This week we have suffered a few problems with the baby my friend was minding them while I was on holiday and he over watered the girl a little too much by the looks of it and advice I was given by fellow growmies but after 3-4 days no water she was looking better And straightened up and looking a lot healthier and better but we do seem to be growing slow any advice from you growmies would be great thanks also when should I start using bat guano

This week has been wonderful, she's really coming into form and I'm loving the structure of this tester! She responded very well to the simpro bloom formula and I'm really excited to see this grow through! Hoping for something similar to the cream cookies from last grow! 10/07/2020 Going to be rooting up a clone this week. 10/10/2020 3 days in and she is perking up some. Fingers crossed for quick rooting! Lights are on 24 hours 3 way switch on low 12 hours, and high for 12 hours. I will veg on 18 hours for 2 weeks once roots appear, and 2 weeks on 16 hours. On week 5 hope to switch to flower schedule of 11 hours of light and 13 dark. I want to see her tropical side! 10/16/2020 If it has been 19 days since cut taken, she looks pretty good, this week I am starting Grow, Micro, Bloom at seedling and cutting strength. Should see root development soon. And then move to 12 liter DWC bucket. And then we will start the clock on veg! (These past 19 days are rooting time)

*ADVISE NEEDED* The day before yesterday I discovered a huge error in my system. I placed filter material in the feed-throughs of the breeding boxes. This is to prevent the roots from growing together over time. However, what I caused with that is very difficult to explain. The bottom line is that the distribution of food and circulation was actually not good at all. This also explained the differences in the water temperature, but also PH and EC values. That is now completely under control because it now runs stably for 2 days. However, you can see that the records have had a bad start. I am thinking about starting over. Week 3. Week 2 was looking for the correct settings for my system. I found out that the temperature in the bins is quite different. When I set the water chiller to 19 degrees, it all flows fine into the first container. There it rises about 0.5 degrees per bin. The margin of the chiller is about 1 degrees, causing too many fluctuations in the system, with tray 1 becoming too cold and the last one too cold. I solved this by shielding the box at the inlet of the tent with heat-protective foil. I also put a fan on the water chiller. If that catches on, the entire loft heats up, whith more fluctiations. However, I have enough space to measure very precisely and I am getting more and more control. I think the brown leaves were the cause of much too hot water. Since I have the water temperature under control, I see that the new leaves are growing nicely. Moreover, since yesterday (13-5) I received the nutrition. 10 days late. I just finish the root scheme I think. That is still 3 days a 70 mm per day combined with BioBizz Heaven. I tried to take some pictures of the roots and some close ups. I hold the lid with my left hand and with my right hand I try to take a picture zoomed in (max). While the wind makes the roots dance past my lens😵 Something different than usual ... Hope you like it. If you see something that needs to be addressed, let us know. It is my first breeding so there will undoubtedly go wrong. Also, a new LST technique I’m trying. First, am PHing everything. The RO water that I use is 7 or above. Not ideal and has caused some nutrient lockout. Second, lowered the light Much closer. At 100% power, my light is best for veg at 24” and for flower at 18”. The light was at around 36” or more from the canopy. Third, I put a weakass fan drawing air down a 2 1/2“ pipe from the top of the grow closet to about 6-8” above the floor. Meant to recycle some of the warm air. Have seen instant results. It is actually easier keeping the environment consistent. My overnight temp is now 20-22C and daytime is 27-25C. Only a 5 degree difference. Have started making tea from Gaia fertilizer, seaweed extract, Epsom salts and Molasses. PH 6.2-6.8. Feeding every second watering.

2024/01/13 : not much new here... the height is about 8 cm now, very slow grow. Temps were too low so I added a flat 250W radiant heater and with DLI set to 20 now, it's about 24°C by day and 23°C by night : much better for vegetation! I water every 2 or 3 days with 1 L (about 300 mL runoff) and alternate elycitor/molasses. Anyway, the seedling is now a plant so I made a quick video to celebrate! 2024/01/16 : it seems blueberry liked the hotter temp, buying this flat heater was best thing i've done this run... The height is 10 cm now and 4th node is here. I'm waiting for the 5th one to top it. I checked runoff pH and found 6.78, hoping it's OK.
