per gallon of Remo Nutrients' Flowering line, but with General Hydroponics' "CaliMagic" replacing Remo's "MagNifiCal", due to the lower Nitrogen content. - pH'd to 6.2/6.3 - minor LST adjustments Day 31: - calcium deficiency is showing up more on plant #2. Is there PK deficiencies as well? I'll continue feeding cal-mag and flowering nutes this week but i need to do a runoff test, and/or maybe a slurry test. Day 32: - watered with a 270ppm solution of "CaliMagic" (Cal/Mag). - pH'd to 6.4 - slurry test done with 100ml of soil and 200ml of distilled water at pH7.0. Tested slurry after 5 minutes, had a pH of 6.1. Day 33: - Plant 2 still showing a severe deficiency, which i assume is still calcium & magnesium, although the stems of the leaves are very purple and despite the genetics, i think this is indicative of deficiency issues as well. - Oddly, Plant 1 is not showing the same issues. Day 34: - did some light defoliation, removing a few small, lower shoots from the lower branches and a few of the lowest fan leaves. - increased HLG "Elite 360" fixture intensity from 75% to 80% (approx. 145 watts per each QB96 board). - Temp: 78F (lights on); 62-66F (lights off) - RH: 46-55% (lights on); 60-62% (lights off)

Flower day 31 - Having a little trouble with the temperature getting higher than I would like because my dehumidifier puts off some heat while it’s running so it’s been a constant struggle to keep the environment in this tent stable! Definitely will not have so many plants next run lol, but all in all the ladies are growing great & I can’t wait to see how they turn out! Hi Growers, Midweek defoliation of the lower growth was done to improve airflow and direct energy to the upper canopy. The plants handled it well, so two days ago I flipped them to 12/12. ——————————————————————————— V polovině týdne proběhla defoliace spodního patra pro lepší cirkulaci vzduchu a nasměrování energie do horní části. Flowers coming in slowly but surely there's a large difference in size between the lst plant and the others.

Today the girls are 17 days old and are looking great and growing fast. I performed LST last week for the first time, i decided to get rid of the bend and let them grow upwards. Im currently bending the branches to encourage them to grow outwards. I also use the ponytailing technique. By tying the uppergrowth in a ponytail 5 hours a day you maximize the light penetration. I repeat this process 3 to 4 days in a row The girls had their first feeding of Canna Terra Vega at 0.5ml p/L and are loving it so far.

Last week of bloom, After watering the last weeks whith only water I have let the soil getting more dry and after 57 day of flowering i cut this ztrawberry and will let her dry in the same tente where she grow. See you soon for the harvest report! Have a good day everybody! 🌞

Hi people! Well, after the last LST, she certainly didn’t pinpoint her final shape .. she almost covers 1 square meter .. there are very, very, very many buds! the smell of vanilla baking) is very pleasant and sweet! trichomes slowly begin to shower buds)) maybe it seems to me! but according to my observations the products of Barney Farm always give the highest result! both during growth and during flowering! at all stages! and most importantly, the resulting buds always blow away the head of any inveterate smoker !!! Barney You are the coolest !!!

Aug 9: Now done three weeks of flowering for Tropicana Cookies EV. She is the youngest plant but also the tallest and looking quite happy. Got the UV led lights from AC Infinity going for the first time. Used these last year and they seem to work. UV lights stimulates trichome production and makes up for weak sunlight this far north. Aug 12: has stretched again but the bud sites are filling nicely. Pistils have started to turn pink. This plant is looking very happy and will likely be a big producer. Added another top dressing of malted barley and Power Bloom. It has been about two weeks at least since the last round, and this will be the final round. Stopped using molasses about two weeks ago. Great for growing but I don’t want to be smoking sugar. Use during veg stage but only 2-3 weeks into flowering.

All I can say at this point is these genetics are stellar. She is still putting on bulk and has formed some truly beautiful colas. She's showing mostly cloudy trichs at this point so I believe I may chop her next week. I am not wanting to go too far past peak THC production as I am not looking for sleep medicine with high CBN. The smell is floral and quite pleasant to behold. She's frosty and looks like she will press into decent rosin when all is said and done. She's just coasting now, drinking plain pHd water and enjoying the last of her time in the tent. Really looking forward to the cut on this one. The grow was overall very smooth and definitely pretty quick compared to others but could be because she wasn’t a very tall or high producing plant. I’m sure it was something I’ve stunted along the way early on but could of also just been a runt seed. Either was 120 grams, I’m happy with. She took a well to LST along the way and didn’t have to do much defoliating with her. Looking forward to sharing a smoke report once she’s dry and ready.
