Our little unicorn keeps doing exactly what she has been doing. Growing. Moving. Stacking. Building. And apparently... doing it faster than some of the girls around her. 😂🦄🔥 Frosted Guava Pheno A continues to be one of those plants that makes me stop for a second every time I walk past her. She's beautiful. She's developing beautifully. She's getting heavier. She's continuing to build those amazing flower structures. And at this point... I'm not really doing much. Actually... I'm doing almost nothing. 😂 The big work has already been done. The structure is there. The flowers are there. The plant knows what she's doing. So now? We're basically watching the show. 🍿🌿🦄 And honestly... what a show she's putting on. ──────────────────────── 🦄 WEEK 12 – THE LITTLE UNICORN KEEPS MOVING ──────────────────────── Frosted Guava Pheno A is still moving fast. That's probably the first thing I notice this week. She's not sitting around waiting for anybody. She's continuing to develop. Continuing to stack. Continuing to build. And continuing to become more and more substantial. She's got that beautiful combination of structure and flower development that makes her so interesting to follow. Every week... something seems a little more developed. A little fuller. A little heavier. A little more defined. And that's what we're watching now. Not whether she can flower. Not whether she can build. We already know she can. We're watching how far she decides to take it. 😂🦄🌸 ──────────────────────── 🌸 THE FLOWERS ARE DOING THE TALKING NOW ──────────────────────── At this stage of the run, the flowers are really starting to tell the story. The plant has done most of the structural work. The framework is established. The branches are established. The flowering sites are established. And now the flowers are becoming the main characters. 🌸🌸🌸 They're building. They're stacking. They're gaining presence. They're becoming more substantial throughout the plant. And that's what I love about this stage. You can look at the plant and see the work that has already been done. Now we're simply watching the results develop. It's almost like watching a painting dry... except this painting keeps getting more beautiful every week. 😂🦄🎨 ──────────────────────── ⚖️ SHE'S GETTING HEAVIER ──────────────────────── This girl is not just flowering... she's carrying some serious flower. 😂🌿 The structures are becoming increasingly substantial, and you can see that she's putting more and more of herself into those flowers. She's becoming a heavier plant. And that's another reason I'm not interested in constantly interfering with her. She's doing beautifully. She's growing. She's developing. She's carrying her flowers. She's showing us what this phenotype wants to become. So... why mess with it? At this point, my job is mostly to make sure she gets what she asks for... and then get out of her way. 😂 She's got this. ──────────────────────── 👀 THE GROWER IS JUST WATCHING THE SHOW ──────────────────────── This is probably the funniest part of this stage of the grow. I've spent so much time throughout this adventure doing things. Training. Tucking. Adjusting. Moving. Checking. Photographing. Watching. Changing. And now... the plants are basically saying: "Thanks for all that. We'll take it from here." 😂🌿 And honestly? I'm perfectly happy with that. The work has been done. Now we watch the show roll out. The plant is growing. The flowers are developing. The genetics are expressing themselves. And all I need to do is remain present enough to respond when she asks for something. That's it. Provide. Observe. Assist. And enjoy. ──────────────────────── 🦄 THE UNICORN STILL HAS HER PERSONALITY ──────────────────────── I really like how recognizable this phenotype has become. When we first started this journey, we didn't know exactly what Frosted Guava Pheno A was going to show us. Now? I think we're getting a pretty clear picture. She's fast. She's beautiful. She's heavy. She's structurally interesting. She's building some beautiful flowers. And she's doing things in her own way. She's definitely earned the little unicorn nickname. 😂🦄 And the more she develops... the more appropriate it becomes. There's something about her flower formation that keeps catching my eye. She's not just another flowering plant in the room. She's Frosted Guava. And she's becoming a very interesting example of what this genetic expression can look like in our environment. ──────────────────────── 💚 SAME ROOM. SAME WORLD. DIFFERENT EXPRESSION. ──────────────────────── And once again... we come back to the heart of the 8×8 Adventure. Twelve different plants. One shared room. One general environmental strategy. One lighting ecosystem. One nutritional philosophy. One 12/12 schedule. And then... twelve completely different stories. That's the magic. The room doesn't tell them exactly how to grow. It gives them the opportunity. The genetics decide what happens next. And Frosted Guava Pheno A has clearly decided that she's going to make the most of that opportunity. She's growing fast. She's stacking. She's becoming heavy. She's developing. And she's doing it beautifully. 🌿🦄💚 ──────────────────────── 💡 THE PHOTONS ARE STILL FLYING ──────────────────────── The lighting setup remains part of the same upgraded environment we've been running throughout the room. Those additional Future of Grow Black Series 600W fixtures are still helping expand our lighting capability. We're not simply throwing maximum power at the plants. We're controlling the output and providing the room with the photons it needs. Approximately: 💡 ~59% power from the plug with around: ☀️ ~1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy with natural variation depending on plant height and position. And Frosted Guava is clearly making use of that artificial sun. 😂☀️🦄 She's taking those photons... and turning them into flowers. Lots of flowers. That's the beauty of it. We provide the sun. She decides what to do with it. ──────────────────────── ☀️ MORE LIGHT DOESN'T MEAN MORE WORK ──────────────────────── One thing I really like about the lighting upgrade is that it doesn't mean we have to constantly change what we're doing. The capability is there. The control is there. And now we simply watch how the plants respond. Frosted Guava doesn't need us standing beside her saying: "Come on, girl!" 