First week of flowering but also a complicated week for The Curse, she has been having issues in the root level for weeks but now it intensified a lot… also same week I transplanted and switched to flower. Too much So right now I’ve put one more fan in the tent and been doing a dry period to help with the overwatering as well. I hope she recovers, end of this week on its second week I’ll defoliate her drastically.

Sticky and loud is all I can say! Hopefully whatever damage and burn I have doesn’t hurt my buds too much l! But otherwise they’re stacking up well! Couple more weeks to go!

Week 4 update - through the first week of the stretch and all is developing well. It’s really only the one strong male that’s started showing significantly. Most of the females have trace pistils and are still rapid vegging as expected. Every plant continues showing excellent hybrid vigour and there are literally zero noticeable deficiencies. Currently, the count is at about 2/3 males + about 2/3 indica dominant fem phenos. We took clones of everything female this week so that we can bud em out proper in the dutchy cabinet once the pollen subsides. That’s where we’ll get a real look at the bid quality👌. They’re all quite young at only 3/4 weeks from seed but still look hardy and strong. Rigged up a new drip ring delivery system so that we could take off for a couple days and make watering easier for my mother in-law. Anyone wants the skinny on those, just throw me a dm - super easy design and save a ton of cash and time. All told - were well on our way to the final finish of this generation and the punnet squaring should be interesting once we’re done. End of the day, the grower in me is just giddy for the next cycle. Finally gonna have the option to grow a bunch of different fems for a shit ton o bud👍👌💪. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Stay tuned - with a little luck, this cross is gonna be straight 🔥😎👌.

So... I may have got baked and had one of those.... "I know what will be a good idea.!" I give you Frankenstoned early Lst lol I know I am a novice and have no right to be messing with things that already exist, and the weighted lst has probably been done many times already but I was having fun, I had a silly stoned idea, and just for shits n giggles, I made it happen, and for me this growing thing has to be fun right? Humour aside, it actually seems to work lol. I find I am a little heavy handed and a bit clumsy trying to tie things down. I recently accidentally snapped one of my criticals branches off so my little system allows me to just lift the wires up and tuck it under at strategic points.. It is quite early to be training I guess but the wire gently pushes down on the stem.. It looks heavy handed but it is actually quite gentle... So let's see if it works or not.. I am only trying it on this 1 subject.. I am expecting for the Mazar to pull up on the weights as it fattens up but I have allowed space on the bolts to add more weight.. Other than this revelation (or massive cock up) lol. The Mazar has been struggling in the heat a bit but surviving.. Let me know your thoughts, happy growing lovely people

week 2 day 3. maybe 200 ppm is a bit too much im actualy seeing tip burn on 2 of them i might remove 50 % water and add reverse osmosis water tomorow to lower nute concentration to around 100 will see how night goes.did the 50% water change and readjusted ph now everything looks fine. also iv lowered water level to 1 inch above bottom of net pot to promote more root growth i need to buy a par meter asap im scared to lower my veg led lower.some little issue with minor tip burn maybe from stress from power outtage or potassium deficiency from nutrient lock out ph went to 6.7 for a day cant get it stable so far.seems like ph as finaly settle down go check my video from grow room.2 of them are doing really well but 2 are in bad shape newbie mistake my ph pen was way out of range went to 4.8 for 2 days i calibrated it 2 days ago flushed system and ran revive only for 2 days ph has been spot on at 5.8 since flushed again yesterday and started adding nutrient back in very low dose 1/4 strenght plants now seems to thrive as roots entered the system today they already are like 6 inch long light just shut off i might do another foliar spary with revive and sensi cal mag extra and wet betty to help with damaged leafs from bad ph pen mistake next week if they have not fully recovered already in case 1 of them does not make it i have a spare 1 growing in coco whos ready to drop in system im still learning feel free to leave comments

