Fifth week of flower and it was time to defoliate the indoor units as they were starting to get bushy and block exposure to the lower bud sites. Quick work with the bonsai shears and they were ready to soak in the sun. I left the rooftop plants alone as I believe having additional leaf mass enables them to withstand temp and environmental fluctuations better. Whether or not this is the case, it was an experiment.

Weekly update on these lovely ladies. This week has been fun to watch the flowers form and swell. They definitely are starting to smell, as soon as you open the tent it hits you like a ton of bricks. I'll be doing my final dedoliation this week taking off some of the bigger fan leafs allowing more light to the lower flower sites. All in all Happy Growing

The cbd rich has made big buds, the stems have difficulty supporting their weight. He still needs a few days of rinsing for harvest. The smell is fruity and a little herbal The juanita have impressive senescence colors, one has become purple with red-yellow gradients on the large leaves. The other 2 also have intense orange and yellow colors, they are starting to be rinsed enough for harvest. The smell is still fruity and exotic but but it seems like it's starting to smell a bit like lemon as the reggae seeds description says. I could have cut the gourmands underneath but I never thought of doing that. The trichomes in the buds are still clear and milky, not as easy to see in the photo as with the magnifying glass directly. I watch every day to harvest at the perfect time. Opening the box means staying 15 minutes watching them every evening 😄🌈 27/03 update

End of Week 16 (9th week of flower) Final week of flower. Turned the lights wattage down at the end of this week to 400W to mimmic the sun moving further away from the earth during Autumn and Winter seasons. This also creates an overall cooler temperature signalling to the ladies that the end is in sight. This also protects the trichomes and ensures they don't get damaged and also dropped the The ladies are fading more and more into their vibrant autumn shades. With hues of pink and purple that makes me so excited! Feeding just PH correct water until harvest, which is around the corner. We are currently on day 63 of flower and checked the trichomes - just a few specs of amber and the cloudy trichomes are more prominent although there are still some clear ones. The white widow was a runt but she has really picked up the pace and about caught up with the rest of the girls. She is stretching nicely and starting to build a lot of nice little top buds. She seems to have a nice balance of spacing between her buds. So excited to see how she turns out. Will be starting them on some liquid Koolbloom next week. Nutrients per gallon .5 tsp maxibloom .25 tsp maxigro .5 tsp calimagic .25 tsp armor si .1 tsp 90/10 humic/fulvic acid. Ph to 6.0

So, eventful week. Prior to putting my seeds into my system, my light and rdwc system was left on as I was dialling in the growing environment before placing the seeds as a final home. My only issue was I had a light leak BEFORE putting the foil top covers on the clay pebbles. Long story short, I got algae which ended up turning to root rot. I spotted it very swiftly and did a res change adding beneficial bacteria to the system along with the base products of remo nutrients. A few days later new growth and recovery is taking place. Day 16- Fully back on track, new roots shooting out into the water and the growth rate has picked up as it should. Foliar feeding twice a day for a little boost until the root system establishes a bit more. Huge changes in just a day. Can't wait to see what a week's growth looks like. Really loving the sunset/sunrise feature on the trolmaster, something I got to experience watching recently! Watching by closely to make sure everything stays in track. Stay tuned for the next one 😉

The girls are packing on weight and smelling really good, I’ve got 1 really nice pheno that has an amazing cookie smell. One of the girls has faded because I forgot to order more food for them but I have got some now and re-amended the pots last night, hopefully she’ll get her colour back soon.

They are looking healthy and the stems are very strong. Excited to see how big these nugs get with this bud candy. Week 4 today. My grow is always frosty. For some reason a lot of people have told me my grow is the best they have ever had. I’ve tasted other growers grow and their stuff wasn’t as good as mine. Definitely have a great green thumb in growing.!
