Hello growmies! Welcome to week five of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! The girls are all at different early flowering stages, but they are only days apart from each other. I have a bit of a quandary now though, as I am no longer following the nutrient schedule as these plants are too fast for it. So I am unsure whether to start PK warrior or not yet. I have also realised I have probably underfed them in the last week or so, which to be honest isn't a big deal for me right now as they are already waaaaaaaaaaay bigger than expected. Let's talk about that a moment. This strain has an average height of 50-70cm. I wonder if those numbers were for soil grows? It seems for coco you will get even bigger plants. Case in point these six girls measured at 3pm 24/7 day 30 as follows: Plant 1: 111cm Plant 2: 99cm Plant 3: 90cm Plant 4: 89cm Plant 5: 85cm Plant 6: 84cm Plant 3 appears to have stopped stretching and is the most advanced into flower. Plant 4 is right behind it and has slowed down but not yet stopped stretching. Plant 2 is next in terms of flowering development her stretch is slowing. Plant 5 is still stretching rapidly and is coming to the end of preflower. No concern really at 85cm she has some room yet. Plant 6 is still stretching rapidly and is still in preflower. Slightly concerned despite her 84cm stature as she has been the most beefy looking plant all along, so I am expecting her to grow a good bit more. Plant 1 is still stretching rapidly and is still in preflower. Extremely very concerned about this one. The light is about as high as it can go. 111cm!! I have scoured the internet and the tallest Epsilon F1 I have found was 95cm. It's great that she is so happy this plant, but if she gets much taller I'm going to have to super crop her main cola. Whatever happens I am starting to dream of smashing my yield target out of the park, these girls are all impressive. Hard to believe they are just 30 days old. Daily Updates: ### Week 5 Day 2 15:00 24/7 Photographed. ### Week 5 Day 2 23:30 24/7 fertigated 1.6l and updated nutrient schedule for the week ### Week 5 Day 3 20:00 25/7 took a short video ### Week 5 Day 4 05:00 26/7 photographed ### Week 5 Day 4 18:00 26/7 Measured (brace yourself). Plant 1: 126cm Plant 2: 107cm Plant 3: 93cm Plant 4: 94cm Plant 5: 97cm Plant 6: 96cm Plants 3 and 4 have stopped stretching now and are fully into flower. At 93cm and 94cm respectively, by the end of flower these girls may hit 1m but they wont go much more than that. Plant 2 looks to have just about stopped as well. It might go another 10cm overall. Plant 5 is still stretching but I think not much more. Plant 6 is still stretching and I am still expecting quite a bit of growth from her. Then there is plant 1. 126cm and still stretching. It has now grown beyond the height of the light. I hope it can somehow finish itself before it hits the top of the tent. I mean the secondary colas are over 1m already. It is a great shame this giant plant doesn't have more horizontal space to itself, either way it is absolutely shocking to see. I really do not want to super crop her, but am out of options. This grow, incidentally, constitutes the first and last time that I let any indoor cannabis plant go untrained. With basically 4 x 4 x 4 of usable space, training my plants is not really optional - and now you can all see why. This "50-70cm" strain has rapidly outgrown my space. RQS it may be time to revisit the height claims on this strain. Just saying. ### Week 5 Day 6 01:00 28/7 Rearranged the tent and photographed. I have been regularly rotating the plants and periodically moving them around. My problem is now plant one has already hit the top of the tent and there is no easy way to give it anymore space... still not sure what I am supposed to do but it's fine for now... tried to capture the problem with the photos. As well as plant 1, plant 6 looks like it's going to keep going for a good bit yet, and plant 2 is still putting a bit of height on. I took plenty of photos today to try and capture the essence of the jungle. It is quite unbelievable what these plants have done. I just cannot stop looking at them, they are magnificent. I have not fed for 4 days, will probably feed later I am just trying to slow them down a bit by not feeding them. It doesn't seem to be working. ### Week 5 Day 6 23:00 28/7 Defoliated heavily all plants. Fertigated 2l each. Removed some more lower side growth off the smallest plant (plant 3) to make space. Might leave it a few days before I photograph again. Plants 2, 3, and 4 are all well into flowering now, plant 5 is not far behind them, but plants 1 and 6 are still in preflower. :( What is really remarkable right now is the difference in colour between the plants further into flower vs the plants still in preflower. Have had some challenges this week. In my lack of experience, I have struggle to discern whether my plant is deficient in nutrients, suffering lockout or approaching harvest. Symptoms were yellowing leaves... The cause of which can be, of course, many different things. I decided to flush last week, thinking that a nutrient lockout was most likely. Leaves less yellow this week so think it may have done the trick. I have spent some time researching and considering flushing as a technique to improve final bud quality. I have decided that there simply isn't enough evidence to deny my girl of nutrients at a critical phase of her growth. I am therefore continuing a reduced feeding schedule of - 1mls topmax - 2mls BioBloom - 1 scoop biosys ecothrive - 2.5mls Cannazym. And, unless indicated otherwise, will continue with this schedule up until harvest. Today I have tested PPM of the run off and measure it to be approx 1050ppm. I will measure again in 24 hours to monitor change after a feed. Purchased a 60x microscope and am able to see that 90% of trichomes are still clear. I am therefore anticipating at least another couple of weeks before harvest. Buds look fluffier than I'd like, but resin and trichome production haven't disappointed. I'm hoping that over the next few weeks the buds will continue to fatten. 19/11/2021 - Day 79. Have a few days off so have managed to catch some photos in day light. Have also uploaded a video. Feel that she isn't particularly happy... But on the other hand, she is showing the resistance and ability to adapt to less than ideal growing conditions; as promised by the strain genetics. Plenty of trichs, plenty of resin, plenty of buds. Just need them to fatten and fill out for maximum yield and quality. 23/11/21 - Day 83 - Still some deficiencies but she doesn't seem to be using much water so reluctant to feed at risk of overwatering. Noticing lots of new pistil formation. Looking frosty, but all trichomes still clear. Temperatures dropping to around 2°c overnight here. Managing to maintain temperatures around 10°c in the shed. Appreciate that this is too cold for growth but she seems to be coping with it well. I think that a gradual reduction in temperature has been tolerated better than fluctuant or sudden drops would be. Fingers crossed that her hardy nature keeps her strong. Fed today: 1mls BioBloom 2mls Topmax Half scoop Biosys Ecothrive Filtered water - pH 6.5, TDS 320 Run off 953 TDS 29/11/21 - Day 90 - no sign of any amber yet. Still mostly clear with a splattering of cloudy. Really worrying about the night time temps now and holding out hope that it doesn't die off before the trichomes mature.