Week 4 was defined by the discovery and correction of a significant salt and nutrient buildup in the medium. On Day 21 (Jan 20), runoff opened at 2100 PPM — well above safe range — triggering an emergency flush. Feed input came in at 418 PPM at pH 6.99, and multiple plain water rinses at pH 5.8 were run through the medium until runoff dropped to 1180 PPM at pH 5.87, EC 2370 µS/cm, salt 0.11%. Medium was flushed down approximately 920 PPM in a single session. No further watering for 24 hours following the flush to allow the root zone to stabilize. Environment ran well overall — temperatures holding 76–78°F lights on and ~70°F lights off, humidity steady at 68–70% with brief transient dips when the humidifier tank ran empty. VPD tracking ~0.9–1.0 kPa throughout the week. PPFD running 380–420 µmol/m²/s. CO2 ambient with no supplementation. Day 25 (Jan 24) feed came in at 642 PPM at pH 5.91 — notably the water temperature was very cold at 4.7–6.0°C, well below the ideal 20–22°C range. Cold water can slow nutrient uptake and stress roots. Worth monitoring in future sessions to ensure water is allowed to reach room temperature before feeding. No runoff recorded this session. By end of week, runoff had settled to 1440 PPM at pH 5.8–5.9 — trending in the right direction. Feeding plan reset going into Week 5: ½ gallon at 600–700 PPM, ¼–⅓ strength veg nutrients only, no boosters, pH 5.9 target with 10–15% runoff. Goal was a gentle nutrient reintroduction to signal roots to resume uptake without risking a salt rebound. The Sundae Thumper continued developing steadily through the stress of the flush week.

Week 5: Transplant Time & Root Power! Oh man, this was one of those weeks! We transplanted all five phenos into bigger pots, and let me tell you, they’re thriving! (Check out the complete video episode for all the details 😉). The girls are looking amazing, all pretty much the same size for now, so I don’t have any favorites yet—but let’s see what the future holds! For photos, I used both my Nikon P900 and Sony A6000, with a bunch of lenses and filters to preserve the true colors—these LEDs are powerful! Current Setup & Conditions This week, they’re still chilling with their sisters in the big tent, but in about a week, they’ll be moving into the TrolMaster ecosystem for even better environmental control. Watering: pH 6.06, EC 0.96 Temperature: A bit cold , but it is what it is. We’re facing some freezing outdoor temps (as shown last week in the frosty veggie garden pics!), yet these Runtz are holding strong like true champions. 💪❄️ Nutrition: Still on the Aptus Clean Program, with: Regulator System Clean RO Water Conditioner All-in-One Liquid Root Development: The Real MVP! Let’s go deep on roots! The mycorrhizae in the Pro-Mix soil has been working its magic, and I’m still boosting them further with a touch of Aptus Holland Mycor Mix. The root development on this transplant was insane—super white, healthy, and ready to explode with growth. What Are Mycorrhizae? The word “mycorrhiza” comes from Greek: • Myco- meaning fungus • Rhiza- meaning root Mycorrhizae are a type of beneficial fungi that form a symbiotic (mutually beneficial) relationship with plant roots. These fungi extend far beyond the root zone, creating an underground network that helps plants absorb water, nutrients, and improve overall health. This is not a single species but rather a whole category of fungi, mainly divided into: 1. Ectomycorrhizae – Live on the outside of plant roots, forming a sheath around them. Common in trees like pines and oaks. 2. Endomycorrhizae (Arbuscular Mycorrhizae, AMF) – The most beneficial for most crops and cannabis. These penetrate root cells, forming structures inside the roots that exchange nutrients. Where Are Mycorrhizae Found in Nature? Mycorrhizae naturally occur in forests, grasslands, and undisturbed soils worldwide. They play a crucial role in maintaining ecosystem balance by helping plants access nutrients from the soil. In a natural environment, plants are constantly forming relationships with these fungi. However, in modern agriculture, excessive tilling, chemical fertilizers, and fungicides have reduced their populations, making supplementation necessary in many cases. How Do Mycorrhizae Work? Once mycorrhizae colonize a plant’s roots, they start forming an underground fungal network called the mycelium. This network extends the plant’s reach into the soil, acting as a second root system. Benefits of Mycorrhizae: ✅ Enhanced Nutrient Uptake – Mycorrhizae help plants absorb phosphorus, nitrogen, and micronutrients that would otherwise be unavailable. ✅ Improved Water Absorption – The fungal network can reach deeper into the soil than roots alone, helping plants survive drought conditions. ✅ Stronger, Healthier Roots – They promote thicker, more robust root systems, reducing transplant shock. ✅ Better Soil Structure – They produce glomalin, a protein that improves soil aggregation and helps retain moisture. ✅ Natural Pest & Disease Resistance – Healthy plants with strong mycorrhizal relationships tend to be more resistant to soil-borne pathogens. How Mycorrhizae Help in Cannabis & Gardening In controlled growing environments, using mycorrhizae is a game-changer. Since cannabis relies heavily on phosphorus, the enhanced nutrient uptake provided by mycorrhizae is especially beneficial. Best ways to apply mycorrhizae: • At transplant – Dust roots with mycorrhizae powder or mix into soil. • As a soil drench – Some liquid formulations allow fungi to colonize even after planting. • Mix into your growing medium – Using pre-amended soil like Pro-Mix HP Mycorrhizae ensures roots have early access. Pro Tip: Mycorrhizae need living roots to survive! Avoid using synthetic fungicides or excessive chemical fertilizers, as they can kill the fungi. Think of mycorrhizae as a natural root booster. They’ve been around for hundreds of millions of years, helping plants thrive in all conditions. By using them in cultivation, you’re mimicking nature, ensuring your plants grow stronger, healthier, and more resilient. When used correctly, mycorrhizae can increase yields, improve plant health, and reduce the need for synthetic inputs—making them a must-have for any serious grower! Can’t wait to see how they’ll look in the next transplant! I made a few changes to my improvised photo studio, including a pink background for now—because why not? Let’s keep things fun and full of color! 🌸📸 Massive gratitude to all our sponsors and of course, a special shoutout to Zamnesia, Plagron, and Grow Diaries for making this amazing cup happen. 🙌 And to the community—followers, supporters, lovers, haters—I love you all! ❤️ Let’s keep pushing forward, learning, and making this grow legendary! WW2 collapsed on itself and I didn’t notice for 2 days lmao... oops. All is well though I tied the buds up and added some support to help them stand. The other Northern Lights has been harvested and dried, and is just entering curing now after a week and a half. Even after just a few days of jar time it’s got an amazing scent and flavour. I think I dried WW#1 too much by burping too often and too much or something, smell is super light and bud is now pretty dry. However, it’s extremely smooth, has a good smell (just light). And it absolutely kicks my ass! WW#2 in the tent has nice looking buds considering how yellow and defoliated she is super impressed! The last NL has some funky buds going on compared to the last. Fox railing and such. Doesn’t bother me any but I’m wondering if it’s a sign of stress or genetics?

