Not much vertical height change this week, 15cm. Flowering stretch slowing down. That's bad news for me after her first 3 weeks being very slow growing. I missed the window for good veg growth by (I think...) low temps in the tent. As a very small plant cold roots stunts growth. Being an auto you cannot extend the veg period so I'm stuck with her being a very small plant. Nutrients as above added to 10L water along with 5g of 20-20-20 powdered fertiliser. Still... if we're always learning nothing is lost. Just data in the memory bank.

It's been a pretty interesting last couple of weeks. Gorilla Zkittlez have quite the stretch in early flower. So far they have tripled in height, but goddamn they're frosty. The Canuk Blueberry doubled in high and is now packing on a little bit of weight.

So I just chopped the plant today. About 10% amber and 80% cloudy. Smells like candy! Very sweet and sticky. I stunted the growth by topping her a little late and transplanting—- yes I know about autos. But she took it and grew very short but mighty. Pretty pleased with the quality. Guessing 28 grams dry— drying right now. ✌️🏻💚

Medium: 🥥🥥🥥🥥 Coco remains as the most manageable medium in our arsenal. It’s simplistic, similar to conventional soil but as a nutrient neutral medium, it’s also much more tailored to the growers preferences in terms of feeding. It’s best attribute is excellent drainage and consistency - a lot fluffier than soil which definitely translates to faster growth rates. It’s a damn shame that this particular grower forgot the cardinal f$&@king rule when it comes to any grow - always water to run off and pay attention to the strength of the feed in relation to the plants growth stage. If we had followed these basic principles we wouldn’t have run into the serious late stage burn that almost toasted the whole plant. On the flip side of that, coco flushes out incredibly well and if not for this attribute, the whole grow would’ve been an unmitigated disaster. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Uggghhh - hindsight f$&@‘n sucks sometimes. Best descriptor for how we grew this girl - imagine having the dinner table set with your finest china, a bottle of the most expensive red wine you can find, a brand new top-o-the-line BBQ, and then burning the absolute f$&k out of a $40 prime rib. That’s exactly how this grow feels... We were looking to scrog it the whole time and this went perfectly. The plant helped quite a bit with longer than expected internodal spacing. This allowed for a really even canopy/bed of buds. Again though, the vipar 450w (truly a 200w~) shit the bed mid veg. And we needed a replacement. Went with a 100w SpiderFarmer QB. While I truly am pleased with the purchase I do believe that we should’ve upp’d to the 200w model (or 2, 100w models) to achieve a similar output and result - @silverback_guerilla was right on point with the lighting advice (*again). Given the reduced yield it just feels like the nodal spacing and overall bud quality may have suffered with the reduced power. This, despite the better light spectrum and overall coverage in general. As an aside - an additional Fixture is now on the way😉👍. Worst part about this is we’ll never really know what the true limiting factor actually was due to the nute burning. Probably the single most stupid, rook mistake I could’ve made was not watering to runoff.... just too much shit going down in the world (and in life) these days and I started to treat the grow like it was on auto pilot🤬🤬🤬. The whole worlds a cluster f$&k right now so why should the grow be any different right? 4/5 for the method, losing1 point because the grower is a lazy moron. Yield/Harvest🌴 The final numbers are better than expected, 2.26oz of usable bud. Not overly fluffy and not overly dense. Not glazed in frost but not without a little shimmer. All around mediocre unfortunately. What it coulda? Shoulda? Woulda been??? Note sure 🤔 but we’ll take it👍. On a more positive note - There was still another new addition to our grow cycle. This time on the back end. Everyone knows that trimming just plain sucks. When we’re spitt’n out 3-4 plants every few months, the exercise is a dreaded necessity if were gonna maintain the vast array of choice that we’re used to🤙👌. The whole process just for one plant can take hours unless you have help. We prefer to wet trim too so for those that don’t require a commercial size trimmer, the only option to save some time is a trim bowl. We bit the bullet, dropped the cash on one - have NOT been disappointed at all! Not only did it cut the chop process from 2-3 hours down to a mere 45 minutes, the buds literally came out rack ready. There was no need to do any touch up trimming and the bud photos you see are as-is, right out the bowl🤩. Really coulda used this last fall and I would recommend this to anyone who chops more than a handful of plants per year. Just awesome and worth every penny!👌🤙👍 At times like these, we should all just be thankful that we still have both the opportunity and ability to grow our own✌️. Out of Amsterdam, they are the 2nd such breeder to market their genetics worldwide and can lay claim to the origins of their beans better than most (if not all) others. They’ve produced here an indica hybrid cross of M33/Friesland Indica with an elite clone of Lava Cake. We’re hoping to encounter one of the purple phenos but only time will tell. She’s supposed to be super strong too and not for the faint of heart 👍. We’ve been wait’n on this one awhile and she’ll be getting individual treatment in the small cab - 5gal. Everything seems to be going slow still. Did one last heavy defoliation to get good airflow going. I added the Ts1000w from Mars Hydro. I’m still feeding the usual 3.0EC from Floraflex. Smell is more on a minty side I can’t really describe it. Other than that nothing else. See you all next week.

