Yo yo yo! Day 8 Evening fellow growers, a new week is here and these little ladies seem to be doing just fine. Watered today just hoping for some growth this week. Happy with how they are progressing. ✌️ Day 11, gone to 18/6 DLI is 34. Watered with plain water tonight. ✌️ Day14, happy with how these girls are progressing, some good growth this week. Watered last night. Guys, I haven't done anything this week 🤦🏻‍♂️ but i made a lot of content I had a lot of other things to do, so I didn't touch the girls and gave them complete freedom - they turned out to be whores and got very loose 😂 This weekend I'm taking the girls to the salon, we'll do a new haircut and then I'll give them 12 hours of rest 💚☘️🥦💕❤️😍

Week 2 – Still tiny Not much going on yet – she's still really small. Growth is good and she looks healthy so far. Just starting to show her second set of true leaves. No signs of stretching or stress, just taking her time. Hopefully she picks up momentum in the next few days. Sometimes the slow starters end up surprising you later on

Désolé mais pendant plusieurs jour je n arrivé plus à charger mon journal ? Bref dernière arrosage avec nutriments ;) on y arrive tous doucement . Autrement j ai eu un petit départ de bud rot sur la melon gum (rien de méchant 2 calices coincé entre 3 immense têtes ;) j ai donc enlever les 2 têtes et désinfecté aux mieux (les 2 têtes n avez rien j ai donc pu les goûter hier soir et j doit dire l effet est vraiment sympa ;)

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Auto Northern Dragon Fuel is growing good. She is starting to go into a bulking phase. I defoliated her today to thin her out some more. I have been a little heavy on nitrogen in my feed. I am gonna cut back on it greatly as she bulks. Too much causes cola development issues. Beside that everything has been going well. 🌿 Once again, we had very sunny days this week 🌞🌞🌞and another heat wave is coming 😍😍😍 Fourth week of Light Deprivation 👉👉👉👉Every morning at 8:30 am I move the plants to the greenhouse. 👉👉👉👉Every evening at 8:30 pm I move the plants (together with some other strains) inside the growroom (which I don't use in the summer) The plants are making new flowers everyday and they are starting to smell now. Plant #3 (last photos) has beautiful pink pistils 🌷🌷🌷 👉 I give the plants every other day a liquid booster with OPF 4:2:8 ; Fulvic 25 ; Yuccah ; Biovin liquid ; Earthworm compost extract. i accidently bought some unbuffered coco and mixed it with my ussual earth, had major calmag problems in mid-flower but i´m still pleased with the results...also had a little trouble with mold at the end due to bad weather and high humidity in the final weeks of the grow, had to remove a few buds and harvest early @ day 55 of flower....but there's still alot of great looking buds left for me to enjoy and all look mostly done... Just harvested and hung them upside down, currently drying them at constant 19.5-20.5°C and 50-60% RH..will update as soon as they are dry

At the end of week 8 the blackberry cake feminised is doing well as the bud formation tightens and the stigmas fade, leaves paled it’s looking like the end is nigh. All of her energy is being used to complete the bloom. The try chromes glistening over the flowers are mostly milky. The blackberry cake feminised stalk is beginning to dull/decay. In the last stage of defoliation she will be flushed thoroughly for the last two weeks. She stands at 67cm tall.

Plants looking good they have a light smell plant 1 is developing slower than plant two. Plant 2’s bud are very dense!!! Still a few weeks to go

Another week gone for this plant and she’s took really well to the training implemented last week. Knuckled both of the main branches last week and kept the biggest branch tied down ans as you can see she’s shooting up from doing so. Should get few more tops now and bush out. She’s come on lovely these past few weeks after mowing munched on by slugs and I personally didn’t think would recover from it but I was so wrong! Ones she gets strong again from the knuckling I will tie all heads down to get more light into the middle. Next time down will give her some bio grow but this week shes had plenty of rain. Been ate a little by slugs so put some copper tape around stem to help keep them off. That’s all this week happy growing 🌱