Apologies for the delayed updates.. Week 5 and she is in flower...She experienced no training at all.. I was abit skeptical about growing her outside..even though she is not that big and branchy.. I just wanted to see how she would respond. I do know that the yield will be jeopardized but it's all in good sport hehe 😜 😉.. Feeding: She has been in living soil since a baby added ocean mix dry amendments to the top soil once I saw her first pistils..

Day 62, harvest day. I will update after the drying and curing process. Wish I could've let them go a little longer but had to harvest slightly early. For my first attempt I'm happy with how the ladies turned out! Nice gassy smell, big sticky dense buds, great colours and 81g altogether wet trimmed. Lost one due to growers error but I've learnt a lot for next run. I will be growing one Auto Chem OG along side one Auto NL x BB from Oasis Genetics. Have a great day and happy toking! 🍃💨

5.23 F60 5.27 F65 - Everything has been going well this week. The plants went through a feed cycle that should carry them through flower no problemo. Started with the AACT Tea, then a bokashi drench with Fish Shit from Fishheadfarms and plain water from here on out. They are drinking quite a bit. 1.5-2 gallons a plant every 3ish days. The terps in my tents smell out of this world. The ScrOG and 3x3 are like a candy store. Passion Berry has mango/guava citrus terps while Deadstar v2 has strawberry watermelon terps. The 4x5 is much more varied, but in general the sweet pink dominates with it's grape candy terps and the dread bread cuts through with it stanky gassy lemon while the prayer pupil smells like moth balls and a bit of GMO. Very lucky to get to experience this much variety. 5.29 F67

Jde to dobře 😄

[ Information ] For all information on this grow, including strain and room details, please see the first week of veg. [ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.
