Week 9: Growth, Clones, and Preparing for Buds This week brought some important changes to the grow! The plants stretched significantly, taking advantage of the rainy weather, despite the temperature fluctuations. Overall, the conditions are supporting their development well. Notes: I made a few more clones, and so far, all of them are thriving. It's exciting to see a 100% survival rate for the clones so far. Out of the 12 plants, I identified three males. Two of them have started opening their pollen sacs, and I’ve begun collecting. The pollen is being stored in the freezer for future breeding projects. I did a light defoliation to improve light penetration to the lower branches, which should help promote even growth.

Week 8...Plants look great...Was in Aruba for a Week and they survived on the Water spikes I had in there. They have grown so much since the last time I saw them. Going to start to prune the unders of the plant in the hope they spend more energy on the top budds

It is a vigorous plant with very uniform branching, high resinous and high yield, if you grow from seed there are a few different phenos that I got, equally as good

Beginning of week.. I am beginning the flush today.. I ran some FloraKleen thru the medium.. Then just watwr tomorrow.. Then FloraKleen once more the next day.. Then just water till harvest! Not even going to pH the water and I want to see if it brings up the runoff pH any.. Just for shits and giggles, I suppose. Look at those colas! Man, they are gonna be delicious! Mid week.. Wow.. These girls are maturing quick! I think I could harvest in the next couple days.. But 1 more week should do wonders! They are both neck and neck with eachother it seems.. A few ambers starting to pop up all over the top colas.. I think by next week they should be perfecto!!! So excited! I did a super late defoliation.. I know that is not ideal to do this so late.. But the humidity is getting crazy out of control at times.. It doesn't sit there very long.. But my dehumidifier is much needed. The fans should be helping combat any mold.. I hope 🤞🤞🤞 should be fine.. These are some super sense nugs! Even the lower nugs are pretty dense! So so SO excited!!! End of week... Posted a video this update.. Plants are looking great! The Mandarin Cookies is flopping all over the place lol.. I COULD harvest now.. But I'm going to wait 1 more week.. They should be perfect! That will be 10 weeks from 12/12.. As of today.. The mediums of both plants should be good and flushed by now.. I've been using unpH'd rainwater to flush (30 - 40 PPM at 7.0 pH).. And some FloraKleen (2x for both plants) and now the runoff is reading about 80 PPM at 6.8 pH for the ETHOS Cookies and about 100 PPM at 6.3 pH for the Mandarin Cookies.. Very excited for this run to be over.. Kinda wanna try a 1 plant ScrOG'd in this 2'x4' tent under the Optic Slim 320H before I swap out tents and start bustin out the autoflowers till it's cool again 😎 but I am ready to start smokin these ladies! Anyways... On to the LAST week!!!...

It was a good week A little nitrogen of chicken manure gives high growth to the plant, it should be aerated with phosphorus, potassium, calcium and micro-maghrium. I spray Gibberellic acid in the month of June in the middle of the first month and at the end of the month as night mist when the weather is cool. Good luck to all of you. Hi fellow growers, for this first week of flowering, everything went smoothly. She took the defoliation from last week well and kept growing strong. She took 8cm during this first week of 12/12, nothing crazy but I hope she is gonna take more this coming week, so that she has pretty long main branches by the end of stretching. I'm glad the smaller branches that occupy the middle grew well and full up this empty space. I'm tucking daily the fan leaves from the main branches to allow a maximum light to reach the branches from the middle. Last week I was wondering if I had gone too strong on the defoliation and then I read about this schwazzing technique, when one defoliates even more, basically removing most of the leaves, this on the day of switching to 12/12 and then doing this same heavy defoliation 20 days later. So be prepared, in two weeks I'm gonna apply the recommended second heavy defoliation and we'll see how that goes together. 😁 Humidity is around 70% at the moment, it's on the high side but I'm not too worried about it. For the nutrients, I'm still religiously following the biobizz schedule and so far, so good. I started this week to log everyday some basic data about the plant, like height, temperatures and humidity. I guess it would be nice to have a little graph at the end to see the evolution of the plant or whatever one wants to do with the data. I think it's good practice too. -- Stereoscopic pictures -- You might have wonder what the hell are those two pictures where seemingly the same picture is put two times. They actually are stereoscopic pictures or 3d pictures. It's using the same principle as 3d for movies or virtual reality and it tricks your brain into seeing in 3d. Basically each picture is the view from each of our eyes. I made those pictures so it allows to see them in 3d without glasses. Follow along with this little tutorial (The picture "stereoscopy 2" is easier. I find it as well easier on a computer as smartphones have a smaller screen): - Having the pictures in front of you around 30-40cm (15-20cm on smartphones) from your eyes, start crossing your eyes slowly. - Both pictures are gonna move toward the middle. The idea is to make both pictures superpose each other in in the middle. - Start to focus on the superposition in the middle and if necessary, adjust the distance between your eyes and the screen. - Once it's in focus, you will instantly notice it and see my weed in crystal clear 3d! Well i ran into some problems, water temps too high over the weekend (i wasn't there) but roots and plant still looked healthy despise 24,5°C water temp over 2 days. I added 2,5ml each Hydro A & B on day 15. EC rised to 0,89 / PPM 445 and two days later ppm still the same i guess because the only part of the root touching the water couldn't uptake any nutes because of the high water temp? (everything above the water looks healthy af tho) Since my apartment is usually really hot in the summer i bought a TEC peltier water cooler + pump and a thermo regulator to ensure the water temps will stay between 20 and 21°C. i just need to wire that up and diy saved me me a lot of money. i payed about 100€ and have automatic temperature control and a cooler from amazon about 200+ € so i think its fine. I'll show you the set up once it's completed and works. Its the best budget cooling i could get my hands on imo. Today is Day 19 my parts came and i really managed it to half ass wire shit and not burning down something. wish me luck. I payed a total of 93,22€ and now got a really quiet, 150w DIY Peltier/TEC) cooler that automatically turns on once the water temp hits 21°C (69,8F) and stops when hitting 20°C. So far its working REALLY well. like im amazed and so proud i managed to do that and it was pretty easy. i had big problems with temps in my attic flat and water temps quickly rising to 24° and more which means root rot. Since i use the cooler all new roots just looking healthy as fuck. the plant is growing well and i see every day progress. So i saved a shit ton of money. the cheapest water cooler i could find on amazon was around 350+€. Sure it bet it works better, is safer to touch, not very likely to cause burning down my house because i had to twist copper wires together and let 230V run trough it BUT no way i have that much money for things like that. The cooler cools water temps from 21,5° to 20° in about 15minutes. the longer it runs the better it cools. i bought a temperature controller outlet ( 25€) which let me set 2 temps and it turning the cooler on and off. I had to cool it down manually every 2 hours before with frozen water bottles💀 So here are the stats for day 19: Water Temps: 20-21°C / pH: 5.42 / PPM: 485 / EC: 0.96 / height: 2,5cm (lol) (i added some more Hydro A and B because i thought i maybe see some nitrogen deficiency) i bet i will see some RAPID growth now since everything is dialed in, hopefully lol 150g im coming!
