Week 3 update and all systems go for launch. We’re flipping to flower exactly 21 days from seed and so far, the mix looks to be impressive. Counting about 4 males (one that won’t make the cut), 2 indica leaning phenos and the rest are sativa leaning. Side branching has also been impressive so we should be able to pull some rootable cuts within the next week or two. If we got the sexes right (it is a little early to be certain), then the dutchy cabinet will be full up for bud testing👍. Next week will tell the tale🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. well, another week goes by and it's growing not like I expected hehehe but that's ok, living and learning, and for now I'll just wait for this cycle to end to start a new one and post it here and I'll tell you right away that I ordered a kit advanced nutrients starter and will test it on the new cycle. =D

Final week before flower, and I took out the smallest plant as I knew I needed space for a dehumidifier. It was a good choice to in the end.

Hi All, This baby has become huge in the past 2 weeks. I still tried doing LST on it and as far as I can see it really worked. She became much wider and is even producing more side branches then before. The smell is great, it actually does smell like lemon. Still not using any nutrients (First time growing) to see how the plant is growing. Any tips or tricks are always welcome. Happy growing xo Nien

Week 8: Having some issues with my lower leaves at the moment , but the rest of the plant is really good. We are also being hit by a big heat wave in here , temps outside reaching 40C, but I’m managing it well for now. I will probably have big issues when the drying comes - open to ideas 💡

You can really see how the lights shine in comparison to my older ones. The brightness of the leds is next level and I can use their V1 spectrum from seed to harvest. Its a great balance of red and blue in a full spectrum light. The medic grow mini sun 2 is a all purpose light that I can see myself getting lots of use out of in the future. Plus they fit in my tent just as snug as my last ones and that's a big thing for me, I don't like dim corners. I am using the lights at 80% dim level. this will be raised to 100% when they enter flower :D First time useing lights I can dim. they also have an onboard timer attached to them, I will be playing aorund with this to see if its something I want to use in the coming weeks, I all ready have all the external timers so I can see how this is a useful tool for anyone starting off without them. On top of all this I also transplanted my plants into their final pots. they went from a .7-.8L to a 2gal or 7.5L, all the root balls on the plants where perfect, nice white roots, maybe a bit compacted for the size and might explain why I am having some issues with them but healthy none the less. I think they will not start to grow a bit better and I will see less issues moving forward. I still have yet to get a new PH pen but I am blindly guessing the PH by adding 2 drops of phosphoric acid ph down per 1gal of feed solution. it seems to be working out just fine. A little bit of defoliation in order for the side branches to reach better light. I usually don't go in to a heavy deforestation I just occasionally remove some of the big fan leaves in order to have better light penetration. So far the roots are going great not even a slight sign of bacteria or problems in the root zone. We have nice white roots and so far is all going great. Ill probably move them in a separate buckets in week 4. I'm not sure that I'll even have 4 weeks of vegetation becose some of them are starting to show the gender signs, so probably it will be like 3 weeks veg at maximum. DAY 28/DAY 9VEG RH DAY 60-63% RH NIGHT 60-63% Room temperature day 26-27C Room temperature night 23-25C EC 520 pH 5.8 Water temperature 18.5-19.5 PPFD 420 Light cicle 20/4 VPD 1.2-1.3 I sense a little bit of deficiency maybe is Mn or Fe not sure but I added a little bit of CaMg and a bit more Grow A+B in order to fight it. I have heard that Athena usually are thirsty for CaMg so basically you have to add more. Plus I lower the pH to 5.8 and now the game is ON. I'll see in a couple of days but if I'm not satisfied probably I'll raise the EC to 600 with a little bit of higher CaMg for base. The idea of the first few weeks under cold White was to preserve them a little bit and keep them short but since today we have full spectrum plus far red. Lets see what is going to happen tomorrow. It turned out that my clip fan was blowing the humidifier mist toward my flowers. I notisec that only two of the plants have this types of burbs and those are the once right next to the fan. I have changed the fan position and the dehumidifier positions and now I hope all will be fine. I have defoliated a little bit of big fan leaves and I hope in the end of the next week I'll have time to move the RDWC buckets becose I'm a little bit busy does days. I have lower the PPFD becose it seems that this is a bit to much for the flowers.

This week looks like it's gonna be amazing in all aspects, the plants looks super healthy and they are getting bigger and bigger everyday with beautiful fat healthy green leafs, cannot wait to flip them into flower!! 😍💯🔝

Hi all. This week has been a very productive one for the LOS girls who have bounced back from their fimming and toppings. The FFT#8 is just settling in to the NFT tank. I think she is still getting over the transplant shock but is getting more settled. The FFT#9 is a big girl already. She is the biggest other 2 los ladies and only post 1 limb so far from a snap. Shebhas some nice potential mains forming to play with and I look forward to seeing what she offers up. FFT#10 Is coming along good. She has rebounded well from her fim session and I will start pulling her mains down for her lst quads. No issues so far so let's see how the heatwave coming goes !!. Be safe growmies.

This plant is fo amazing I can’t hardly wait it’s just dripping with rezon and just gleaming in the light just about to stop feeding I’m going to probably flush with just water for 3-4 days then stop watering completely for 3-4 days then early mourning on that last day of dehydration chop chop chop

another sucessfull week of just sitting here not growing much but still staying alive just waiting on a place to grow. I have some that will be finished next week, so harvest, clean and reset for the pot patch 2023 and grow this baby out for the contest.
