Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. She's loaded with flowers that are all beginning to get frosty! 9/6- My daily watering campaign continues with me giving the Papaya Sherbet approximately 5 gallons of well water from the garden hose. The flowers on the Papaya Sherbet are stacking away and the frost continues to accumulate! 9/8- Today, before watering the Papaya Sherbet, I did some needed plant maintenance, removing a bunch of old dead leaves, along with a handful of shade leaves that were yellow. 9/10- Well with four weeks of flower behind her now, the Papaya Sherbet photo is almost halfway through with another 5-6 weeks to go. Both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants have developed well and carry hefty top buds on each side branch and also the main cola. The lower regions also carry buds, but those are a little more fluffy and not so big and dense as the top buds. In total the two plants harvested 91,3 grams. Every bud is COVERED IN TRICHOMES and the plants glisten in the light, they are FROSTY AS HELL! The plants have a STRONG AROMA now, which is sweet and peachy with hints of sandalwood. They smell ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and the dried weed carries the flavor of this aroma also in the smoke! VERY PEACHY! All in all I can only recommend this strain, its not the biggest yielder, but definitely delivers connoisseur grade weed. Hats off to Mat from House of the Great Gardener in Canada, he has made another GREAT cross and I hope he will release this variety soon! 👍😍😎.

Day 102 since seed touched soil. Again troubles .... Came to check them and found tent dark. Normally theirs day was in the night, now one day we again had no electricity and everything moved 8 hours, so day is day now .... Humidity spikes as hell. I dont want to make wounds, so no defoliation ... just too big of a risk to damage or bring infection in .... Ground level 99% rh, canopy level - 85, lights level - 80 .... never grew in such hight, i did in 65-70 without problems, but this goes overboard ... Drinking slowed down, will reduce volume by 20% next watering. One more feed left. Keeping sticky pads as prevention and it helped to catch 50 or so bugs and maybe prevent infestation. Gnats mostly ... This this girl despite standing in shade , is very very nice. I managed to flatten her out without any HST, proud of myself a bit ;))) 10 days till chop !!! Hope no bud rot !!! Happy Growing !!!

Day 28- business as usual. May top dress end of this week, not sure. But smells and trichs are setting up and no signs of deficiencies. I probably could push them more but it’s all good for now. Day 30- ditched the trellis and did a heavier defol as the humidity would reach 73 with lights off. See if we can get some better airflow and fatter lowers.

I figured out my tent cam and was able to pull Timelapse vids going back a full year! I edited out the night time and tried to squeeze these long grows into 2min. I def need to water more often. I think I’d have had fewer crispy leaves. Otherwise, she’s a tasty plant and a super stony smoke!!

End of week 4. So far so good. Plants are healthy, buds are starting. Light and plants are happy together. I haven't had a proper tasting Bubble gum in a while, let's see what theses can do . Thanks everyone

Amelie has settled in well in the new tent and has gained 4cm in height this week. As she had been standing on the piano by the window under a 7W lamp for a really long time, waiting for a tent to finally become available, she had produced a lot of leaf material. This now had to come down. On 08.03.25 I therefore lollipopped and did some defoliation on the leaf canopy. Now it is nice and airy again and can concentrate fully on flowering. Incidentally, the pistils were already visible on 03.03., 8 days after the start of flowering. I had sent the mother into flowering in the previous run and fed her with Biobizz Grow/Bloom/Calmag and Plagron Green Sensation. As I still have a sample of Biobizz Topmax here, I thought I'd give it a try and see what effect it has on the taste. It's supposed to be sweeter, I've heard.

I started the GSC seeds from HSC by soaking in a glass of water overnight then planted in coco coir under a humidity dome in my veg tent. I will plant them in flower box in a couple weeks when they can handle the feed that my BB clone is on right now. On day 5 my 2 other Gsc seeds rotted perhaps too wet but I have one good remaining for this run. I started White widow seeds and will run 2 phenos. Gsc is looking good so far.

