🇩🇪2.9.25 - sie sind alle oberhalb des Substrats.🎉 die Papaya Cookies hat es eilig und war als erstes da die Frost Banger kam als nächstes und die beiden Z-Ups waren gestern Abend und heute Morgen auch am Start. Passend dazu war es zum dritten Tag an dem sie in der Erde stecken nach dem angießen heute auch wieder Zeit zum Gießen es gab etwas mehr diesmal gute 200ml pro Topf, möglicherweise etwas viel aber das verteilt sich im Topf ja gut und ich möchte auch vermeiden das die Wurzelen auf trockenes Substrat treffen. 8.9.25 - ❌Abbruch nachdem ich bemerkt habe das ich mich nicht ordentlich genung vorher über coco als Substrat informiert habe, dementsprechend hab ich zu wenig gegossen und nach 5-6 Tagen schon bemerkt das etwas nicht stimmt und sie auch nicht mehr großartig retten kann. Werde Ende September wieder auf Erde mir einem light mix neu starten.💛🏼 🇬🇧 9/2/25 - they're all above the substrate.🎉 The Papaya Cookies are in a hurry and arrived first. The Frost Banger came next, and the two Z-Ups were also in action yesterday evening and this morning. On their third day in the ground, it was time to water them again today. I added a little more this time, a good 200ml per pot, perhaps a bit much, but it distributes well in the pot, and I also want to avoid the roots coming into contact with dry substrate. 😅💛 9/8/25 - Cancelled after realizing I hadn't done enough research beforehand about coco as a substrate. As a result, I watered too little. After 5-6 days, I noticed something was wrong and couldn't really save it. I'll start again at the end of September on soil (light mix). 💛🏼

420Fastbuds FBT2308/Week 7 What up grow fam. Happy Easter to all. Weekly update for these two stunning girls. Where in the 3rd week of Flower and they are swelling up nice. I did notice some fad in the leafs so I upped my nitrogen a little and it seemed to stop the problem. All in all Happy Growing

The first thing I did was disinfect everything and put it in the shower. Then I calmly rewired the tent and filled the pots. 20% clay balls at the bottom as drainage. On top 50% Biobizz All- and 50% Biobizz Lightmix. I mixed the whole thing well beforehand. 3 seeds came out great, one is currently fighting through and I don't think anything will happen to the last. I planted them all today. Let's see if the last one can still make it.

