1/25 Week 11 Ripley : Flushing begins with a five gallon flush to move the runoff to under 200ppm and defoliated by pulling almost every leaf on a stem, and god what a bunch there were. This opens the plant and removes those sources of nuets. Going to doing this as quickly as we may so will be monitoring runoff as we go. So this was quite the week...I was looking over our set up, and making sure Grandma has everything she needs when she says "it seems to me that we need a vegetation cabinet." Turns out she had all the supplies too. Cracked me up...so I ended up building a nice little veg / drying cabinet. You'll see it in the second Meph run diary, was too busy to get some shots today. 😅 She doubled in size from last week, super happy with the progress. She's under a combo of flouro and LED in the new cabinet and LOVING it. Started ramping in nutrients slow and steady, keeping the c02 around 600-800ppm while I finish up the environmental control in the new cabinet. I realized that Mephy, might be a flight risk...so I made her a pen. 😂 ...also removed any confusion on her breed. Overall it was a great first time grow. The outcome was smaller than expected. This was caused by the heavy under watering, that stunted the growth of the plant. However the 26g of weed that I got from this harvest is amazing! Smoking is very smooth and the sativa effects are great.

Realized I was keeping my rock wool too wet in standing water in tray. Also that runoff tested at 7.5 pH. Fixing that the last few days. Keeping 29c 90ish rh and hardening a few times a day.

So this week flushing began. Flushed with water pH 6.0 EC 0.1, I won't harvest the plants untill the run off EC is the same as the Input EC. Temps also brought down to preserve Terps as much as possible. Serious smell coming from both strains, Buds are somehow getting even frostier. Can not wait to harvest these two strains!

Here we are at the halfway point, after the first month our photoperiodic plants are multiplying their florets and then going into flowering. Slurricane is a lady with low internodal distance. This characteristic greatly influences the application of growing techniques. In this case it is a plant that responds to topping a little slower than the others and it is best to wait for the branches to grow to avoid damaging the little ones. However, we are at 4 florets and between tomorrow and the day after tomorrow we will cut 8. My plan for photoperiodic plants is to get to 16, wait a few days and go into flowering. 16 florets as I see it is the perfect size for the 11 liter pot. Topping is an extremely delicate moment as regards cutting the tops to split them, we always pay attention not to damage the new growing branches. Topping is also a delicate moment as regards fertilization because the plant slows down and absolutely does not need all that nitrogen that it would normally need and that the producers recommend in their sheets. So you should arrive with the plant green and perfectly in shape at this moment and dose the fertilizer very well for growth. Mine came from a slightly deficient veg because I kept it low fearing this over effect during the topping that I know well and now I am a bit over. Nothing to worry about, of course, but if you do repeated topping, my advice is to use preferred soil or prepare the soil with Monster Bud Mix by Zamnesia or Plagron Super Mix, in short, enrich the soil at the start and only add nitrogen if necessary, especially during repeated topping. J'ai effectuer le LST YA DEUX JOURS j'espère être dans les temps... Et j'ai monter un peux lampe pour quel s'étire un peut surtout la moby j'avais de mal pour la lst sur la moby cause entre noeud très court j'avais peur d'abîmer les secondaire... Je vais commencer à nourrir la vie microbienne avec de la mélasse de canne sinon tous questions et conseils sont les bienvenu merci bonne culture à tous🎄🎄🎄
