I'm going to invest in a 2nd dehumidifier before I start another run, 2 of the plants are WAY behind, both of them have been little jerks the whole run, starting from runty ugly seeds and limping the whole way, one is so sparce, the other "runty one, is actually way too compact, I didn't get it open enough early, so it has just been a little mess the whole time, she IS the frostiest, but her buds are tiny tiny, even the tops are tiny, but I will just make dry ice hash with that one and make rosin. I'm super stoke though, I need to clean the room pretty good this next week during my 1st week of flush to get ready for a harvest in 10-14 more days...

She is taking shape nicely, but in the meantime I noticed some CalMag and N deficiencies too. On the next feed I will go with 2/3 strenght and the following one will be 3/4 if needed. At the moment I’m switching from tap water to rainwater, the problem is that Biobizz PH down doesn’t hold the ph for more than an hour. Hence the deficiencies. I ordered a PH- from Growth Technology, it solved the issue. The watering regime is as follows: •Clean water in the tray for 3 days, top up if needed •Turn off the air pump, drain the water •Wait 12 hours •Pour the feed in the tray (4 liters - 1/2 strenghth) •Leave the feed in the tray for 24 hours, air pump off •Drain the leftover of feed •Clean water in the tray, turn the air pump back on

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Week 4 and buds are beginning to fatten up nicely, I’ve changed the position of the gelato and one of the Zkittles to improve light penetration into the canopy as the leaves have began to defoliate themselves from the plants. This being said all plants are looking green and healthy and show minimum environment stress. Hopefully this change in the canopy will allow each of the strains to grow to their full potential with the limited space that I have.

23.08 The Drainmaster moved into the tent to control the drain. Defoliated and lollipopped them. 25.08 First run with the drain system. Nutrient Solution (Tank): Volume: 8.5 L EC: 3.05 pH: 5.5 Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients Micro/Grow/Bloom + CalMag Irrigation Run: Pump time: 30 minutes Total Drain: 5.0 L (≈ 60%) Drain EC: 2.6 Drain pH: 6.0 🔎 Observations Drain volume was far too high (target is ~20%). Drain EC lower than input EC → medium was relatively “empty”, plants absorbed nutrients quickly. pH drift from 5.5 → 6.0 shows some buffering effect left in the reused substrate, but limited. Substrate behaves more like coco than soil now (low buffer, fast response). 💡 Insight / Lesson Learned 30 minutes pump time is way too long → resulted in 60% runoff instead of 20%. For 8 × 1 L pots, a single irrigation event should be ~1.0–1.2 L total, with ~200–250 ml runoff. Solution: shorten pump time to ~5 minutes and re-test runoff. Better approach: run shorter, more frequent irrigations (daily) with a lower EC (2.0–2.2), instead of heavy feedings (EC 3.0) only 3× per week. This will keep EC more stable in the root zone and prevent salt buildup in the tiny 1 L pots. 27.08 Adjusted the pump timer to 5 minutes, gave the first dose of PK13/14.

Hi Growmies, The buds are slowly stopping to stretch on this one. She was defoliated quite a bit as I was worried about aircirculation on her side of the box, another aspect speaking for a scrog in this box. Next week she will get some PK 13/14 to real kick off the fattening and ripening stage.

Aug 16: Lemon Cream Kush has stretched a bit and the buds are starting to fill in. Should be a decent yield and I’m looking forward to the tast of this one.