I feel like it’s finally starting up again and my plant didn’t die. The buds are getting thick and dense. Some are about 37 mm diameter Thicker branches make bigger buds I’ll be doing more supercropping the next time.

Coming along nicely this week, hoping to see them explode in the next 2-3weeks. All are very healthy and have responded just how I like to LST. Purpinator is bringing out the smells in there definately and they are all smelling good in their own way. I recommend all the products I have used in this diary highly as they haven't failed me in the past(yield and quality). The only new product I am using is green planet purpinator, so I will let you know if I recommend this too when all is finished. I'll upload daily or every couple of days. To clarify I have 6x 55litre buckets with 3 plants of the same strain in each. I have used coco substrate and grown all of them from seed(courtesy of barney's farm) Thanks for looking.

Popped easy, then put into Coco Coir/Organic Perlite Mix and used CropSalts Veg A Veg B and Run Clean. Ran 5.8ph and 800 EC as Coco was pre buffered and first run off was over 1300. Adjusted well then adjusted EC to 900. Runoff was still equally out before transplant.

This is the 8th week. Thursday will be 9 weeks of 12/12. Some trichs are amber. They just added a good bunch of girth over the past few days, but most of the pistils are red now. The rest of them have been dropping leaves consistenly but the canopy remains full so they must be putting out more leaves. I just flushed to 80% runoff and found out that I had 1200ppm. I just got an ec meter but my last reading said closer to 600 so idk what happened there. I flushed until I had runoff ppm of about 150. Now they're back in the grow tent. I don't want to keep assaulting them with my microscope. I think they're ready. Just gonna let them settle another day or two to dry out a bit. I took one small branch off the small Wedding Cake plant on Thursday and I've just been watching it dry on my counter. It's been 5 days and the stem snaps but still leaves a fiber connecting. I put it into a small jar with a 64RH thing. I just want to try it. It already smells amazing. The leaves on the big CBD Blue Shark plant are going really yellow and some other colours are starting to come out as well. The buds all fattened up and got more frosty again. I was worried they were foxtailing but they got more calyxes underneath the peaks and have been making more of a pyramid shape. They're really close to peak. Harvest day will be March 17 or 18. March 17 1023pm chopped and hung after lights off all day. RH was 65% before I chopped and 50% after I closed the window and cut the plants off the saturated pots. I did a wet trim to prevent mold. The buds are sticky af. Gonna hang them to dry for 7-9 days before curing in jars :) March 18 : checked the RH when I woke up and it's chilling at 45% 😎 March 19 : just checked to see how they were drying. There are seeds in every plant. RIP I'll update when I put them in jars and again a few weeks later for final review. Overall it was a good grow despite the rocky start and a good introduction to the mainline technique and my new grow space. Next grow I should have everything pretty well dialed in. March 23 They were hanging for 3 days. Rh was around 45, then spiked to 65 overnight when I forgot to turn the fans back on. Temp was high at around 26.they felt wet after 2 days, and bone dry after 4 days. The stems still didn't snap but I put them in jars anyway. A day later, jar RH was 50%. I burped all the jars and there was a smell from the new jars. I took all the weed out, washed out the jars, and did a dry trim on the weed. One of the Wedding Cake plants must have gone hermie. I didn't see any bananas and didn't even realize there were seeds until the very end. The seed pods looked just like calyxes while the plants were growing. Many of the nugs are unusable. Under the sugar leaves are just layers and layers of seeds. Some weren't hit that badly. The CBD Blue Shark is much better off but still has some seeds. I'm trying to stay positive. It's a bit of a shock though. I'm anxious to try the finished product. If the flowers at least taste good and have a good effect, all is not lost.

