8/25/23 - Day 73 - Another week down. We did a water change today. The buds are getting fatter and WAAAAAAY smellier. I have had a couple of times now where I lost a battle to the Skunk BOSS. I have had to reach in to move some buds around because they are too close to the light on some bud sites. You can see one of the buds up top, it has some white to it, I think that's due to being too close to the light. But once I move the buds around, I smell EXACTLY like a skunk. The smell is crazy strong. It's taking several full showers and it's still all over my fingers. Gloves will be an ABSOLUTE must when just reach in for a second. 8/28/23 - Day 76 - The buds are starting to grow even more, that the buds are growing buds out of them. That sounds weird but it's the only way to describe it. It looks like Romanesco. The buds are getting more dank, fatter, and more crystals are forming. 8/29/23 - Day 77 -I did some trimming today. I push some of the buds down and really got my arms in there today. All of the buds have gained so much mass to them when I squeeze them, they are really dense. I left a time laps video of me doing some late trimming, I was noticing some of the cannabis leaves were taking some of the light from the buds. 8/31/23 - Day 79 - The trichomes are still see-through and crystal clear. I liked the taste, loved that the sugar leaves are filled with trichomes but it's just too little of a harvest for the effort. BTW, math is all wrong on the g/watt The Bestva 2000w doesn't use 1400w it uses around 390w Also, I put 25m2 because that's the total size of the tent that I used, it doesn't mean that 1 m2 would need 4 of those lamps. Also, it draws half of that when only veg is turned on. So, the correct math would be - 185w * 56 days of veg (18h) - 390w * 70 days of flower (12h) - 10g dry material - Total space around 25% of the tent Veg cycle: 185w / 1000 = 0.185 kW/h 0.185 kWh x 18 hours per day = 3.33 kW per day 3.3 kW per day x 56 day veg cycle = 186.48 kW per veg cycle for the whole tent 186.48 * 0.25 = 46kW for the area covered by the plant Flower cycle: 390w / 1000 = 0.39 kW/h 0.39 kWh x 12 hours per day = 4.68 kW per day 4.68 kW per day x 70 day flower cycle = 327.6 kW per flower cycle for the whole tent 327.6 * 0.25 = 81.9kW for the area covered by the plant Total: 46 kW (veg) + 81.9 kWh (flower) = 127.9 kW per entire cycle for the area covered by the plant 10 grams dried / 127.9 kWh = 0.08 grams per kW --- Total Harvest Total Harvest = 11g Choco + 66g KDA + 46g BC = 123g Total kW = 186.48 + 327.6 = 514.08 123g / 514.08 = 0.23 grams per kw

📆 Semana 11: La Mimosa Auto en sustrato está en su última semana antes de cosecha. Tras el lavado de raíces, las hojas empiezan a mostrar tonos amarillentos, señal de que la planta está usando sus reservas internas. Los tricomas presentan una mezcla ideal de lechosos y ámbar, lo que indica que está en su punto óptimo de madurez. El aroma es intenso y complejo, resaltando las notas cítricas dulces. Solo queda esperar unos días más para cortar y disfrutar del fruto del trabajo. ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

The end of week 1 has arrived. We all know how it goes. Just playing the waiting game. At this stage these girls are just working on building their root system. The roots should be hitting the reservoir in the bottom of the buckets soon then they should take off. Got the water pumping and the lights beaming 24 hours a day. Running a low dose of maxigro. Keeping the ph around 6. Will probably be topping them around day 12. Would be amazing if I can get them ready to switch to flower at the end of week 3. But for now I'm just going to check on them 420 times a day hoping they don't die. Might be back next week if they are alive. Happy growing!

Day 66 : Lady is fattening. I increased nitrogen (bio-grow) in order to fix some deficiencies. Also i removed Calcium this week. She is a bit behind, maybe 4 weeks, i don't know. Trichomes production just started. Edit Day 70 : She takes weight but not so fast, trichomes develop is slow, and i assume that she is stressed because of air flow on her for much time. I hope she pass this situation. I increased Biogrow to 5.4 ml / L. The other doses remain the same.

This one is the runt of the group, but she is still kicking. Started getting some yellowing on the lower leaves on all the plants. I increased the maxibloom a little today so hoping that makes them a little happier. I also changed the setup where the plants dont sit on top of the reservoir. This will make it easier to adjust the nutes if needed. I also hooked up a valve to adjust the water flow because I had a couple overflows last week. These cups are just packed full of roots. This "little" grow has become a lot of work. Chugging along though....