Aquí ya en mi 8va semana después de cambiarlas a unas macetas más grandes de un aproximado de 15 litros. Bueno, se preguntarán dónde está la tercera si eran tres y ahí se ven dos. Resulta que se murió, aconsejo de mantener lejos a tus gatos. Sí, mi gato macho orinó en su sustrato (aconsejo siempre mantener limpio su arenero para que no busque otros lugares donde orina) y pese de hacerle su lavado de raíces y cambio de sustrato, no sobrevivió. Aquí fue la única vez hasta ahora que pasó algo así. Hasta ahora sigo renegando con el gato, pero bueno no es culpa de ellos, sino de uno mismo. Hay que ser más precavidos. Buenos humos!

Sorry about the delay of 11 days work life and sadness from the breeding tent has made me a bit discouraged but we over that shit now what will be will be. But a lot can happen with auto flowers in 11 days boy did she stretch

Aufgrund ihrer Größe sind sie sehr nah an der lampe dran und haben dementsprechend auch verbrennungen.Ich habe sie nun etwas höher gehangen.P3 hat schon weiße Härchen gezeigt und ich weiß nicht ob sie nun schon beginnt mit Blühen. Ich habe sie heute mal in die sonne gestellt,doch das haben P1 und P4 nicht so gut vertragen.Von P3 ist bereits der Steckling angewurzelt,somit kann ich die Mutterpflanze in den nächsten Tagen in die Blüte schicken.

