This is the final week of nutes for the ladies! Time to flush her for the coming week. Also read that Purple Punch needs cold temps at night to turn color. Since I can't do that where I live, an alternative is to flush her with ice water. Giving that a try and will keep you guys updated.

Smell coming along strong. Buds are fattening and the tricromes are bussin’ all plants are eating a lot. One bubbles plant clawed. But her flowers are still nice and goin strong.

Day 1 - 03/31/2022 Hello, World! 34th Street AK-47 Autoflower from OCS.ca germinated in 1 day after placing seeds in the freezer over night before planting. This was my 3rd attempt and the freezing method seemed to have done the trick! Sprouted on day 4. I placed the seed in the Aerogarden sponge pod and didn’t press it down too much. When the tap root started, it had nothing to grip onto, so I solved this by cutting a small portion of another sponge and placed it above the seed securing it in place with a loose “lid” on top so the sprout could easily push through. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 3 - 04/02/2022 Hygrometer is in. Was drier than a popcorns fart in the closet so I got the humidifier going and it’s looking good. Went from 22% to 38% humidity in ~1 hour. pH, water temp and EC/PPM all seemed high so I added ~0.5 mL of pH Down that brought the levels to 5.4 (too low). I added ~2 cups of Brita filtered water (water was getting low anyway) before I went to bed from the fridge that helped raise the pH, lower the EC/PPM, and the temp by a few degrees as well. In an attempt to cool the water down a bit over night, I took the “cap” off of the Aerogarden reservoir to let the water ‘breath’ while the light was off between 2 am and 6 am – that did not work... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 4 - 04/03/2022 Water temp remains high at around 28 c. I replaced about 1/3 of the tank with new water and added ~1ml of Miracle Grow. Didn't effect the water temp at all. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 6 - 04/05/2022 Levels appear the same. Tomorrow I’ll change the water out and start adding FloraMicro, FloraGrow and FloraBloom with some CaliMagic. Might pick up some Root inoculate of sorts or at least some preventative root rot formula – better safe than sorry. I’ll have to start seriously taking care of the water temp as well. Having it always around the 30 degree mark is not good. On a side note, I inadvertently found a great way to bump up humidity and air temp quickly: add boiling/hot water to the humidifier. My humidifier ran out of water over night while I was asleep. At 6:30 am I was lucky enough to notice since the humidifier rattles when empty. Humidity was down to 38% at that point. I went back to bed, woke up at 8:30 and it was down to 28%. As luck would have it, there was some left over boiling water on the stove in a kettle and I needed something easy to pour with. I checked back 30 minutes later and the air humidity/temp was up to 60% / 30 C respectively. Perfect conditions for our little lady to get big and strong. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 7 - 04/06/2022 First water exchange went smoothly. This was also the first time I added nutrients other than the NutriGrow formula. I mixed everything together in 16 cups of water. NOTE TO SELF: 16 cups is not enough for 1.1 gallons! I had to add another 5 cups of water/nutrients to get the water volume right. I added a bit of NutriGrow only in the last 5 cups with ~1mL of pH down (didn’t measure; kept applying in small doses until pH was around 6). Beginning of week.. She is smelling dank as fuck! The buds are stacked.. They are about to begin swelling! I can't wait! She's so gorgeous and smells so dank! I love it!... I guess with this grow I didnt do enough by checking the runoff and making sure salts arent building up.. They build up and I keep just watering.. Thinking if I add more nutes it will fix the deficiencies but instead it burns the tips.. That is more than likely why the leaves are yellowing and burnt at the same time.. I dont think it should hurt the yield too much tho.. She's a strong lady for sure!! Glad I got many more of these seeds.. May even breed my own fem seeds of this strain just to have more of.. We will see what the end product produces.. But so far she seems like a keeper! Mid week.. She is happy and healthy! Not much to update on.. Just waiting for her to start swellin up.. She smells soooo dank! Like citrusy.. Fruity but also skunky.. Or diesely.. I love when I move her around cuz it smells up my whole room.. I love sleeping in the same room as my ladies.. Just have to get used to the fans running.. Which I already don't mind.. Helps block out other noises.. And when lights go out.. About a minute later you can smell her through out the house! ... Just so dank! I can't wait for harvest.. Not sure when I should begin to flush this girl.. Shes already so yellow.. Its the buds that matter to me tho.. Not the leaves.. And the flowers are looking immaculate as these plants ALWAYS produce some gorgeous and amazing flowers.. She started producing trichomes a little slow at the beginning but it definitely has picked up.. She is SOOOO stinky!!! End of week.. So I just recieved my order of General Hydroponics FloraNectar FruitNFusion.. BUT I have no idea when it should be added to the nutrient water.. And I can't really find anything on the web about it either.. I know it goes.. 1. Silica.. 2. CalMag.. 3. Micro.. 4. Grow and/or Bloom... What I did with Floralicious Plus is just added after everything was added.. Didn't seem to have any issues.. Wondering if I should just do it the same with this.. Kinda wondering if organic matter will even do anything with all these synthetic nutrients.. Wish I could find a COMPLETE list of what order ALL nutrients should be introduced to water when mixing nutrients.. Other than that.. This girl is doing great.. More nute burn on the leaves.. But leaves are so yellow still.. Something is off.. But the quality of the bud is still there.. Hoping the FloraNectar will help out with that too!.. Hmm.. Wondering if I should start the flush or wait one more week.. Not sure how long this strain takes.. Since nobody else has any harvested diaries on it.. Anyways.. On to the next week!

