I just mixed the res with a solution of a shade over 2 ec and pH to 5.5 to account for the pH drift I've been encountering, first pistil hairs are evident now and I have been deleafing to try to keep intra-canopy humidity in check. I added a new Viparspectra P1000 in the tent to give 220w of power to give her the photons she needs without keeping the one light right on top of the leaves. Here comes flower!

On day 1 I changed out my reservoir, and added my bloom nutes, adjusted my light schedule to 12/12 and defoliated the plants. I adjusted the reservoirs PH to 6.1 My hope is that by flipping this cultivar earlier than my last run, I will not run out of vertical space ;). On day 2 I adjusted my reservoirs PH down to 6.1. I lowered the light intensity from 100% to 85% to give the top of my plant canopy an average PPFD of 700-1000. I just got my first quantum par sensor and I'm really loving the new data it gives me to optimize my lighting.

Watered with regular water and didn´t feed her. Flushed it with regular water on day 74, looked like it had still lots of nutes/salts buildup. And about flushing: I saw a really good study (I can link if it´s of interest for someone) showing that flushing isn´t really required, specially if you´re doing organic grows. It was really well explained and had solid arguments and comparisons, even tho, I flushed her in order to see if it really makes a difference. On day 76 when i first opened the tent in the day, she was all the way to the floor, almost hitting 2 tiny girls on the tent. Since she doesn´t had any strenght to support herself, I used some ropes to mantain her up. In resume: The week´s been really nice, she´s beautiful as hell with some purples and I´ve learnt some really good stuff as well.

This week I repotted the plants into the bigger pots and gave the plant i don't want to keep a new pot. They grew a bit but not that much. They also look a little light green again but that is because of the sun shining on them. I put them inside at night because it still is like 13-15 degrees outside. Did some LST again. Will give them some Canna Cure in a few hours or tomorrow morning.

Buds are getting denser, stickier and stinkier this week. Defoliated a few leaves from each plant throughout the week. Watered every 2 days with a 1/4 gallon to each. Not sure if i want to top her or not. I might be forced to if she gets out of control. She sure is magical and so easy to grow. Not need much attention right now I'm just letting her do her thing! I have learned that if you leave them alone instead of being overbearing they will surprise you!

Here comes the week 12. West Coast OG looks huge, what i can't say about Californian Snow, in some moment it buds stopped growing and im not sure about the harverst. what do you think should i give it extra week ?

I left the honey cream outside in a dark place, which turned out to be a big mistake. None of the branches that I trimmed and dried directly had bud rot but around 6 buds that were left outside had bud rot. The mass of this plant really put me to the test took a whole lot of time to trim every branch. In fact I still have a bunch of branches that I'm too lazy to trim right now so I'll do a dry trim someday. Although this grow had some problems it was an absolute pleasure to watch these plants grow and to now having this harvest is absolutely beautiful, a perfect strain mix. I won't ever let them grow this big again since I really don't need that much weed and I think I'll going to have more fun with some extreme LST or something like it and I guess I'll look for strains that will flower earlier and not for ones that flower fast.

She’s flourishing and flowering

Day29F - still showing vast growth on buds, swelling and trichomes blossoming out. The colours starting to form nicely on the buds. Smells like a pungent caramel now. Day32F - This plant is so thick and strong, and can resist a dry and hot climate. For me this plant has been so easy, and she sucks up nutrients and loves it, 💪 Buds are getting dense and so sweet to smell. So fat and so many, I'm surprised on this auto 👏 well done again RQS. Day 68- Day 33F - the buds continue to swell and devolope. Trichomes flooding through now. Starting to see cloudy so will push for another week of nutes if she'll allow it after Friday, we'll see 😏✌️💚