Week 5 Veg Report: SCROG Netting, Massive Leafs & Precise Data Mastery! 🌱 Girls Growing Stronger Than Ever! 🌱 This week has been truly epic in the grow room—so much so that it’s time to bring in the SCROG net! With the canopy expanding and the younger ones still working to catch up, the SCROG net will help me achieve that perfect, even canopy. A well-placed SCROG not only ensures better light penetration but also gives the smaller plants a chance to spread out and thrive alongside their bigger sisters. Now, let’s dive deep into the SCROG method. The Screen of Green (SCROG) technique is a grower’s secret weapon for maximizing space, light efficiency, and yields. The concept is simple but powerful—train the plants to grow horizontally along the net, forcing them to expose multiple budding sites instead of just a single cola. This way, the canopy spreads evenly, improving light distribution and air circulation throughout the tent. As the plants grow, I’ll gently weave their branches through the screen, ensuring they fill every square inch of space. The end goal? A sea of buds all basking in equal light! 💪 Huge Leafs Everywhere! 🌿 One thing that’s really catching my eye this week is the size of the leaves—they’re HUGE! Honestly, they’re so big I couldn’t resist a little fun, so I made myself some fashion accessories: leaf earrings and a cap from the Super Sativa Seed Club Green Papaya! 😂 And, of course, I captured the moment. But seriously, large leaves at this stage are a great sign of healthy, robust plants. These “solar panels” are hard at work soaking up all the light, driving photosynthesis, and fueling growth. Using the AMP-3 Precision Meter, I’m getting real-time water readings and keeping everything dialed in perfectly. Let’s break it down: • pH: 5.83 • TDS in solution: 445 ppm • Water temperature: 25.2°C The Aptus products are incredible for balancing nutrients without throwing off the pH or TDS too much. I’m fine-tuning my feedings based on these readings to make sure the girls are getting exactly what they need. Ya faltan pocas semanas y la verdad q lo las veo nada mal, absorben muy bien los nutrientes, aumentado el riego a 1lt x planta, no tienen ningún signo malo de nada, todo perfecto, eh tenido que hacer un poco de defoliación ya q habia muchísimas hojas grandes, se nota la buena circulación de aire, la penetración de luz en las partes bajas ( que aunque algunos no les den importancia o digan que esas zonas le quitan fuerzas a la planta, a mí me gusta dejar que crezca todo tal cual, sin problema.) son cogollos pequeños, pero los aceptamos igual, claro q sí... I can already tell this girl will be a healthy one.I will do some training soon as she is getting big enough to bend over.Day 20 I started LST and she is looking like a good candidate for strong healthy bushy one.

This strain Sunset-Sherbet was apart from my first ever indoor cupboard grow. Growing this strain was really fun and also quite easy. This strain has bright green leaves and grows nice developed thick stem throughout as well. The problem I faced with growing these two beautiful ladies is that they both have snapped, here are the notes on that day. 1 October 2020 (Week 6) She snapped… 🤦‍♀️🏼 The morning I was trying to tie down the main cola to the pot and what happened is, the previous time I stress trained the main stem was a while ago and the grew tight against the rope and that caused it to become a weak pot of the stem. So as I was busy tying the top cola there where the previous stress was, it broke. It was a pretty clean snap but some of the branch is still hold on, with this I simply taped it together and used rope to knot it tight, I also used a stick to use and tie the branch and stick together for support. What I noticed what was quite interesting when I taped branch back, the side of the branch that didn’t break off completely was still providing growth to the leaves while the other side started getting weak and flimsy. I never would’ve guessed it would still be able to provide growth and still heal the snapped off part.

Week 4 - 01/22 to 01/28 2021 Pictures from Days 25 + 26 TRANSPLANTED! Might have waited too long but hopefully the transplant and LST stress might slow the plant down since i think it's already flipping to flower like the other @SweetSeeds Dark Devil Auto and the Purple Lemonade from @FastBuds. I think the Red Poison might have been the first one I noticed to flip but at least this one will be quick. More and more reasons to go back to a photoperiod grow after this for more control/really test out the new lights 🙌 Ended up more 50/50 ratio of Destiny Organic's Dark Matter Living Soil + ProMixHP since I had to make the Destiny last. Apparently they went out of business just after I decided it was my favourite/new soil :( Would rather stay away from Ocean Floor since I haven't had the best experiences with it (bugs/rust fungus etc) Feel free to drop some recommendations other than Fox Farms below 👍 The Red Poison Auto is going strong other wise, keeping the LST basic to see if I can still get the screen in the tent but it wouldn't be practical at this point. I raised the @ViparSpectraLED P1500 another eight inches after transplant and started basic LST. I really wanted to get these four under a ScrOG but if 3/4 are already flipping and the LSD is still runty I might have to wait it out again. Just like the Dark Devil in my other Sweet Seeds diary, there is a solid smell on the fingers after adjusting it/when the fan hit it just right 😍 I have the @MarsHydroLED TSL2000 set up and ready to go once the girls settle into their new pots. Have the new surge protector/heavy duty power cords/power tool grade timers as mentioned in Week 3. Some of it shown in the pictures.