Bonjour à tous les padawans et les maîtres jedis Pour cette semaine 4 au jour 23 ma plante fais 17 centimètres et son sixième noeud apparaît je décide donc de pratiquer un LST sur ma plante. Pour ce j'utilise du fil de fer galvanisé que je plante directement dans le substrat en faisant attention de ne pas endommagé les racines car n'oublions pas que ce qui pousse dessus pousse aussi dessous. Jour 17 je pulvérise du une solution composé d'une cuillère à café de savon noir mou dilué dans un litre d'eau en prévention d'éventuels nuisibles. Je corrige mon LST suivant la pousse de ma plante ... Pour ma par c'est la manière dont je procède mais petit rappel de la technique du LST: Quand commencer à appliquer la technique LST De nombreux cultivateurs commencent la manipulation dés que les plantes possèdent entre 3 et 6 nœuds ou une paire de feuilles. Durant cette première étape de la croissance, le tronc encore flexible est pliable sans risque qu’il ne se casse, même si au fur et à mesure du développement de la plante il sera de plus en plus difficile de le plier. Nous pouvons continuer à guider la croissance des branches durant toute la culture, même durant la floraison, ce qui pour cette étape représente un grand avantage face à la taille, qui n’est pas du tout recommandé une fois que la formation des têtes commence, cela stressera en effet la plante, ce qui aura pour effet de retarder la récolte. Comment appliquer la technique de guidage LST Si nous sommes prudents, la flexibilité naturelle des fibres du cannabis permet de plier leur tronc et branches avec une relative facilitée, même durant la floraison des plantes. En utilisant une corde fine, nous pouvons accrocher la pointe de la plante à la base du pot par exemple ou à un tuteur que nous aurons planté dans le substrat. Nous plierons le tronc avec précaution et nous le fixerons avec la corde, à partir de là, nous pouvons augmenter progressivement la tension de la corde, chaque jour un peu plus, jusqu’à obtenir la position souhaitée. Soyez attentif à la réaction de la plante, essayez de ne pas appliquer trop de pression sur la corde et rappelez-vous que la flexibilité des branches peut varier d’une plante à l’autre. Pour obtenir de meilleurs résultats, il suffit de suivre quelques règles simples. Pour commencer, nous devons choisir une corde fine mais pas trop pour ne pas blesser les troncs au fur et à mesure qu’ils grandissent et qu’ils deviennent plus gros. Nous pouvons utiliser des crochets en plastique souple ou de n’importe quelle autre matière flexible pour éviter d’endommager les plantes. Spécialement en intérieur, utiliser des cordons en plastique de couleur (voir les diaries de @Silky) est très pratique pour voir facilement les accroches et faciliter le travail au milieu du réseau formés par les cordes, les tuteurs, les mailles ou les supports que nous aurons dans la culture. Bien entendu, en culture extérieure et surtout en guerilla nous ferons juste le contraire et nous utiliserons des matériaux de couleur qui n’attirent pas l’attention pour que notre jardin reste discret. Pour stresser les plantes au minimum, la mieux est de réaliser ces manipulations le soir ou juste après que les lampes en intérieur s’éteignent, ce qui leur permettra de se remettre durant la nuit. Normalement, le jour suivant nous pourrons observer comme les pointes des branches que nous avons pliées se dressent de nouveau vers le haut à la recherche d’une source de lumière. Je combine un pincage d'Apex au LST cela me permettra d'avoir une canopé plus homogène donc une meilleure pénétration lumineuse et par conséquent un meilleur rendement. Que la force soit avec vous💪

