Top dressed Asman and Asal with a tablespoon of Dr. Earth Bloom and 3 tbs of worm castings. Added terpinator, microbials and molasses to calmag'd water. Benesh got fed last week with the same load/mix and is doing great. No defoliation or much training early this week. Did some heavier defoliation on Sunday to give more of the bigger and higher buds space. Will make a TCHA tincture off of the defoliated buds, which I will add to later. Lovely mint and chocolate aromas on my fingers after the defoliation.

After germinating the seeds are transplanted into small pots with soil (see tutorial in VIDEO above). The soil is prepared with water mixed with a little bit of BIO NOVA Roots (0,5 ml/l), which aids the development of the seedling. Transplanting is very easy now, because they have grown a STRAIGHT tap-root while hanging during the SERIOUS' WAY of germination. This straight root allows for easy potting of the seeds. Simply make a little hole in the center of the soil with your pinky finger and carefully place the germinated seed with the white root pointing DOWNWARDS into the hole. Best is to lay it onto one side-wall of the hole with the seed shell right at the surface. Then I push the other side inwards and enclose the whole root with soil. At the end only the top of the seed-shell peeks out of the soil. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT to plant the seeds NOT TO DEEP into the soil. The seedling only needs extra strength to work itself upwards thru the soil and you run the risk of the soil drying out and the seed dying off. When you PLANT THE SEED VERY SHALLOW into the soil (=with the top of the seed-shell still peeking out) your seedling can grow out right away and you have a small plant already 24 hours after putting the seed into the soil. The small seedling sometimes still has the seed-shell on its 'head', it normally falls off by itself, but sometimes you have to carefully help and take it off with your finger nails. Be careful to NOT clip of the seedling accidentally when you do this! The seed-shall has an inner lining, which feeds the small seedling when it germinates. This inner lining sometimes gets tangled around the stem of the small seedling after the shell has fallen off. This little skin MUST be taken off the stem right away! Once it dries up, it gets hard and can strangulate the seedling around the stem. In order to avoid this, the skin must be taken off as soon as possible! I show it in the pics above and also made a video about taking off the inner lining of the seed.

These are the last moments of veg, soon switching to flowering 💪

The cultivation was very easy and relaxed. I just watched the insanely fast growth and did LTS. 😄 But by my mistake, the plants received a small nutrient burn, at the moment when the plants were at the end of the peak of maturation. This did not do much damage to the plants, but after that the plants were watered with clean water and washed with FlashClean. The inflorescences are dense and have a large number of trichome crystals 👌

Whoops.. Lol.. Forgot to update at the beginning of the week also.. But here is what I got... Mid week.. She is doing good.. I defoliated a little toward the end of last week.. She kinda looked like shit, but about 2 - 3 days after she filled herself in nicely.. I flipped to 12/12 also.. Not counting flower weeks till the actually flowers have began forming.. Makes more sense, if you ask me.. End of week.. Not much to report on.. She has popped out a few calyxes and pistils.. Not many yet.. This next week she should start stretching! This is going to be a very interesting grow for sure... On to the next!!!...

The plant is absorbing the last nutrients and coming to her end,beautiful strain if you love the dutch classics ❤️

I thought the ladies would have another 2-3 weeks left in veg, but started to notice pistils forming within the last couple of days. So flower will most likely start to begin within the next week, I’m guessing I may see a couple oz per plant come harvest day. Not bad for first time grow & using autos, from what I’ve heard a lot of people do not recommend learning with autos due to how quickly their state can change depending on what you do with them. There are some things I wish now I would have done a bit different within the last couple of weeks, I can’t help but wonder how much bigger they’d be if I did not do any defoliation at all. But I have been combating flies bad and made the call to defoliate mainly for that reason. Started to cut back on veg foods and introduce flower foods and sugars to their diet. Humidity levels still at a steady decrease, aiming to have humidity down in the 30s come flower time. Will be going on vacation for a week soon, so fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong. Will be having a good friend of mine come by every couple of days to FaceTime me and make sure everything is handled as well as possible when the time comes.

Growing nicely. Not the tallest, not the shortest just somewhere in the middle. Looking healthy & happy. I've read great reviews on this strain, I hope it lives up to it.

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 we had clear skies sunshine. Temperatures were in the low 80's. Day 2 we had partly cloudy skies, low humidity, and temps in the lower 80's. I watered about 1.25 gallons per pot. Day 3 we had lite showers in the morning, partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 80's the remainder of the day. Day 4 we had showers in the early morning until afternoon. Then it was mostly sunny with high temperature around 79. Day 5 we had lots of sunshine and temperatures in the low 80's. I watered about a gallon out of the water hose. Day 6 it was mostly sunny with temperatures reaching 82°. The pots are drying out fast. Today I watered about 1.5-2 gallons of well water from the hose. I added 50mo ferrous sulfate top dressed to each pot. Day 7 we had thunderstorms, rain, and drizzle early morning and intermittently throughout the day. Temperatures were upper 70's. This week was a success. The plants on average grew 12" in height. The excessive rain hasn't been a problem and they are thriving. The only issue is the rain is washing the iron out. This caused some mild chlorosis in the new growth. I added a little iron to each pot and that'll fix it once they start picking it up. I've decided to let these grow naturally after the topping.

Hey hey ! I left my girls during 4 days without watering due a hospitalization ! I discovered this girl like this when I opened the room and she exploded !! Day 3 : floweeeers comin ! Day 6: little defoliation and 🍭 lollipop on this girl : she’s clean now !

Week 4 - 01/22 to 01/28 2021 Pictures from Days 25 + 26 TRANSPLANTED! Might have waited too long but hopefully the transplant and LST stress might slow the plant down since i think it's already flipping to flower like the other @SweetSeeds Dark Devil Auto and the Purple Lemonade from @FastBuds. I think the Red Poison might have been the first one I noticed to flip but at least this one will be quick. More and more reasons to go back to a photoperiod grow after this for more control/really test out the new lights 🙌 Ended up more 50/50 ratio of Destiny Organic's Dark Matter Living Soil + ProMixHP since I had to make the Destiny last. Apparently they went out of business just after I decided it was my favourite/new soil :( Would rather stay away from Ocean Floor since I haven't had the best experiences with it (bugs/rust fungus etc) Feel free to drop some recommendations other than Fox Farms below 👍 The Red Poison Auto is going strong other wise, keeping the LST basic to see if I can still get the screen in the tent but it wouldn't be practical at this point. I raised the @ViparSpectraLED P1500 another eight inches after transplant and started basic LST. I really wanted to get these four under a ScrOG but if 3/4 are already flipping and the LSD is still runty I might have to wait it out again. Just like the Dark Devil in my other Sweet Seeds diary, there is a solid smell on the fingers after adjusting it/when the fan hit it just right 😍 I have the @MarsHydroLED TSL2000 set up and ready to go once the girls settle into their new pots. Have the new surge protector/heavy duty power cords/power tool grade timers as mentioned in Week 3. Some of it shown in the pictures. Another smooth week for everyone but the twisted helix. This plant gets the award for the most unhappy plant I have ever grown. The leaves are dying off fast and she isn't looking good. Just trying to keep her alive long enough to make hash out of her. Sugar Cane buds are pretty small compared to the others but she's full of trichomes and still has some time to put on weight. Jack Herer has a super strong lemony aroma. Everyone is still stacking up. Not seeing any swelling yet so we still have some time before they think about finishing up. I put the dehumidifier in the room this week. Hoping to start getting these girls chopped and trimmed in the next few weeks, but have to let them do what they do.
