Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. It's always exciting to see the fruits of our labor fully realized. A huge thanks to everyone who's been following along on this journey. Your interest and support mean the world. ~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2206 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 1/19- Here we go into Week Four of flower and these testers are ON FIRE!🔥🔥🔥 Both testers are in a flower frenzy and are ready to eat! Today I gave both girls their last top dressing with Down To Earth 4-8-4 Flower Mix at a ratio of 2tbsp/g and Coast of Maine's Stonington Blend 5-2-4 Organic Plant Food at a ratio of 1tbsp/g which I simplified by using 1/3 cup of the 4-8-4 and 1/4 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 4g pot and 3/8 cup of 4-8-4 and 1/8 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 3g pot. After working the amendments into the medium, I watered it in with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. It will take a week for the microbes to begin breaking it down and will last for 3-4 weeks after that which should coincide with them finishing up, or close to it, enabling them to naturally 'flush' themselves out. I've also increased the power to the HLG 650R's the the Trolmaster Hydro X Controller to 75% which has them pulling 990w at the wall and have them hung 32" above canopy. I also starting adding in 4 hours of UVA during the middle of the light cycle for the remainder of flower. I've been monitoring their leaf temperatures and they're running 71-73℉ which is perfect! I have the AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller set to 1100ppm with a 100ppm window and the AC Infinity Cloudline T6 controller set to maintain a 74℉ temperature in the tent while the lights are on. 1/21- I'm watering these thirsty girls daily with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉ and they're both thriving! The #1 pheno stays in a perpetual state of 'praying'.... a VERY happy girl she is and the #2 is just an enormous plant with tons of bud sites and flowers that are starting to get a coating of white trichomes giving them that frosty appearance! 1/23- I watered/fed both testers today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water each with GreenGro's Natures Brix, Granular Myco and Flower Finisher mixed in, after which I added 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉. They'll be getting straight water from here moving forward as the medium has enough food in it to support them until they finish. 1/25- Daily watering continued today with both girls receiving 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. OMG they're both looking fantastic, both are amazing cultivars with a generous coating of trichomes beginning to cover their flowers. They are looking better not being so jammed up and the light can even be moved up as the side coating is excellent, plenty of light. Climate conditions inside the tent are ridiculously easy to control just from the increased area inside may hold plenty of fans, humidifier, or whatever else is needed. Not to mention being able to stand inside the tent with the plants. The smaller tent is being given veg duties for the next rotation. Fed Rchrg/Bio-bloom-grow just no deficiencies at this point to address, everything seems fine 8/25 D42 End of week First real haircuts for all , leafy strain but easy to work. Tried to get as many sites uncovered completely as possible yet keep the total under 5% so as not stress the plant too much. Worked on the bottoms (heh) of the plants so nothing will restrict air flow or hijack nuets, Will replace these pics with better later, color correction is not as strong as we would wish.

This week they did more stretching as you can see the one on the left is into and above the light! I can't believe this but I'll role with it! I slowly defoliate just a little here and there between watering and filling the humidifiers. They really like to eat! Also, something to note that is they love the humidity as well as the warmth. I had to clean the outside of their grow bags this week. To my surprise the roots are starting to come out the bag! I can't believe it but this is awesome! Now they'll die due to contact with the air, and in return get bigger to take in even more nutrients! As predicted they fell off because their little pieces are on the floor. Well I fed and watered them daily. Like normal whenever I fed them either nutrients or soil amendments I made sure to water the plants with plain pH balanced H2O the next day in order to flush them. Then I would do any soil amendments if needed. After that plain pH balanced H20 and then you could do another fertilizer nutrient for them. After that pH balanced H20 and then you return to the soil amendments if needed. That way every other day you're feeding soil then pH balanced H20 then nutrients then pH balanced H20. This will allow you to monitor pH imbalances, nutrient burn, or any subtle changes you need to make you can catch it before it happens hopefully!

Coming along nicely. Large number of bud sites, starting to grow but still far from mature. Nice aroma every time I open the tent. Starting to become a bit frosty.

Hey there it’s been really cold lately it’s been hard to keep the humidity and temps at a decent range. A lot of the plants are showing stress from the environment. The pound cake auto is doing pretty well it has gotten a lot larger. This morning I finally saw some small pre flower hairs coming from the main stem. Also the stems in the plant seem to be starting to stench. So 90% sure buy the end of the week the plant will really be showing signs of flowering. Well just saying it’s flowing now. From what I see online this strain takes along time to switch to flower compared to lots of auto flower strains. This would be a perfect strain if you wanted to main line

So to fix this little error I went out and purchased two Cherry Pie clones from a local grey market dispensary. I joked Dynomyco will cover the cost and yet to hear back from them lol. I have inoculated one clones rootball and the transplant medium with Dynomyco, the other clone and its medium got no Dynomyco. The Dynomyco Clone is on the left in photos, it's also the only pot with a mini glass thermometer. I did this exact thing in my Dr Seeds Granddaddy Purple Diary vs 60day wonder. I don't expect it to count as an entry but more of a 2nd side by side on two different strains. GDP vs 60DW. Hopefully I will get some stickers in my package and can label the pots as such. I used my own personal stash of Dynomyco as I have not been shipped the contest materials yet but the clones where good to go an I wanted to get this beast on the way. The plants will be grown outdoors and transplanted at min 2 times max 3 times. Nursery pot to 1Gal, "this weekly entry" 1Gal to 2Gal, "3-4 weeks away" and finally 2Gal to 3Gal maybe. "6-8 weeks away" This week 1 entry is the first transplant from nursery pot to 1Gal, I have sheltered them inside for the first few days as we got heavy rainfalls and I did not what that to be to much of a shock for them, they are in my Spider Farmer tent under 24/0 lighting with the SF1000 @60%, they should be good to make their way outside tomorrow if the weathers good. I have noticed I have a lot of outside light interference on my balcony with all the safety lights in the surrounding areas buildings. I am going to try and LST these plants to keep them low and below my balconies wall to avoid excess light pollution. about 3 feet high.

so far its looking healthy and bushy! did some slight bending on branches in order to get more light thru to the bottom budsites. i can’t quite pin down her terpene profile yet, i’m getting pine, citrus and possibly fuel but its not strong
