I was afraid of finding a lot of budrot, luckily it was only the one cola. The buds are very frosty, the bottom at the base of the branch looks a bit brownish on some buds, i inspected it with a microscope and didnt find any mold or weird things. There are a lot of amber trichomes tho. I think that's why it looks brown like that. It smells and smokes good, so i think its fine. If someone thinks otherwise, let me know! End results: Buds: 92 Grams Small Buds: 18 Grams Trim: 16.7 Grams Total weight of the buds: 110 Grams. I calculated that i used a total of 72.3 watts this grow, that makes it 1.52 grams per watt! Very happy with the end results, and its by far my personal record hahaha.

Week went well, had a few bug issues that resulted in using a sulphur based pesticide to get rid of spidermite issue that has haunted my grow space for a couple of years. Used only one application to get rid of mites this week, let the application sit on plant for 5 hours before taking outside and rinsing plant off with hose. Edit: 2nd plant was a white rhino seed from my indoor grow but turned out male.

I have been very busy over the last week so I haven't had much time to do any documentation. There isn't much going on at the moment so you aren't missing out on much. There have been a couple of leaves on this plant showing some strange markings. Nothing that is uniform nor reoccurring. I think these defects I show in the video are localized to just two or three leaves so I am not too concerned at the moment. I will keep an eye on her for the time being. Other than that, the plant looks really happy and is growing very well. Good color all around and getting very bushy.

Back to feeding for the first time since transplanting, took a good part of a week to dry out proper so I have some nasty chlorosis/necrosis to bounce back from hopefully soon now back on feeding. On the plus side the toppings are going well hope to do a second time this grow. First Week i was trying out HPS lights both at 125w but capable of 400w, which i later Switched to two grow the jungle Jackson nemesis 250w not 200w as it said couldnt find the right model to put in. They got Regular water because i was still waiting for most of the equipment. I germinated 10seeds 5 of each and every one germinated pretty fast bout 12to20h.

09/06/2018 She has grow a little😀 bit,going to 1/2 strength nutes in res change today. Can't believe how thick her stem is! Had slight leaf tip burn from ferts but not enough to be concerned about. Started week with 9 liters in DWC bucket. Will top as needed with plain water. . Note: remember rinse hydroton! 09/10/2018 Getting nice growth this week,a little more leaf tip burn,but not excessive amount,also I topped her today I believe that I will go to 3/4strength next change and full strength for flowering.which is when I bring red spectrum up to 100%.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Starting off week 7. Gotta love the holidays! Good to catch up with family, but sucks when you can't get time to water. Water deprived 2 more times this week. Also had several bleached buds on various plants and my favorite light was now done with the other tent, so swapped it over now. led. Spaectra has much better even par distribution than my king leds. Got about a month or so to go. Still not bad given the neglect and over use of light they've recieved over last couple weeks. Hoping to get everything dialed back in for the remaining month.