Day 107 (f45) update: Runtz is doing amazing!!! 😍😍😍 Her buds are thickening up, even the mid section buds are coming along nicely! 😛 She smells very lovely, gaining complexity in smell with some 'deeper' background smells most likely coming from the gelato parent! Brought down the nutrient dosage from 1.6-1.8 EC to 1-1.2 EC and she is handling it very well. Still at least 2 weeks left, probably 3 weeks till harvest!!! Can't wait!!! 😝 >>>> Using Botanicare TEA and SWEET RAW (carbohydrates for hydro) to hopefully gain a more complex flavor profile 😜 as the plants of the last run were lacking in terpenes 😥

Entering the 10th week, I've decided too scale back a bit on the nutrients, Due too some tip burn as well as did a flush because of extra salt build up. Things are definitely getting exciting now and the smell is now noticeable. Happy Holidays and One Love 💚.

This plant was the smallest of the 3 I am growing, she is now second biggest and by next week will be the tallest. Only using dry amendments and she is loving life. Going to be a good one.

Hello gardeners! I'm starting my third grow after two good attempts where I learned a lot. In my first trial I was able to pull 40 + 20 + 20 = 80 g under not optimal conditions (limited time mostly), and in my second I improved to roughly 40 + 40 + 60 = 140 g with one additional week in veg and an additional led panel during flower. Now, my goal is to harvest 3 x 60 = 180 g with pretty much the same set up. The differences from my previous grow will be: 1) 1 more week in veg (total 6 weeks): I felt that my girls were not mature enough when I flipped them to 12/12 in the last grows. I wanna see them stronger and more robust this time 2) Use a larger pot size during flower (5 gal): for the same reason as above, I want to give them the opportunity to be strong and robust plants 3) Reduced number of colas (16 per plant): last time I was a bit conservative doing lollipop and removing the little side branches, and ended up with ~23 colas/ plant, which did not allow proper spacing between colas. Although ventilation was never a problem, there was a lot of shade that could not be avoided. 4) Improved feeding regime: (see images) one of my goals with my growing is to establish a good feeding regime that works reasonably well for average strains with my growing medium (PRO MIX herbs and vegetables). Since the medium is a hybrid between soil and soiless, the plants don't need extra nuts in the first weeks, but as the plants grown, the organic compost present in the medium becomes not sufficient. My feeding strategy is basically the GH Flora Series - Drain to Waste chart with reduced amounts in the first 4 weeks and slightly less nitrogen during flowering. 5) Height Control: since the girls will have an extra week to grow, I'll need to be extra cautious and control their height from the very beginning. I'll be doing 1 top in the CBD and GG, and probably 2 on the Moby Dick. I also may try something similar to manifolding on the Moby Dick if she starts to grow really faster than the others. In addition, I'll be scroging everything as low as I can. 6) LED panel distance: last time plants finished flowering about 16 in away from the lamp.
