Again plants are growing very quickly and all I am taking care of is the microbes and the water. Raised rootball temps to 24c plants are liking it.

Veg day 39 week 6. These plants were mainlined to produce 12 to 14 colas ( branches) , completed last round of topping. They are now free to start growing upwards. They have developed really strong thick branching due to pinching the stems, H.S.T. Have done my share of damage to them, getting a little bit rough with some of the branching, splits & breaks in stems. Although they are very hardy plants & don't seem to be affected by it to much & it also helps to strengthen stems & branches to support the weight of BIG DENSE BUDS, & also aids in the increase of nutrients being delivered to your plants because it also increases the size of the Nutrient highway! (The hollow inner middle of the branches gets bigger allowing the uptake of more nutrients and water.

The plant continue to grow incredibly strong and fast from now on I well slow down on grow nutrientes cuz the leaves are very dark green and we are well into flowering meaning they don't need that much not nitrogen anymore. Thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow.

On week 7 day 1 I chopped two tops that were in the way of getting to the back of the tent. I quick dried them and tested them and determined the girls need another week or more before harvest. I lowered my day time and night time temps by 5 degrees to bring out the colors. On day 5 The trichomes are turning milky and I'm excited for harvest, shouldn't be more than a week :) On day 7 I changed out the reservoir with straight water in order to leech my plants before harvest.

The plant with banana peels style leaves is a Nitrogen excess, it start with the tips of the leaves pointing down, like claws, then it turns into some old bananas peels looking. The other one, with the crispy looking leaves is a lack of P-K, it starts with some kind of dark brown/purple stripes marks on the leaves with the tips starting to points up + a lack of Mag , the leaf is cupping like a taco shell ! The game now is to loose less yield than possible on those two ladies, but from now it’s already 25% gone .... This is a good example to show that every plants are different, all of them are running on the same diet, all others plants are doing great except those 2. Morality is to check your plants daily, those problems can be fixed before it happens, when you know how to diagnose the primary symptom 😉 Week 3 trimming !!! You must clean your plants legs and cut off all the lil shoots, in the bottom, that haven’t reach the top ! Main goal to keep in mind is to spend all the energy on the top, cleaning the legs will help to avoid wasting energy on the bottom of your plants Once again, Mars-Hydro has definitely improved their performance, the shoots structure of the plants under the SP-250 is amazing. The plants have developed so many shoots compared to the plants under the HID’s , it’s really remarkable ! (I’m looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control)

Day one of flower finally here, top dressed with Gaia Green & worm castings but I have also began high frequency fertigation with emerald harvest nutes on top of the dry amendments. Plants have not looked healthier. I get the benefits of high frequency fertigation and have a stable root zone as it's packed with organic matter. I still use recharge at every watering also, except when giving silica. With the new watering style I now water 7 times daily with nutes or suppliments in every watering.

So all in all the strain took 98 from seed. It was easy to grow and forgiving aswell. The buds smells super sweet and are quite fluffy like a true sativa!

First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. Sour wiz is still in it’s stretching phase. Growing at maybe more then 1” a day. Bunch of white hairs coming out and small buds starting to form. The white stuff on my plants is a cal carb foliage spray by xtreme gardening. After 30-40 hrs it rinses off with a decent application of just water. I also added more light to the bottom of my canopy because I’m sick of low bud production down low. If it’s gonna be popcorn nugs they can at least be super resin covered popcorn nugs. Roughly around an extra 160w of led/cfl lights . Helps a lot.

Placing a dehumidifier or humidifier in the grow box turned out to be ineffective when both devices have their own automated settings. For instance, a humidifier set to 55% humidity works within a ±5% range, meaning it waits until the humidity drops below 50% to turn on and runs until it hits 60%. Since its sensor refreshes every 30 seconds, it might show 54% one moment and jump to 61% the next—not exactly stable at 55%. The dehumidifier behaves similarly. To achieve more consistent results, it’s better to rely on a hygrometer inside the grow box and use “dumb” devices that simply turn on when powered. Connecting these devices to smart outlets provides more precise control. For manual control, I maintained around 55% humidity by turning the humidifier and exhaust fan on and off via phone. Most moisture and aroma are released during the first three days, then taper off. The common rule of “when thin branches snap, it’s dry” led me to overdry my buds. A more reliable method is to monitor the hygrometer. When humidity stabilizes after the initial rise, wait one more day and then jar the buds. Rehydrating Overdried Buds: Overdried buds can be revived with a small piece of mandarin (or orange) peel, about 2.5x2.5 cm. Thoroughly wash the peel (even sanitize it if needed), cut a square, and place it on top of the buds in the jar. In my experience, this brought the humidity from 46% to 62% within 4 hours. Afterward, burp the jars for 15 minutes and monitor the hygrometer. If the humidity drops below 55%, return the peel for a few more hours. Once stable at 60-62%, remove the peel and continue curing, burping the jars twice daily for 15 minutes. As for humidity packs like Integra Boost or Boveda, I used them because I had some lying around. These packs are designed for 12 grams of product, so they don’t make a big difference in larger jars. If you burp jars daily and gently rotate the buds, they’re not really necessary. Trimming and Results: After 7 days of drying, I decided to trim dry this time. It turned out to be somewhat more convenient—everything gets covered in resin anyway, but the remaining leaves easily fall off, speeding up the process. I went for a tight trim, removing as much as possible. During the process, I felt disappointed seeing how little remained on the branches. The buds turned out airy and small, and I started cursing American genetics halfway through the trim. However, when it came to weighing, the results were surprisingly decent. Considering the buds' poor appearance, they’re not going to impress anyone visually, so it might have been easier to shred everything and use it for extraction. I don’t have extraction equipment, so I’ll make cannabutter from the trim, and the buds can rest in jars for now. Takeaways: Use a proper hygrometer for humidity control, not built-in sensors on humidifiers or dehumidifiers. Overdried buds can be easily rehydrated with citrus peel. Daily burping and rotation are sufficient for curing without humidity packs. Dry trimming can be faster and more convenient but may highlight issues with bud density. Despite underwhelming appearance, high resin content makes the strain great for extraction.