Week 22 of our painful result on the mothers. Reveg. Is full on and the plants are all trying desperately to figure out how to flower again. A couple days ago I was resolved to the fact that this cycle of mothers was not going to be anywhere near our acceptable standards for a high quality bud harvest. We lamented and cried a little…. Then we got ridiculously high to numb the pain…. And then I had a brilliant thought! The whole purpose has been to pollinate clones this whole time. Now that our stable of clones are well into rooting and reveg. We can simply use the mothers for breeding instead and salvage a harvest of high quality buds with the clones! It’s not an ideal situation and will result in less smokable buds but that said (and as per the outdoor photos), quantity won’t be a problem this year as usual😉. I figure a week or two to see what happens with em and we’ll commence the sperm spray😎. We’ve also taken some additional steps and commenced with impregnating the Spliff strawberry on a couple of select branches. This plant is proving a beauty as expected - even despite a little fasciation she’s a monster🤩🤩. Method - we placed some pollen into a brown paper bag (both some SOG in one and some 707 in another. - we marked 2 branches with zip ties to keep track of which pollen is where. - we wrapped the branches in each bag and twisty tied it closed to the stem base for about 12 hours. - after remove the bags and to prevent further pollination on the rest of the plant we sprayed down the pollinated branches and then the entire plant with a light mist of water. When ur outdoors this isn’t perfect science and there will be some additional seed that pops out elsewhere. Regardless, it’s a guarantee the 707 is viable but I’m none too sure about the Skywalker stuff. It may have been subjected to moisture while in storage and could be inert at this point. No telln for a few weeks🤞. The dutchy system, despite significant time to set up has been better than expected - all the plants are happy, added a Skywalker clone to the mix for flowering as well. They seem to be taking to the Druid nutes just fine. Great system and she’s pretty much on cruise control right now👌. All told - the pollen chuck is not yet a complete failure. We’re definitely gonna have some cross beans - they only question that remains is how many different strains. Thanks again for hanging with the longest grow ever👍👊. Background/Repetitive Nonsense These plants will be the two mothers this growing season that will be utilized for stage 2 of the pollen chucking project. We’ll be taking clones and stressing the genetics for some fem. pollen using colloidal silver. Instead of trying to reinvent the wheel with landrace genetics, we’re effectively skipping initial hybrid crossing and stabilization, going straight to the polyhybrid mix. I call it the shotgun approach to selective, unvetted and amateur breeding on a micro scale😉. These 2 parent strains will form the basis for 8-10 different F1 polyhybrid combinations and a further S1 back cross of each of the mothers. Not only should we be able to preserve the genetics for both mothers in feminized form but we’ll also be running an entire family of new hybrids after seeding out clones from each on the initial lineup of this summers photoperiods. Method is pretty simple here; once we’ve got our pollen off the two mothers we’ll be clipp’n clones on 4 select strains that have proven results from various respected breeders. We’ll be using those for pollination purposes in what is expected to be a 10 plant recirculating Dutch bucket hydro system. ***Update*** The feminization process didn’t take at all with the strawberry or the Skywalker so it’ll be reg. Seed crosses with only Skywalker and some other 707 Headband that we have in the vault. ********* Strain details: Parent strains for self pollination - Skywalker Kush by Reserva Privada Classic kush effects and earthy aroma. The strong kush element of this cultivar will compliment any cross. - Spliffs Strawberry by Spliff Seeds Incredible mix of flavourful terpenes and hard hitting high THC. She’s got some Herer as well as some Diesel in ‘er so an obvious choice for any cross as well. ***UPDATE*** The strawberry had to come out of this breeding run to wait for a better mother that hasn’t been attacked by aphids. It’s been a tough battle this season and we’ve had to make a couple of heartbreaking sacrifices already. Parent Strains for cross pollination ***UPDATE*** We added another 2 strains to the mix just in case we need to spot swap for some more variety. - Ghost Train by AMS Seeds A cross of Alien OG x Ghost Train Haze. Never tried the strain but I’ve heard only good things. This one might be worth mixing with the Strawberry so we’ll see how it goes. ***UPDATE*** Sadly - the ghost train turned out to be an auto so cloning her out as part of the breeding project is a no-go. Really disappointed about this but at least we still have a ready backup strain on the lost coast og to take her place. - Boogie Nights by AMS Seeds A cross of Kalijah, aka afghani/skunk/diesel/blue heaven X Juanita, aka NYC Diesel/Reina Madre). No idea here so naturally I’m interested😉. ************** - Lost Coast OG by Emerald Triangle Pakistani Kush x Lemon Thai x Chemdawg #4. Essentially a classic, west coast combo of landrace kush genetics that Cali is famous for, mixed with hard hitting Chemdawg #4. ***UPDATE*** The Lost Coast is a winner of a plant. Still outdoors and in veg. Looks like it’s recovered from the aphid attack. Might consider trying to take another cut of this and just rooting it in a pot for pollination. At this point, what the hell and if we could salvage anything it would be a positive. ***** - Spliffs Blueberry by Spliff Seeds (Chocolate Thai x Afghani #1 x Highland Oaxaca) x Northern Lighhts Special. Only 1 bean of this left and the whole purpose is to blend the best of Spliffs Berry strains as a tribute. Awesome breeder and they’ve been very kind to us over the years. - Northern Light by Royal Queen Seeds NL means nuff said. A combo of 11 unknown strains believed to originate from the west coast of North America. This cultivar is a great take on these classic genetics and a perfect compliment to just about any cross. A biased fave of ours.👍 - White Widow by Seedsman Brazilian Sativa x South Indian Indica. This classic strain has been unluckily elusive for us the last couple years. We know the quality of seedsmans version of this cultivar having grown it in the past. Sadly, a very strong performer that never made it to harvest due to an uncontrollable aphid infestation. And we’re only at step 1.... still gonna need an assist with pheno hunting all of the crosses so if anyone’s interested in running the testers (when we finally get to that point) just let me know👍😎. Harvested #2, 40/60 amber to cloudy trichome ratio, couldn't weigh wet 25/10/24 - Harvested #1, 50/50 amber to cloudy trichome ratio Haven't weighed #2 final dry weight yet, still in the process of trimming #2 final dry weight: 273.9g, just under 10 ounces. 02/11/24 - #1 is dry, haven't had time to trim, in jars until I have time. Estimate #1 will yield more then #2 #1 final dry weight: 351.8g, 12.5 ounces 625.7g total off both plants #2 has better bag appeal, smell is very floral and piney. #1 is not as nice looking in appearance but takes the win for smell, has a strong skunk smell, get a whiff of cat piss whenever the jars are opened as well. Was very prevalent in the final week of flower, kept thinking the cats had got into the room and peed somewhere. Overall happy with the results.