Day 100 - Harvest time! Will hang her completely upside down. RH=58% and 23ºC at almost midday. Hanging them in my bathroom Day 105 - Drying finished today! Was faster then i expected but im mid summer so its hard to maintain proper drying temperatures Im SUPER happy with this diary, @Fast_Buds and the Grow Diaries Team! This website has helped my improve my growing skills in a way i couldn´t imagine. Having a clear, imaged, reported diary where you write everything you do, really helps you understand your mistakes and see where you could have donw better comparing to how others did! Another Veg week down and heading into flowering... 'Good Girl' is looking great. She has good color and pre-flower development so I'm really happy with where she's at since she's basically on par with the Euphoria as far as size and shape. 'Problem Child' however is... Well you guessed it, having problems😜 I made a short video this week to show you what's going on. If anyone has any recommendations that would be appreciated, otherwise I'll give her more dolomite lime and some trace minerals to see what that does, since she seemed to respond well to the Lime before. I would just like to get her sorted since this is a crucial time. It's very frustrating since both of these plants are the same strain raised in the same soil given the same nutrients and the same environmental conditions and the difference between them😩 I think more than one factor may be causing the problem. She did get a little heat stressed early on just like Euphoria, but unlike Euphoria she never quite fully recovered from it. Some might argue that it's nute burn but I don't think so given her chlorosis. I think it's likely a nute ratio that's off, and after doing a little research it may very well be a Potassium Deficiency. Therefore adding kelp meal would be a good bet and I was already planning on starting to add in molasses now that we're switching over to flower. I just hope I can get her figured out and into a decent groove so that she'll produce some nice flowers🙏

Es ist vorbei, jetzt wird geerntet. Zwei sehr unterschiedliche Phänotypen werden sehr bald im Vaporisator auf ihren Geschmack, Duft und Wirkung getestet werden. Auch wenn die kleinere der beiden Pflanzen vielleicht noch etwas länger hätte stehen können. Es war kein Platz mehr im Zelt und der oberste Bud der großen Runtz fing an zu verbrennen. Für ein SOG halte ich solch unterschiedliche Phänotypen nicht geeignet, anders sieht es allerdings mit Stecklingen von ihnen aus. Insgesamt unkomplizierte Pflanzen, nur die Thripsen bekam ich nie vollständig in den Griff. Dies war mein erster Indoor Grow und ich stelle fest, daß meine Grow Box nur Platz für eine Pflanze hat wenn es eine Schönheitskönigin werden soll. Immerhin habe ich es noch geschafft eine paar schöne Blattverfärbungen an der größeren Pflanze zu erreichen. Auf den Bildern kann man das wilde, ungestüme gut erkennen. Danke an Zamnesia, dass ich diesen Strain ausprobieren konnte! Ich habe ja noch ein paar Samen für weitere Grows. Vielen Dank auch an Plagron für den Blütendünger. Das solch dicke Blütenkolben möglich sind hätte ich vor diesem grow nicht geglaubt. Ich wünsche allen anderen Teilnehmern dieses Contests einen erfolgreichen Abschluss und eine gute Ernte! P.S. Wenn ich mir so in der Verößerung die Frostigkeit der Buds ansehe, wird mir etwas Bange... --- It's over, now it's time to harvest. Two very different phenotypes will soon be tested in the vaporizer for their taste, aroma and effect. Even if the smaller of the two plants could perhaps have stood a little longer. There was no more room in the tent and the top bud of the large Runtz started to burn. I don't think such different phenotypes are suitable for a SOG, but the situation is different with cuttings from them. All in all, uncomplicated plants, but I never got the thrips completely under control. This was my first indoor grow and I realize that my grow box only has room for one plant if it is to be a beauty queen. At least I managed to get some nice leaf coloration on the larger plant. You can see the wild, impetuous growth in the pictures. Thanks to Zamnesia for letting me try this strain! I still have a few seeds for further grows. Many thanks also to Plagron for the flower fertilizer. I would never have believed that such thick flower bulbs were possible before this grow. I wish all the other participants in this contest a successful conclusion and a good harvest! P.S. When I look at the frostiness of the buds as they grow, I get a bit scared...
