8 weeks later and these girls are getting smelly! They are also steadily packing on some weight and I'm getting excited! This week the girls look to be in mid flowering stage and they were starting to show some kind of deficiency (maybe should've top dressed last week) well I top dressed last night and whipped up a compost tea for them too so we'll see how they react this week. Other then that a very light defoliation for air flow and tightened up the lst wires. Getting very excited for a taste 😋 Hope you all had a good week and thanks for checking in ✌️

buds are getting fat and smell is more intense now. the watering level is low and the leaves are yellowing so i won't refill it because the plant is near to harvest. I recorded a microscope video to see trychomes (sorry for my bad pulse) but enought to see that buds aren't ready to harvest, maybe the next week.

My plants are doing better with more heat and less light. My light is turned down to 30%. I installed a oil heater so the tent stays above 80 even during lights out. My plants have never looked healthier. Changing off of my veg nutes and going to flower dosages.

Ztrawberriez is doing great, beside the fact for the first time ever I tripped while moving her and she spilled out. Needless to say there were bad words said. So anyway stuffed it back in. Plant looks OK, but dunno if roots got damaged. So I did some lst on her. She was definitely ready. Hi guys, At the end of the story, I am very happy with the whole cycle and finally the outcome, since I almost killed everything in there 😂 Fat Banana is a very nice fruity-kush strain ,with a genetic background tracing back to OG Kush x Chiquita Banana. It is a heritage with a lot of power behind it, this can be seen in the potency of Fat Banana’s bud, which can reach up to 25%+ THC in just 9 weeks! When grown with an expert hand (NOT MINE😅). The potential here is great! I did have problems throughout the cycle overfertilizing the plant. This is one of the strain that did notice more my mistake, can be clearly seen on the final product. Infact, a good part of the flowers, went for bubble hash, I kept a bit to try it out because the smell its amazing. I topped her and then, because of an accidents I mainlined her, first to try the Mainlining training and 2nd as it was the only one I had, I wanted to grow her. Probably If I wouldnt have messed up with the ferilizer I would have had a much better final product, this time, talking about quantity and quality. The whole plants were dried for 18 days after which they were finished in jars for another 6 weeks, if I dont fell sooner. Gonna grow this strain again 80% I would like to thank Grow Diaries for this amazingly-organized community they have created, where we all can learn a lot, and share something we really love. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and looked at the diary, squeezed the like button or comment the diary. 13/12 I'VE MADE MY FIRST RUN OF BUBBLE HASH! Very very happy with the end result, did not weight anything yet because is still wet big time, I lightly squeezed it a bit, before let it drying on parchment on a cardboard. The smell it's just absolutely crazy. I can smell strong citrus notes in the 120µm but the 90µm and 73µm explodes with crazy-sweet note. While the 25µm (did not use the 43µm) where I did collect most of the hash, smell like good and sweet hash, nothing crazy like the previous ones but a very buttery like consistency that makes me want to eat it like this...dont ask me why...even though I know you all probably felt this way too... Anyway, the paper sheet says it all about timing, washes and µm used for the extractions, but just in case I'll explain it down here. I have done 3 wash with different timing. 1º wash: 5 min only to get the most brittle trichome heads 2º wash: 10 min stardard 3º wash: 30 min to stock up a bit 😅 I could have done an extra wash for sure and get more out, but I was running out of time so...I will update with the dry weight, it was not the only wash I've done, that were just too many grades to weight up..so I chose to do it once all dry! Amazing Plant!!!...

Just been adding water when dry. Adding some pure worm castings top dresses. Will be adding Gaia green all purpose in a week or 2 when needed.