So things have been going a little slow. I have to pick up an extension cord so I won’t miss a watering that’s why I feel they’re growing slow. They have been moved into a veg tent so the 12/12 is on pause for rn. I appreciate everyone tuning in and checking out my diary. They’re growing well. Some lower leaves fade so I just pluck them off. The buds are all maturing at this point. Cannacheese is the largest lady and she drinks 2 L of water every other day, it’s almost hard to keep up with her. All the others are forming nice healthy buds. Pink kush is turning out to be the smallest of the bunch but her color is so nice! Her buds are still a little smaller than what I’m used to but I’m not surprised tbh I knew she’d likely be a smaller yield. Can’t wait to harvest!!

Tag 70 : Die Triple G ist mein Sorgenkind. Die Gute hat sich ordentlich gestreckt 😱 Die Lampe hängt schon auf Anschlag 😨 Somit ergibt sich ein Lampenabstand von 20cm - 30cm. Ich hoffe das alles gut geht 😬 Die Pflanze hat nur wenig Blüten, aber ist unglaublich durstig, lässt sich aber nur schwerlich gießen. Tag 72: Mit erschrecken musste heute feststellen das ersten Blätter in der Mitte schon gelb werden😱 Es ist mir durch viel bastelarbeit gelungen den Lampenabstand wieder auf 30cm statt wie vorher auf 25cm zu bringen😃 Der Filter jetzt zwar ziemlich dicht an der Decke, aber was solls 😁

D57 Ninth week humidity problems, I added a fan in total 3, added an additional extractor that introduces fresh air, I constantly keep the growbox open, so the risk of mold seems to have been avoided. stop PK 13 14 and big bud, now only biobizz for my fat.

11/3 - Today was the first day of week 5 and also the first day I could see a visibly measurable decrease in her water level between check-ins (~12 hours apart). As a result of her drinking so much water in such a short time, the ppms shot up to almost 800. I used straight tap (7.5 pH, 170ppm) to adjust since her pH was also measuring 5.3. I adjusted her with this method until she registered 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would prefer for her pH to be a bit higher (5.8, ideally), but I will settle with this for now since the water is back to just touching the basket. Over the last couple days I've been adjusting her LST to help her bush up as much as possible. I can already see the heavy Sativa influence in her compared to her sister in the tent. I can't wait to see what she will throw at me. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 650ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. La alegria que se palpita es mucha! Siempre soñe con tener cogollos oscuros y esta es la primera vez! Es notable la diferencia entre la planta fertilizada con namaste y la de feeding, aunque con este solo utilize el Grow y el Booster. Esta ultima tiene un aroma mas plano, sutil, pero gana en volumen. En cambio con la que utilize namaste destaca mas la precencia de ese aroma como a frutos del bosque, dulce y terroso. A comienzos de pre flora aparecieron unos gusanos verdes que se multiplican muy rápido. La mayoria la elimine a mano, pero lo ideal es utilizar jabon potasico + Aceite de neem para eliminarlos inmediatamente.
