Day 56: Merry Christmas everyone. Today It seems the K deficency symptoms aren't getting any worse and a few of the smaller and less effected leaves are returning to green already! I guess the other leaves will take time IF they go green at all by the end of the grow. The flowers have swollen again so even though there was a deficiency she doesn't seem to have slowed down too much. Score one for having loads of leaf mass I guess! I'm going to monitor her closely today and tomorrow, he pot is still very wet and humic acid helps soil hold onto water so it may be another 24 hours before she needs watering at least! But I think a water with no nutes will be fine this time. The overall plant has taken on a healthy shade of green, it's just the parts that had gone pale from the k def that are still the wrong colour, hopefully these will gain a healthier green over the day / tomorrow, I think 1 more week and she'll be ready to defoliate and head into the flush stage. Looks like it might be a satisfying first harvest! Day 57: It doesn't look it so much from the pictures, but today the plant is looking a much healthier shade of green, in the leaves in the central mass we still have some leaves that aren't fully green because they were hidden in the depths of the plant. Today I did some very light LST just to pull the flowers out slightly further, I noticed there's a lot of buds on some of the stems and I've tried to expose the light as deep into the light as possible, in about 1/2 weeks I'll defoliate again and try and expose more of the lower down flowers to the light, today I simply tidied up the base of the plant and exposed the main stem base to more airflow, I think the stalk is looking healthy, I've never seen a healthy stalk before but there's a white film that I recognise from being the skin earlier on, raised the grow question to be sure I also trimmed off some tiny flowers near the base of the plant, they were never going to reach anything significant and I understand taking these smaller flowers can stress the plant in the right way to grow the rest bigger, So today I took 3 flowers that weren't even going to be larf by the end. As well as exposing more of each tops stem to more light I hope to stimulate growth along some of the stems that look like they'll produce a good amount of popcorn buds

Day 48 - defoliation rotate plants and fed with 1.5l each @6.5 ph Day 51 - more defoliation , rotated plants again and gave 1.5l @6ph full week 2 nutes Day 53 - doing some testing here I again gave another full nutes with this feeding to see when it starts showing some nute burn. gave each plant 1.5l each full week 2 nutes @5.8ph

Genetics = Too much GAK (TMZ(Candy Fumez x Zkittles) x Sour GAK) from Bloom Genetics Pheno 1 Terps are very much Candy Fumez u get a nice blend of the Z and Sherbanger terps. 45-90u Doublebagged in 35 and 120u Graveda bags Pressed first at 75°C and a 2nd time at 80°C. First press was 5,65g and 2nd press was 0,5 which i dabbed right away. Makes it a ~1,2% return on the lower quality. I entered with 7,65g icolator so it translated 80% or 6,15g rosin. 90-160u Doublebagged in 2 x 20u Rosin Evolution bags. Pressed first at 75°C and a 2nd time at 80°C. First press was 4g like i hoped for and 2nd press was only 0,2 which i dabbed right away and had really nice high. Started with 5,35g icolator and got 79% or 4,2g rosin.Makes premium quality return ~0,8% from fresh frozen, which makes the tmg#1 return roughly 2% in total. Terps on the 90-160u are more subtle for now, but maybe that means i dont lose all the terps curing. Keeping it in the fridge and will only whip when it butters up. Pheno 3 Terps are also very Candy Fumez heavy, but more gas than the first pheno. She also dropped almost no 90-160u, so i mixed it with the 45-90u and made a full spectrum 45-160u. Doublebagged in 2 x 20u Rosin Evolution bags. Pressed first time at 75°C and 2nd time at 80°C. First press dropped 12g and 2nd press 1,5g. Started with 15,36g Icolator wich i pressed to 13,5g or 88% rosin. I also got 0,9g melt left over in a Jar wich melted away completely. Got 2,94% rosin from wet flower, which would be very good for me, but i am a little sad i only got 45-90u trichomes.

Got hydro halos setup because I need to be able to go away for work for a few nights, Was actually really easy to setup and works awesome, I got most the parts plus all my nutes from my local hydro store. I'm using cocoforcannabis.com as a guide for most of this grow and his site includes details on how to setup an auto watering system. At this point I'm still using Professors Go Green for cal-mag and following the GP3 feed chart to mix nutes to the right ratio and then diluting with cal-mag water to target EC (300-400EC for wk 1). Some of the plants had clawing leaves and were really dark green - I read that this could be caused by nitrogen toxicity and I'm concerned this may be due to the Go Green as it seems to be intended as more of a deficiency fix rather than a regular use cal-mag supplement for coco. Some of the leaves on one of the plants started getting rust spots like calcium deficiency, Canna Coco comes pre-buffered and I was adding Go Green so it had plenty, I think the likely case is that nitrogen toxicity may be blocking calcium intake also. I intend to change to Green Planets Pro-Cal which has low nitrogen and is made to work with their line of nutes. Also we named the girls! My roommate and I were pretty baked if you can't tell...