😂 She's already moving. She's already doing it. She's already developing. So... let her. ──────────────────────── ⚗️ THE NUTRITION IS STARTING TO COME DOWN ──────────────────────── And now we're entering another little transition in the room. The nutritional program is beginning to decrease. Nothing dramatic. Nothing unusual. Just the normal progression of the run. We've been feeding the plants through their development, and now we're starting to bring that nutrition down as part of the next stage of the journey. For me, this is another sign that the grow is slowly moving from: "Build." toward: "Finish." We're not there yet. But we're getting closer to that part of the story where the grower becomes less concerned with building new structure... and more interested in watching the plants complete what they've already built. And Frosted Guava has certainly built something worth watching. 🌸🦄 ──────────────────────── 🌿 THE BIG WORK IS DONE ──────────────────────── This is probably the biggest message I want to leave in this week's report. The work is done. At least... the big work. 😂 We've established the plants. We've created the structure. We've managed the room. We've made our adjustments. We've provided the lighting. We've provided the nutrition. We've watched the plants develop. Now? We're mostly observing. Because you reach a point in every grow where trying to constantly "do something" can become more of a distraction than a benefit. The plant has a job. The plant is doing it. Our job is to make sure she has what she needs... and not get in the way. And Frosted Guava? She's doing her job beautifully. ──────────────────────── 👑 GIVE HER WHAT SHE ASKS FOR ──────────────────────── So that's basically where I am with this girl now. I'm not trying to tell her what to do. I'm listening. 😂 If she asks for support... we support. If she needs something... we respond. If something needs adjusting... we adjust. Otherwise? I leave her alone. Because she's showing me that she knows what she's doing. She's growing. She's stacking. She's getting heavier. She's developing. And she's doing it without needing me to constantly interfere. That's a pretty good relationship between grower and plant. 🌿💚 ──────────────────────── 🌸 WATCHING THE SHOW ROLL OUT ──────────────────────── There is something incredibly satisfying about this part of a grow. You reach the point where the major decisions have already been made. And suddenly... you get to sit back and watch. The flowers develop. The plant matures. The colours evolve. The resin continues to develop. The structure becomes more pronounced. And eventually... we arrive at harvest. But we're not rushing there. We're still watching. Still documenting. Still learning. Still enjoying the process. And Frosted Guava is giving us a beautiful show to watch. 🦄🌸🎭 ──────────────────────── ❄️ THE FROSTED PART OF FROSTED GUAVA ──────────────────────── And of course... we can't forget the frost. 😂❄️🦄 The flowers continue to carry that beautiful resinous character that made the name Frosted Guava feel so appropriate. The closer you look... the more detail you find. The trichomes. The pistils. The flower structure. The textures. The little details that make each cola its own little landscape. This is another reason I love having the camera around during this stage. The naked eye sees: "Beautiful plant." The camera says: "Wait... come closer." 😂📸 And then suddenly you're lost in the details. ──────────────────────── 📸 THE CAMERA IS DOCUMENTING THE TRANSITION ──────────────────────── This is also where the weekly photographs become particularly valuable. Because we're now moving through a transition. The flowers are more developed. The plant is heavier. The structure is established. And we're beginning to see the plant move toward the next chapter. One week from now... there will be changes. Another week... more changes. And eventually... we'll look back at these photographs and realize just how much happened in between. That's why I love these diaries. We're not just showing the finished product. We're showing the journey. And Frosted Guava has given us a very interesting journey. ──────────────────────── 😂 THE GROWER'S ROLE HAS CHANGED ──────────────────────── Earlier in the run: "Okay, what do we need to do?" Now: "Okay... what does she need?" 😂 That's a big difference. We're no longer trying to create the plant. The plant already exists. We're no longer trying to establish her structure. It's already there. We're no longer trying to convince her to flower. She's flowering everywhere. Now... we're simply supporting the process. And honestly? I really enjoy this part. Because it gives you time to appreciate what you've created. Or... more accurately... what the plant created. 😂🌿 We just helped build the stage. She put on the performance. ──────────────────────── 🦄 STILL MOVING FAST ──────────────────────── And despite everything becoming more mature... she's still moving. That's what surprises me. She's not slowing down into some quiet little corner. She's continuing to develop. She's continuing to gain presence. She's continuing to stack. She's continuing to become more substantial. And I really like the pace she's chosen. She's got momentum. And we're simply letting that momentum carry her forward. No forcing. No rushing. No unnecessary changes. Just... let her go. 🦄🔥🌸 ──────────────────────── 🔍 WHAT AM I WATCHING NOW? ──────────────────────── At this point, my questions are becoming much simpler. 🌸 How much more will she build? ⚖️ How much more weight will those flowers gain? ❄️ How much more frost will develop? 🎨 How will her colours continue to evolve? 🦄 And how will this little unicorn look when she finally decides she's finished? Those are the interesting questions now. Not: "Can she do it?" She already is. Now we're simply watching how far she takes it. ──────────────────────── 💚 NO NEED TO FORCE THE ENDING ──────────────────────── And that's something I want to keep reminding myself of. We're getting closer. But we're not going to force an ending. The plant will tell us. The flowers will tell us. The development will tell us. Until then... we watch. We maintain. We provide what she asks for. And we enjoy the ride. Because the harvest work will come later. And when it does... we'll have plenty of work waiting for us. 😂✂️ But that's another chapter. For now?
