Start of Week 7! Day 44 - 12/12 Looks like I guessed right with the seed swap because this girl has clearly shown she's the LSD-25 this past week. Very excited for my first purple plant since I wasn't able to pull much purple out of my Chocolate Mint OG in my first grow. Glad I have 2 more seeds of this strain so I can give them a better chance at growing up before flower in a future grow. Maf' looks like a Solo Cup Challenge in a 5gal pot 😅 Adjusted the LST and clipped two fan leaves between the top nodes to give the secondary sites a bit more light (Not shown in Day 44 pics) Fed with the same PH Perfect MGB/Molasses mix but upped the MGB to .75ml a gal split between the 3 plants I have going now and given a water chaser to keep the top layer clean from build up. Day 48 - 12/16 Gave another wash out feeding with gallon and a half of Water/Molasses mix split between the LSD and two Cali Snows. Also added D-Earth as a preventative measure on the soil since they're starting to form buds. Trying to avoid any future harmful chems or oils on the flowers if some little buggers decide to move in plus it kind of adds silica when you water it in. Pulled the plants out for a good look and slight LST adjustment. Not much to do on the LSD-25 since she set flower early and the size/structure is locked in. Can only lean and spread to try and get the small amount of bud sites to fatten as much as possible. It is very exciting to watch the purple starting to form in the buds and leaves. She won't be big but I'll try and make her pretty fo sure 😈 Not too much smell to her yet but it could also be due to the fact that the Cali Snows I have are starting to get their stank on and probably overpowering anything the LSD is throwing out. Day 50 - 12/18 Biggest feed so far! Split 1.5ml each of PH Perfect MGB kit and 2 tsp across 2 gallons of feeding solution. LSD-25 got 0.5ml each + 1tsp Molasses and chased with a couple more litres (You imperial American's got me all messed up on this site) Will give a day to dry a bit before giving the top layer of soil a spray down with water to get rid of any residue then top with a D-Earth sprinkle and let sit until it's time for another feed. This is the fun phase of having to take pictures every day or else you don't notice just how big the buds are starting to get day by day! Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. De groeiperiode heeft ze doorgebracht op de vensterbank in de volle zon achter het raam(vegetation). Toen ze wat groter werd en de bloemetjes uitkwamen heb ik haar in de tent geplaatst onder een ledlamp van 600 watt van aliexpress, omdat het de laatste weken voornamelijk bewolkt was. De LST heeft haar geen kwaad gedaan, ze reageerde goed op het buigen en trekken. Ik heb haar verwend met de producten van Plagron en Spa Reine mineraalwater (PH6). Omdat ik haar in een air-pot van 38 liter heb geplant had ik verwacht dat ze een veel groter wortelstelsel zou hebben, maar dit is niet het geval zoals je kan zien in het filmpje. Dit was mijn eerste grow en ben super tevreden met het eindresultaat. Heb haar geknipt en opgehangen en wanneer alles droog is zal ik dit verslag voltooien. Ben zeer benieuwd naar de smaak. Wordt vervolgd... tot snel. 18 juli | de ganja van de lijn afgehaald, dikke takken weggeknipt en gewogen. 61 gram ben ik zeer tevreden mee🙂 Zojuist de eerste joint gerookt, de smaak is zoals je van Northern Light mag verwachten echt klassiek old school, kruidig, aardeachtig en het effect is op de bank hangend voor je uit staren. Na een maand in potten curen is de smaak nog voller en lekkerder. Growdiaries rocks, geweldige concept van een wereldwijde gemeenschap van kwekers.

Alright ladies and gents, finished shooting the last scenes for my Christmas video contest 😅 I had a couple of divas on set, and you'll see who I'm talking about.. lol Alright; all three girls are getting ready for chop, it has been a lovely time and I've been patient, but I also wanted to make sure that I'm harvesting at the correct time. I purchased a jewel loupe off of Amazon and to my surprise all three girls had amber trichromes mixed with milky trichs. I went ahead and fed lightly and will be harvesting by day 75. I'll update with pictures of the trimmed flower before hanging. June 28 - They are doing great, We switched to the recommended amount of nutrients for flowering, Also 2 air stones I ordered have come in so now those are on 24/7 with the nutrient water in a 5 gallon bucket. June 29 - Still just growing away, I am still feeding roughly 3L per plant of nutrient water every 24-36hr depending on how dry they feel. June 30 - Totally forgot to take pictures/videos today. I gave them there daily watering and they are still just growing away. They are in flower now I believe! July 1 - Awesome to see this amount of progression. Tons of hairs and a decently even canopy. There is a small smell coming from in the room! July 2 - Again I forgot to take pictures, But as always they are still just growing away. so far so good! July 3 - Tons of growth and they are starting to become uneven. I don't have a ton of time so I think I will leave them for another week before doing some LST or HST. Tons of colas forming, lots of hairs and they are starting to have a heavier smell! So far so good! July 4 - Same thing as yesterday, still growing away, Ive turned the lights up to 100% now and I have removed the SF-1000 as I needed it for another project! She's staying shorter, that's her genetics -good old NL. Very excited for the strain, the flower that I currently have is my favorite smelling strain ever. I hope this phenotype smells like that. It's one of those strains that you keep smelling over and over again, it just keeps luring me back with that beautiful smell.

📅 Week 11 – Day 76 / FLO42 Conditions are still challenging – warm and humid, making it hard to maintain a high VPD. This week I removed some fan leaves to improve airflow between the buds. Despite the tough climate, the flowers are swelling nicely, and the trichome coverage is looking great – no complaints here. The forecast says a cooler and rainy week is coming, so I'm hoping to push them further into ripening with the help of a dehumidifier. We keep moving forward – the finish line is getting close! 💪