Week 16 - Day 103 08/16: Harvested Aaliyah on 08/15, Day 102 from soil and Day of flowering. After one week of pure water for Aaliyah, some of the trichomes have turned amber. I decided to harvest about 3/4 of the plant. Some of the lower buds didn’t receive enough light during the grow, so I’m hoping they can grow a little more before I bring the whole plant down. I also removed some of the dead and very young growth that was coming up. I didn’t have another spot to hang the buds because of the smell, so I tied them over the other plants. Now that she is mostly harvested, the smell has increased. I now have Annie on the side so she is getting less direct light. She already took some bleaching on her main colas. Alexis still has about a week left. I’ll check her trichomes before the next watering to see if I should start flushing. 08/18: Aaliyah’s harvested buds were getting close to being dry, so I decided to start cleaning up some of the sugar leaves. The smaller, less developed buds got chopped up and set aside for some dry ice hash. Since she was on the left side of the tent, a lot of her colas did not receive enough direct light. I hung up a few of the nicer looking ones that I’m keeping as flower to finish drying. [General notes: I still don’t have a scale to take note of the exact wet weight, but I’ll make sure to have one for the dry weight. And since all three plants are of the same strain, I’m going to wait till the last one is chopped up before posting the full harvesting results.]

These plants are getting huge!!! I supercropped em down tonight and gave em a full blast of feed! I'm trying to keep leaves on but i did give them a small trim. they seem to be catching up to each other, I hope they will level out! They are gonna be big plants tho fo sho! Going to transfer tents this week probably. ____________________________________________________________________________ Moved them into the big tent! its snug, but they should be happy! Getting HUGE! ______________________________________________ I felt like they were in all their glory tonight! I got in there and gave em a big ol haircut and pulled out all the lower garbage. With the use of several spacers I really feel like I opened em up nicely and primed em up for some big buds to form. Two plants are def gonna be purple. We'll see about the other 2.

The girls are doing well, more ingredients from advanced nutrients will be added during the week, hopefully everything will go as planned In the middle of the week, I removed the lower leaves and branches that had no potential. I didn't want to remove the leaves but it was necessary, I couldn't water, now there is a nice approach. I'm just worried if it will harm the plants too much, the stems look quite massive, almost like broccoli 😁. Plant no. 3 will also stay in the tent, I originally wanted to grow only two, if space allows, and I will also have to support it, it is still about 15 cm lower than the others. I will at least do a test, plant no. 1 is pinched, no. 2 is not pinched, 3rd is not pinched and in a smaller pot, about 750 ml

