Another week has passed, and this time there really wasn’t much to do besides keeping up with the feeding. At this stage, I’m mostly just watching the flowers develop and seeing how much more frost and weight they put on from week to week. The plants are looking beautiful, so for now I’m enjoying the quiet phase and simply watching them do their thing. Sometimes there’s nothing better than just sitting back and enjoying the progress of your plants. Everything is looking good, and I’m really curious to see how these flowers develop over the next few weeks.

Smoothie seems to have quit growing in height and are budding out. Pineapple Express seems to keep growing and bushing out, slow to flower. Sweet gelato is bushing out and began budding this week.

Gave her a cocktail to help with stress. Added 1st net for lateral support, not so much now, but for later. Blue light is absorbed by photoreceptor proteins called phototropins, which trigger a hormonal response that causes cells on the shaded side to elongate, making the plant bend toward the light. Try and fill this side a little. She is quite big already, just needs to find her stride again after the undue torture. The mind is constantly working and producing, just like a factory. Plants can respond to UV stress by increasing the synthesis of xanthophyll cycle pigments, such as violaxanthin and zeaxanthin, to improve their photoprotective capacity. UV-induced changes in xanthophyll cycle pigments can be linked to a plant's overall tolerance to high radiation stress. The xanthophyll cycle helps protect against photoinhibition, which is especially important when the plant is exposed to high levels of both UV and visible light. High doses of UV radiation can directly damage photosynthetic components, including the proteins, lipids, and pigments in the thylakoid membranes. Exposure to UV radiation can have a mixed effect on the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) of the xanthophyll cycle pigments. In some cases, UV can inhibit the conversion of violaxanthin to zeaxanthin, resulting in a lower DEPS ratio and a reduced capacity for energy dissipation. However, the total pool of xanthophyll cycle pigments may increase, and this enhanced pool size could provide a greater potential for photoprotection despite a lower DEPS ratio. The xanthophyll cycle works alongside other mechanisms, such as the accumulation of flavonoids (UV screens), to protect the plant from UV-induced damage. Blue light repairs 100% UV-induced damage in plants through a process called photoreactivation, which uses a light-dependent enzyme called photolyase. This enzyme uses energy from blue and UV-A light to directly reverse the damaging pyrimidine dimers in the DNA caused by UV-B radiation, a key mechanism for maintaining the plant's genetic integrity. After carbon, light, water, temperature, and nutrients, the limiting factor of a plant's growth is often its own internal factors or the amount of a key ingredient. Chlorophyll concentration is one such factor, as the amount of this pigment limits how much light can be captured for photosynthesis. The plant activates enzymes, including photolyases, to repair DNA damage caused by the UV-B. These repair mechanisms are critical for preventing permanent genetic mutations. While protective measures are activated, a high dose delivered over a short period can cause stress that overwhelms the plant's defenses. Photosynthesis is highly sensitive to UV-B. A high dose can inactivate Photosystem II (PSII), damage thylakoid membranes within the chloroplasts, and reduce chlorophyll content, which lowers the plant's overall photosynthetic capacity. Despite repair mechanisms, high UV-B doses can inflict persistent damage on the plant's DNA. The overproduction of reactive oxygen species can cause oxidative stress, leading to the oxidation of lipids and proteins and disrupting cellular function. I am playing in the enchanted forest. Go buy yourself a carbon filter if you will grow this strain because the smell is SO STRONG that when I was harvesting a took a 5 minute break because of the smell..

I can’t wait to harvest this plant. The sheer overwhelming power of the smells coming off Cinderella and White Widow means I have trouble picking out the more subtle scent of Blueberry. So I'm really looking forward to jarring these buds. I’ll be chopping around the end of the week. Might let her go 65.

Added a photo of the whole tent including both plants from both diaries, next diary will most likely be a 1 tent 1 plant. Buds are swelling slightly and getting even harder, like golf balls. Leafs are bleaching more, next week I'll do a complete refill of the tank and will be going a little easier on the KMPS because it adds to much K. Had some trouble with a minor leak through the top of the tube because it was filled to the rim due to a lot of roots and really long netcups which block the tube, next tome netcups which are not as long and rather wider instead because the current ones are choking the stem which IMO is a good and bad thing, it stresses the plant so it produes more but also chokes it a little and the stem rips at the base but it heals. El sabado 10/8 se pasa temporizador a 13 horas de luz. El domingo se sacan ramas bajas para hacer esquejes. Se agrega trampa para mosquitas.

Buenas a tod@s... Bueno otra semanita más para las niñas... Las gorilla zkittlez... De momento va todo bien, todo en orden, las eh pasado a la maceta de 7 lt para q ya estén ahí, un buen sustrato y un poquitito de nutrientes para las raíces... Day 8 - Girls starting to come on now. Looks like their roots have settled and starting to see some pokies coming out of the bottom of the root pouches so hopefully start to see some good growth beginning soon. Get them ready for training and the likes. Not changed the water this week (really should have as temp has been up a bit...into the 25's in the tank but plenty of Great White in there and no roots in water yet but...) - topping up with plain water to keep the EC level and just pH adjusting. Last weeks solution was a bit hot for my liking but no burn signs so should be good for a couple more days yet. Got some iceline procured so been cleaning/flushing/sterilising the Hailea for getting it installed (That's when the water change will happen...likely to last weeks strength & recipe). Cant wait to get that in to get tank temps down (as roots will be in the water in about 5 days by the looks of things...tops!!! Also have the Torus Hydro pH Perfect Inline run through for a couple of days so it will be ready to go in to keep the pH good for me (A grow off and my pH skills are out the window!!! 😜). Just waiting on a Sicce Syncra 3.0 to pump the chiller and the pH Perfect (Bit overkill @ 2700LpH but looking something for the URDWC I am building for next year...thought the extra pressure would help with the inline pH adjuster too). Apart from that, will download the stills for the time lapse video and upload tomorrow. Happy Growing all!!! 💪

3/11 Week 11 a day early due to visitors day 28 of Flower Her buds building and coning as any proud female would like. No signs of any deficiencies and the tips are ok so leaving all nuets as is. Halfway to projected harvest date according to Fast Buds, we believe them. Having some humidity issues due to our funky weather. Humidity running higher than is safe on lights out , 60-70%, so installed one small dehumidifier but getting a larger one today to add to it. That is pretty much it, hope for better pics later! Good growing out there! 3/12 Vid and Pics of her We fouled up and miscalculated days in flower today should be 29 as she obviously into flower on 2/12. Hubby just looked at the calendar wrong 😏 Fix what I can sorry folks thought it looked further along than that. pics

12/5 Gotta say I am loving how great she is growing all the new growth is coming in perfect.. I made some organic tea out od the Foxfarms Acid lovers dry fertilizer and gave her about 2 and a half cups.. Shes a little small by all accounts but you never know what might happen