Well, what we feared, became a reality, one of the regular XTrakush plants is a male. This is why I planted two and I'm happy it seems to be only the one. But with the canopy going nice and full it hurt to get it out. Of course, I hoped to have two females but nature went its course. Considered leaving it in, to pollinate the others, or keeping it somewhere, but I do not have the space or light for it. Thus with pain in my gut, I went about getting her out. I notice a nice developed root system, very healthy, which was very hard to get loose. After shaking the soil off I have a rootball the same size as after my whole grow last time. I could lift the whole 57 ltr bag by lifting the plant. Sturdy stem, thick solid branches. This is what I was aiming for and it works. The soil again is proving itself to be a winner. The light this low gives some higher temps as expected, but manageable within ranges. The SP-3000 is performing really well and I cant wait to see the bud development coming weeks. I'm sure it will deliver a great amount of bigger buds looking at all the flower sites and the thick branches that support them. The plants seem to take the light well on only 45 cm. I've started adding the BAC Organic Bloom Nutrition. It is designed to work with the microorganisms I added with the micro life. With this I do a little bit of Calmag, but not so much, since I don't see any evidence of shortages, again proving my soil is dialed in for growing under LED perfectly. I love sativa. This is a great freaking plant. Long skinny buds (a little squeezed by me :) and the smell is incredible (strong put in jar open 5 min later my house smells strong) its sweet from the haze but it's got that gassy fuel smell to it also with a tiny bit of earthy after aroma. It's wonderful smokes great gets me higher than any weed at the stores and I never have coughed from it I don't think it's so smooth. Organically grown buds are fckin smooooothh man I never would have understood until I grew organic! This bud is the tits I'm stoned off a mix of blueberry amnesia haze northern ligbt joint as I write this lmao good harvest

It was easy to grow for my first try! I used LST only on her with some minor defoliation here and there,with regular feeding and not much of an equipment!Only what I could find for less that 150 bucks.The pot is a mop bucket that I cut to be 8lt or so and punctured holes on its bottom 😂. If you take care of it the way you’re supposed to grow something living it will put out its full potential! I even played music during her vegetative state and the stretch! Then I switched to nature sounds of autumn for her to enjoy! I made some cannabutter (about 90g) with all the trim I had from the first harvesting session!How does it look? Second harvest is here! Again I can’t say how stunned I am with the outcome! She did 472g wet which I guess if you take out the stems and water will be around 70-80g dry...I’ll post her dry weight in a week or so! Also got another batch of cannabutter Trim and popcorn Buds,maybe this time it’ll be 120g butter!

Day 36 preflower stage, should see buds forming within the next several days or so. WE ARE AT WAR!!!! Applied a pouch of nematodes to every pot to kill the fungus gnat at its larval stage. Which has been gnawing on my roots! Increased the sticky traps to trap the flying f*<|{£rs. Will reapply more nematodes in 10 days to kill the next generation. Then hopefully that’ll be all! Don’t overwater folks. Fungus gnats suck! Hopefully last hiccup of the grow. Cheers everyone. Good luck on your grows. Day 41 and I’d say we’re officially in flower. Seein those hairs real good now. We’re still experiencing a rather annoying fungus gnat infestation which has really stunted these ladies. This is entirely my own doing by more than likely overwatering them, creating the problem. Sighs… lower stems grew considerably, which has me optimistic as to the potential yield. I won’t know till stretch is over to gauge my yield. Hopefully Fastbuds amazing genetics can help me fix my f up. 🤞 Day 45 and were on our second round of treatment with nematode packs. I have moved the grow lights up substantially as to hopefully help with the discoloration of my leaves. I believe it to be light stress from the lightening around the edges and some brown tips. Some of them are curled upwards so thst could also be nutrient burn. I have asked a question about it to hopefully get the help of someone more experienced than iam. Good luck growing my friends🍻 Day 48 I ripped open my nematodes packs and mixed in the first couple inches. The top few inches of soil are now aerated better. Hopefully things will improve. Seem to look better since I moved the light up. Stretch ladies… stretch watering at 6.0 to hopefully lower the ph of my girls. I could do the viniger method? Or sulfur.