24 hrs of darkness begins. amber trichomes are hard to see under certain lights and through glasses, i dumped the glasses and moved each one to a different room and sure as shit "amber trichomes!". I just realized a jewelers lupe with a light works better without looking through reading glasses. 3 yrs of crap harvests and it aint over yet but if i get these dried at 60rh @ 70 deg F for 6-10 days APPPROX! CAREFUL FOR MOULD, and i got the 32 oz jars, belvidas and humidity guages for cure. as long as i can do that right, man things are really looking good. PRINCETON CAN USE A GUY LIKE JOEL! We'll see. I am starting another diary for the 2 gorilla glues that are growing really slow. I was going to dump them but i kept putting it off and slowly the buds started stacking up. I would love to know if this is common with all seed vendors and not just mine and why its happening like this. More important, I GREW BIG POTENT BUDS BY MYSELF!!!!!!! PRETTY HAPPY ABOUT THAT. She is very diesely citrus,musky smell.can smell her at 90". #4 similar smell not as much stink. #3 minty chlorophyll smell. #2 orange,citrusy,mint. Ps. Hello growers and welcome to week 6. I expect Queen Citronella to gain a lot of height this week. I will be doing the measurements shortly, but first I wanted to share some news! Queen Citronella has a new home, she hasn't moved in yet, but I'm working on it today. I will also be rearranging all the other grows and starting some new things off! I am not sure if I have mentioned it anywhere but I am using a 1.2m x 1.2.m x 1.8m tent.. I have just got a 60cm x 60cm x 140cm tent and a 300w LED. Her Majesty I hope will enjoy her new quarters. Day 36: I have lowered the light to 30cm above the tallest plants. Day 37: It is done! Queen Citronella resides in her own palace, while the rest of the plebs squat together in the communal living area. I have reorganised and moved my 4x4, mounting the carbon filter and duct fan properly in the center. Setup a 2 x 2 with a 300w LED and put the lights for both tents on the same timer (for now). I will measure and photograph Her Majesty a little later, including photos of her new home. Day 37: Added media. Height: 31cm. Fertigated 2l. Day 37.5: Alright she is really stretching fast, she grew almost 5cm in a little over 30 hours, A thought has just occurred to me; I could, if I chose to, put the Queen on a flower cycle at this point. Now I did want to do a full grow of clones, however we're talking something like another 2 weeks of veg then 2 weeks for cuttings to root, then I'd want to veg them for a few more weeks, maybe 2, 3 or 4? So that's 6-10 weeks before I start flowering. Then at least ten weeks of flowering, A week to dry, and at least a fortnight to cure. We're talking 20-25 weeks before I get to smoke it, that's six months! I probably wont be able to grow in the summer due to the heat. Now I already have the one cutting which I am hoping will root soon, which I can take forward, but I also have two more seeds. So, regretfully, I think I will change my plans. I will flower queen Citronella, starting on day 43. I still intend to do a full tent of Super Lemon Haze clones, but I think I will postpone that adventure until September. So this is now the final week or final five days of veg, she will spend the bulk of her last week of veg under a different light. We wont get much data on vegging (unless there is a significant change this week) but it'll be a nice trial run flowering with an LED light for the first time. Exciting! I am still waiting for the Epislon F1 seeds from RQS. I set their pot up today, inoculated, fed, and sowed some Dark Opal (Purple) Greek Basil and a liberal sprinkling of chamomile. I am going to germinate all five seeds in jiffy pellets and then put them all in the same 40l Day 38: I have realised Her Majesty was too tall to flower in this little tent so I snapped her neck a bit. I installed a photometer app yesterday and discovered I was blasting Citronella with 75 DLI so I raised to light up until canopy level was 40 DLI. The LED is pretty good. The HPS Dual Spectrum bulb in the main tent must be on its last legs as output was around 40 DLI for optimally positioned plants and 30 least optionally positioned. I could do to buy a new bulb. Identical replacement is about fifteen bucks, best one is about fifty. For that I could get another one of those LEDs which seems like better value. At the moment though I really need the heat. So I am thinking identical replacement. 4 days to flower cycle! Day 38.5: Replaced crappy old Dutch barn reflector with a much nicer angel wing model. Installed a significantly larger carbon filter into the main tent which has significantly increased air flow. The main tent vents into the bottom of Queen Citronella's tent, and from there and unfiltered duct fan in the far top corner exhausts it out. The exhaust pipe goes up the chimney. Why have I reorganised and moved the tents again so soon is because I was wasting power heating the little tent with the LED light, but the main tent has excess heat. Well this setup is working a treat. Citronella is sitting in a balmy 23-24 degree wind tunnel. Check out the little video of the changes. Day 39: I think her majesty likes her new quarters. It's going to be weird seeing her square in a few more days. We are 2 days into a "dry spell" I'm simulating for all my plants. Day 40: Dry spell ended. Fertigated 6l. Day 41: Fertigated 3l. Citronella's penultimate day of veg, she is going 12/12 from lights out after next. Photos taken 10:00 9/2/23. Current lights out is Citronella's last 6 hour night! Day 42: Start: Have performed pre-flower LST, HST, and defoliation. 24 hours to flower cycle. Day 42: End: photographed immediately before first 12h night. End of week summary: Huge week for Citronella. I think this LED light is pretty good. Change of plans regarding the grow and preparing her for flower. Let's see how she does.

🌱 Update 06.08. - Day 15 The third week of growth has begun, and I'm excited to see my Fastberry plant thriving. 🌿 The plant looks healthy, and I'm considering doing some LST (Low-Stress Training) to enhance its shape. However, I'm a bit nervous about possibly damaging it. 😬 This week, I plan to increase the BioBizz Grow slightly to encourage more robust growth. 🌱✨ 🌱 Update 09.08. - Day 18 Today was the second time fertilizing 🌿, this time with 1.1ml per liter of watering water 💧. I gave my Fastberry plant 500ml of water. Prior to that, it hadn't been watered for 2 days 📅, as this strain prefers it on the drier side 🌵. Temperature 🌡️ & humidity 💧 remain stable, averaging 59%, and currently cause no issues for me. The Fastberry plant is growing well and has started to grow taller over the last two days 📈. 🌱 Day 21 - Last Day of Week 3 Today marks the last day of the third week of my grow! This week, I used BioBizz Grow only once with 1ml and watered the Fastberry plant with 500ml, including today's 500ml of water. 💧🌿 Yesterday, I considered waiting another day before watering, making it two days without water.
