Harvesting was needed as she was developing foxtails and no longer bulking. Her trichomes were mature (5% amber, 95% cloudy) and her smell is strong. We pulled out as many sugar leaves as we can and froze them to make some hash later on, as well as hung the flowers for 2 weeks of slow drying. Wish me luck! I didn’t have a scale at the time to measure the wet weight, but I will measure the dry weight after it’s done.

Strain was easy to grow. Had some herms but since I only have 2 plants I was able to pinch the balls off. Buds have no seeds and are a strong smoke. Really hits the lungs.

The increased CO2 allows plants to thrive at higher temperatures, which in turn necessitates higher humidity to maintain the ideal VPD for healthy growth and transpiration. 80F -5F = 75F LST with 70% RH = 0.72 kPa. Higher temperatures and humidity promote rapid growth, nutrient uptake, and photosynthesis while maintaining a lower stress level. Temperature influences the rate of enzymatic reactions involved in aerobic respiration. Enzymes, such as those involved in glycolysis, the Krebs cycle, and the electron transport chain, work most efficiently at an optimal temperature range. In low temperatures, enzymatic activity will slow down, thus reducing the rate of aerobic respiration. Once I understood that water is produced as a by product during cellular respiration, specifically at the very end of the electron transport chain (ETC) where electrons are finally transferred to molecular oxygen, the higher the RH of the air, the more resistance there is for more moisture to be added to that environment, and effects the ease with which it does so. But none of that water comes from the pot; it's pulled from the air. If you run high daytime RH, your medium/pot is 100% reliant on transpirational root pull to move water. ZERO evaporation happens across the atmosphere if the tent air has high RH%, the medium cannot release its water through evaporation. Once a canopy develops, light no longer slowly wicks and evaporates from the topsoil. The Soil-Plant-Atmosphere Continuum (SPAC) describes the continuous pathway and process of water movement, driven by a gradient in water potential, from the soil, through the plant's roots, stem, and leaves, and finally evaporating into the atmosphere through transpiration. There is evaporation, there is transpiration, and then there is evapotranspiration; Evapotranspiration (ET) is the combined total of two processes: evaporation (water lost directly from soil and surface water into the atmosphere) and transpiration (water released from plants to the atmosphere through their leaves). Evapotranspiration represents the total amount of water that moves from the medium into the air. There is no such thing as a medium with too much water, only a medium that retains too much for too long. The water must always flow efficiently from one atmosphere(Medium) to another(Air) in a timely manner. Moisture is a critical factor for bacterial growth and decay. Dictating how long it's allowed to sit in any one location for any given period is a key preferred control. To ensure a net reduction in a bacterial population, the rate of removal (ET) must exceed the rate of bacterial growth (decay rate), which is often modeled as a growth rate for the specific bacterium under the given conditions. By optimizing daytime VPD, we also optimize conditions for bacterial growth to explode exponentially above 77°F.. If water is allowed to sit in a medium without an escape within a timeframe, nothing good will happen. IF High RH is maintained overnight as well as during the day, placing 100% of water movement at the behest of daytime transpiration, roots can only pull where they can reach, and if soil is compressed above a certain point, moisture will become trapped in a medium with no way of moving day or night. This will begin the countdown for decay to take hold. When water stagnates in a medium, it loses oxygen, creating anaerobic conditions that foster the growth of harmful microorganisms like bacteria and fungi, which can produce toxins and disease vectors. Thigmomorphogenesis, the process by which plants respond to mechanical stimuli like touch by altering their growth and development, results in significant morphological changes to improve survival against mechanical perturbations. This complex response involves sensing touch and initiating physiological and genetic responses, leading to changes in form and structure over days or weeks. The process is triggered by physical forces such as wind, rain, or touch. Plants adapt to these stimuli by changing their shape and structure, which may include slower growth, thickened stems, or altered leaf development. Plants possess sophisticated mechanisms to detect even subtle mechanical stimuli and initiate responses. A variety of molecules, including calcium ions, jasmonates, ethylene, and nitric oxide, are involved in signaling these mechanical inputs. Touch can induce the expression of genes that encode proteins for calcium sensing, cell wall modification, and defense mechanisms. A plant exposed to constant wind may become shorter and sturdier. A plant that is touched frequently might grow more slowly to conserve energy and develop thicker cell walls. These changes increase a plant's resilience and ability to survive in harsh environments. Доброго дня Сегодня ровно 124 дня жизни моей девочки и ровно 9 недель как перевел ее на цвет. Последнюю неделю я ей давал Ripen. Поливал каждый день. Влажность немного поднялась за эту неделю, ночью она подала ниже 30%, но днем поднимал порой и до 46%, Все в пределах нормы. Центральные шишки на мой взгляд готовы так 80%-90%, а в от нижние еще не созрели, оцениваю готовность их на 65%-75%. Думаю еще неделю как по плану Не знаю насколько хорошо видно на фотках, но хотелось бы узнать ваше мнение друзья, по поводу зрелости шишек

Going into Harvest with 2 of the plants next week, flush started - these are more Indica - Tri's are mixed cloud and clear. Other 3 plants are clear and getting 1000ppm nutes still.

Day 34 She made through 10 days of having max 300 par so we’re back! Thank you ACI! Added some supp lights and gonna push em through. Still no issues. All 3 BG smell identical but look completely different. The Motorbreath is really Stalin and frostin up. Wish me luck!

Going great trying to train to best suit my grow tent. There will be 3 other strains so I need to make sure they all get enough light. The water volume in the plants is less then what I have in the conditions. More like 2L every two days

Day 30 Feb. 18th- I feel like everything is going great -all plants are now in final 7 gallon containers..have used a lot of soil! -I have been tying the plants down as much as possible -March 2nd will be 42 days and I think that is when I will switch to 12/12 -Day 35 Feb. 24th- I need trellis netting soon I retie branches constantly for inner growth HULKBERRY and GREEN GELATO are growing similar...LSD and ROYAL GORILLA are growing similar! -Very interesting!! * I have color coated the plants like I should have a couple weeks ago -GREEN GELATO has all green pipe cleaners now...HULKBERRY has all yellow pipe cleaners. very long branches and small inner growth LSD is in all purple pipe cleaners. tying it down has done wonders! it has awesome inner growth! Now the ROYAL GORILLA in all orange pipe cleaners! This plant is a pain in the ass lol. The inner growth and spacing is insanely close!!! so many shoots all tightly together. I have tied down anything I can. Unsure how it will work in budding next week

Sherb Biker, starting to crystal. The purples and dsrker hues should begin to appear soon and these buds will swell very big over the, next little bit. Nothing much to report. Decided after reading some articles about using chlorine/bleach as a sterilizing agent. Going to test it out and compare the final product to one finished about 2 months earlier.

Welcome to my second grow of the Blue Dream strain. This girl was veg'd for 14 week in a small pot while my first grow of this strain is in the flowering room. She didn't gain much more in size, despite the extra veg time, probably due to lower levels of nutes and the smaller pot size. Still she's looking good after moving her to the big pot and giving her a trim. Thanks for checking out my grows!

For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought an new one from Amazon. It came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent throughout the day, I would rather finish this run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. She continues filling out her buds and the trichs are starting to form too. Your likes and comments are appreciated.