11/17 Week 8 Man I will be glad when this grow is over, if making mistakes promotes learning well... Im a fricking PHD ... Ok progress on Maggie the yellow is limited to the very top as buds are building in particular those a couple inches from the top. Thinking another root drench is in order, cant hurt and letting her dry a bit as a prep. Looks like tomorrow Layla doing ok she exhibits far fewer problems but the same issue are present she is just a hell of plant along with the Runtz which she shares the tent. Thinking about the feeding tomorrow will decide what to do then. They have plenty of time to finish up, had some issues on germination on the grow following so looks like it may be delayed a week from the scheduled 2 weeks. Maggie may need it. 11/19 Have stumbled onto to something it seems. The further I move the lights out, they are now at twice the "ideal" placement of 14" at 28" and the yellowing is disappearing to a great extent. Problem with this of course is not enough light at bud sites not on the canopy which lets face it is most of your bud. It is absolutely something that makes the plants insanely susceptible to light burn. New one for me but maybe some of yall know so making a question of it. Pics at lights out only and I missed today so new pics later if I get back in time. Update : Defoliated and tightened training on all three to spread things out from the center and open up the light and air paths. Raising the lights is working just wish I knew why as lights are higher than crap with little room for more than a few more inches. Would drop the watts to 450 but need the heat to keep the grow room level as our temps here swing 40 degrees all the time. Something I learned with the help of a carbon filter. If things normalize will begin dropping lights to see what happens. 11/20 Setting the lights at 24" as I am not risking yield any further than that on Layla and the Runtz, Have the canopy as level as it can be with Brandy getting the least light being on a coco coir block (heh) for height, which she is responding well to since I opened up the plant and no longer worried over mold issues in that main bud. Have Layla on a milk crate to bring her into decent light as well as the Runtz. She is just a lovely thing building those white crystalline buds. Maggie has turned into a beast at least I know her root ball is huge from the growth above. Seriously defoliated her removing several small lower branches and leaves blocking light and air paths. Next feed will be continuing what seems to be working, Epsom salt and bloom nuets (no calmag with epsom salt) with a foliar feed after lights out which may well be with calmag. Foliar feeding today at lights out, one quart sprayer with 1ml CaliMagic and 0.5ml wetting agent un-PH warmed to 75 F before spraying (our tap water comes out at @50F so...), just trying to hit hard and effective * New Pics after foliar Update Folks its taken 8 weeks and a final piece of the puzzle provided by Grey_wolf resulted in a near full strength cal-mag foliar feeding and the last def bites the dust. See what happens from here but its the first time I have felt good about this grow since the bad time germing at week one. *big sigh of relief* Have a whole list of things I will never do again in soil more about that at harvest. Right now I need to work on why calcium is blocked at the roots but thats another day right now I just wanna look at em. 😁 11/22 Another foliar feed same as before just diluted 30% and all three got it today JIC Cannot find a pale leaf or top and hairs are standing up on the top buds for once and buds building nice on the lower ares the defs were cleared up first. Going to stop the foliars for a few days see what happens but will resume at first sign of need. Maggie has potential even after all this and we going to help her be all she can :D 11/22 Feeding day - Bio-Bloom 7ml - calmag 4ml - Recharge .5tsp / gal at 6.5PH to all three. No foliar today 11/23 The thickness of the hair growth on Layla is amazing! Will try and get pics at lights out of it if my crappy camera will catch it. Never seen anything like it, once again THIS this is what we intended by growing Stardawg :) Update: Pics and vid hope it comes through well enough as for the green in that tent and the dense hairs on Layla