SOOOOO sorry guys!! I’ve been slacking on this diary ive been doing so much work on the new grow room and been pretty busy with this beautiful harvest I just chopped 😍 Buttt The WET BETTIES have been doing amazing you can totally tell the difference in the pheno’s 2 of the girls are growing super tall and lengthy while the other 4 are staying short and bushy! About 2 and a half weeks ago I topped them and kept doing so until I had about 16 top sights I’ve been letting them grow after that so those tops can turn to colas ! This is the last week or so of Veg for these girls before turning to flower and getting to see those beautiful buds from this exotic strain! I’ll be moving them into 5 gallon fabric pots this weekend so they have all the room they need to stretch out their little roots. I’m super excited and can’t wait to show you guys the next batch of seeds we’re growing!! #GarciasGarden @exoticgenetix P.S. Light Power: 60% If you're going to stress, do it right. So I repotted the little one and topped it. Every other day I sprayed and watered with fresh LAB. I store the LAB in the refrigerator for over a week and dilute it before use. Thanks to budtrainers, your budcups work great. Day 20 Photoshooting Repotting Topping

Planted them into 20L hydroponic pots. Diy hydroponic system. Very easy to do and save money. Topped them so the lower branches can keep up with higeher ones. Defoliated lower ones. They didnt get any light. Planning to keep them for two weeks in this water. Advanced nutrients recommend one week but lets see.

Big week! I got my new EarthBoxes and a bunch of goodies. I picked up the Probiotic Farmer's Alliance kit from BuildASoil, so I also got some EM-1, Kashi Blend, dolomite lime and Malibu compost. Alongside that I picked up Colorado Worm Compost (vermicompost), Gnarley Barley (malted barley, corn and hemp) and Craft Blend (aprox 3-5-2 organic mix). Unfortunately there was a bag of soil missing, so I ended up using my own mix though I am somewhat scared of it being too clay-heavy for the SIP. I inoculated with EM-1 and began fermenting a batch of activated EM-1 to make the bottle last longer. It looks about a week from LST, after that I hope to set up a two-tier SCROG setup and begin growing the bushes. I will begin spraying AEM-1/EM-FPE/EM-5 alternatively once a week for IPM, I will try to avoid using neem this round (unless I find this approach lacking). I also brewed a batch of EM-FPE with aloe that smells incredible, I can't wait to give it a go.

Muy buenas mi gentee. Otra semanita más por aquí, ya en la semana 5 de crecimiento. Y se puede observar como va bastante bien, con buena estructura, buen color y buena ramificación. Se le están dando riegos semanales con bioestimulantes de The hype company y aparte dos riegos de agua más semanales. La temperatura la estamos empezando a subir, para esta semana cambiala a maceta final y pasarla a floración. Así que veremos cómo sigue la próxima.

Welllllllllllllll last week of nutrients next two weeks will be watering with king crab molasses and flawless finish also cut down that early finished she just stinks so sweet lol so that will hang for a week or more !!! Going to start another grow this week which willl consist of Runtz Muffin again Sugar bomb punch , alien rock candy bruce banger Gelato O.g contemplating buying another 5x5 tent willl see what happens happy growing

Stardawg is beatiful.. I’ve grown it in the past and the plant was way smaller.. I think it will be the most yielding plant of this run and looks like may be the best taste too.. I finally managed to move however humidity is pretty high in my new place.. I am trying to put it down, hopefully it will work..

Moin Moin, Ihr Lieben die Woche verlief babamäßig, die Pflanzen machen sich top, den Buds kann man jeden Tag beim Wachsen zusehen. Auch die Pflanze draußen macht sich trotz dem Rotzwetter sehr gut! Zwar sehen die Buds jetzt nicht so dick aus wie im Zelt, aber sieht finde ich gesund aus und sehr dekorativ 👀😂 Nächste Woche soll’s mit dem Wetter auch besser werden, drücken wir die Daumen 👍🏻