So I had absolutely no ill effect on the plants at at all moving from the green buzz veg feed too the house & garden soil a&b feeds, I did not even given them a water only inbetween the two, I also went straight in with 50% the recommended dose stated on the house & Gardens bottles this switched happened the day before week 5 none showed any signed of defects or deficiency intact they exploded into life over night and then every day after that, I have been using the green buzz fast buds as a folar spry appied too the leaves of the early flower formation after lights out, They seemed too love that too and I also kept the note roots going in, I also started too apply C-RESULT at the fullbl dose stated on the bottle, The plants live this stuff if you have not tried it do it, I am not sponcered by c-result I was given this by my local grow store, It brings all the nutrients straight too the roots it states, All I know is this stuff triggers the plants too suck the pots dry in 24 hours, So make sure you have your feed bucket fully in order before adding this stuff as a mistake here could cost you, But get it right and in 24 hours these little autos doubled in size, It states too used week one of flower only and smells like a sewer lol I have today day one of week 6 Started too add house & garden Bud XL at half strength too increase next week and also I added there top shooter at 1ml per liter of water as 7 as I plan too removed all chemicals exactly as of day 1 of week 7 leaving me week 9 clean, I am training all the shooting tips too my scrog netting the best I can due too very limited space in the grow space, And am praying for some of the promised purple leaves on the fast buds Web site, I did not too these this time, I has on lemon pie this round that is 2 weeks behind the rest due too non germination but I am wondering if a staggered planting each plant exactly one week behind each other would give me a little more canapé space and the treat of harvesting a plant every week, Using the skyline 1000 only I did not too any of these autos 2 x strawberry cheese cake 2 x lemon pie 4 x fyah Sounds like a plan too me, Thanks for reading

NY Diesel Auto Feminised is an auto-flowering version of the celebrated New York City Diesel. It is mostly indica while also displaying some sativa-like cerebral effects to accompany the deep relaxation that it provides. NY Diesel Auto grows to a height of 60 – 100 cm. tall and develops plenty of side-branches that produce nice, dense buds. Growers can harvest yields of yields of around 600 gr/m2 in just 60 - 70 days from germination. This strain can also be grown successfully outdoors due to the hardy ruderalis genetics. The scent is very dank with notes of diesel fuel. THC production is in the region of 14 – 16% while CBD levels are around 2%. The overall effect has an initial cerebral quality leading into bodily relaxation and a sense of wellbeing while not being physically incapacitating 10/5 Dropped two NY Diesel Auto seeds into a shotglass of room temp spring water. Placed the shotglass in a dark warm cupboard. I will be preparing the medium today as well. The plan is 24 hours in the shotglass, 24 hours in a wet paper towel, then straight into 3gal fabric pots that have already been cooking for 2 days. They'll go under 18/6 with RH at 60% to 70%. 10/6 One seed has a tiny tap root and is still floating in the glass. The other seed fell to the bottom but has no taproot. Letting them stay in the shotglass another 12 hours. 10/7 Diesel #2 Half inch tap root and she sank to the bottom of the shotglass finally. I wet the coco-perl with PH 6.35 room temp water with Fish Sh!t in it. Let's grow Diesel #3 without Fish Sh!t for comparison. Diesel #3 She has a miniscule taproot and it's black. Could just be film from the seed case where it cracked. I put her in a damp paper towel and stuck her in the dish washer. We'll check back in 12 hours. 12 hours later, no change. Then I realized I forgot to put it in a zip lock. The paper towel was still wet tho. Put it in a zip lock, will check in the morning. 10/8 We have a taproot on NY Diesel #3. Put some Azos in the drop site and sowed the seed. Half a shot glass of water to seal it in. 18/6, 67% RH, 80°f
