Her buds are getting huge. The trichomes are everywhere now and the smell is amazing. I had to add a lot of string just to support the branches. This strain is growing so incredible, I love it. I wish I had more of this strain. It was my only seed for now. Very happy (10/10)

He elegido una red metálica. Es muy fácil de instalar y permite un control eficaz de las plantas. El resto es igual a cualquier cultivo hidropónico. Subo el nivel de nutrientes cada día.

November 4th: First day of 12/12. Clones from this GDP mother. Decided to do a laid back run so some friends and clients can decide if they want cuts. I'm not shooting for a big yield, just enough to smoke with people and have my brother press some into live rosin. They are under a Hortibloom Solux 800. It's been water only, so far. The clones are almost 2 months old, including the two week rooting time I give every clone to establish. No control over heat and humidity, at the moment. My brother said he has a dehumidifier I can use, so that will help. I need to dig out my little electric heater, but can't manage to find it. I'm thinking I gave it away a while ago. Time to get another one, I guess. I'll do an update at the end of this week. This is just to show where the clones are at this point in time so I can gauge progress and have it recorded. November 11th: The clones are filling out and looking great. It's officially the end of week 1 flower and everything is rolling right along. Just water throughout the week. Turned the light up 20%, so it's sitting at 60% intensity from now until nugs start stacking. I'm not sure if I'll be able to turn this light past 80% at all, to be honest. Especially if I'm not supplementing c02. Got a heating source established and finally hooked a hose up to a water main. Now I don't have to lug around 5 gallon buckets full of water and it's amazing.

What can I say. A truly nice looking plant. The smell is amazing and the taste really is something special. This will only improve with curing. The high is very pleasant and will grow this again.

How is it growing, my fun(k) loving friends? ***INFO*** For more on my setup, why it was monster cropped, and how I made the canopy, see Germination page and subsequent weeks. They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! Thank you for checking in on our journey, all the love, support, and compliments were a true motivation, a very needed distraction, and guidance for me and for Sunshine. Big hug, lots of love and take care! ***UPDATE*** The final weigh-in is ready. I hadn't seen them in a week, because of my vacation. The humidifier I set up, had failed. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Guessed weights in the competition: - @hashy : 0 grams - @MrHyde : 198 grams - @JamMAKEcan : 224 grams - @TrickOrTrip : 260 grams - @Greeneysgrow: 312.5 grams - @Ohey_fu_kyu: 350 grams - @Puffs4Pipes: 385 grams - @Hempkid : 605 grams - @DoDrugs420 : 621 grams TrickorTrip was closest!! Congratulations!!! I will be contacting you to get the seeds with you!! Thanks for playing to all the others and better luck next time, I will give away some seeds again!! Summary: Cost of setup: 850 euro Cost of nutrients and soil: 125 euro Cost of seeds: None they were cloned Cost of power: 150 euros in the power bill Total cost: 1125,-- for setup and this run. I smoke for medical reasons and it's used for ritual and healing purposes, never to be sold, as it loses its magical properties. Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. Overall conclusion: I think we can call this a succes. Made back my investment, my cost per grow and we saved the environment. Thanks for all the love, tips and support! Couldnt have done this on my first indoor LED grow, without you!! Wish you were here to smoke a fat one, some good conversation about our hobby and now... I'm hungry.... See you on the next one!! Jetzt heißt es beobachten, ruhig bleiben und den Stretch arbeiten lassen 🌱 🌸 Flowering Day 1 – Flip to 12/12 Yesterday we officially switched to 12/12, starting the flowering phase. The plants are now entering the stretch period and slowly transitioning into bloom mode. This morning they received a full watering with a transition feed using Crazy Hills Nutrients to help them move smoothly into flowering. Nutrients used (Crazy Hills): Upthrive (Grow Fertilizer) – still included lightly for the transition phase Prosper (Bloom Fertilizer) – introduced to start flowering nutrition Spark (Flowering Stimulant) – added to support early flower development Elix (All-in-One Booster) – extra support within the mix Today I also did some defoliation, removing selected fan leaves to improve airflow and allow more light to reach lower growth. The goal is to send them into stretch with a cleaner, more open structure. The plants still show slight stress from training and the recent flip, which is totally normal at this stage. The main goal now is to keep conditions stable and let them settle into flower. Training / Setup LST remains in place to maintain an even canopy. The two plants in the back (Roswell Code) were opened up and spread out for better light penetration. Goal is a flat, even canopy going into stretch. I decided to flip now because I’ll be away over the weekend, so this timing keeps everything stable while I’m gone. Now it’s time to watch the stretch and let them do their thing.🍀

Late update, ran into some issues with the roots but the end product is still decent. Will make some tweaks next time, the problem was my transplant. I didn’t put the plants down deep enough and the soil was compacted to add. Plants start tipping over and nearly derooted when buds got heavier. Also was using too much nutes, will be switching to coco. Don’t think I used too much, soil just retained a lot of the nutes and water. Hoping coco will solve that issue for me.

***Sponsored Grow*** = Medic || https://medicgrow.com || Grow = ***Sponsored Grow*** Ok big update this week, I finally edited the footage of the lights and got their unboxing photos processed, this took way longer then expected and should have been done on germination or week 1 entry but better late then never. You can really see how the lights shine in comparison to my older ones. The brightness of the leds is next level and I can use their V1 spectrum from seed to harvest. Its a great balance of red and blue in a full spectrum light. The medic grow mini sun 2 is a all purpose light that I can see myself getting lots of use out of in the future. Plus they fit in my tent just as snug as my last ones and that's a big thing for me, I don't like dim corners. I am using the lights at 80% dim level. this will be raised to 100% when they enter flower :D First time useing lights I can dim. they also have an onboard timer attached to them, I will be playing aorund with this to see if its something I want to use in the coming weeks, I all ready have all the external timers so I can see how this is a useful tool for anyone starting off without them. On top of all this I also transplanted my plants into their final pots. they went from a .7-.8L to a 2gal or 7.5L, all the root balls on the plants where perfect, nice white roots, maybe a bit compacted for the size and might explain why I am having some issues with them but healthy none the less. I think they will not start to grow a bit better and I will see less issues moving forward. I still have yet to get a new PH pen but I am blindly guessing the PH by adding 2 drops of phosphoric acid ph down per 1gal of feed solution. it seems to be working out just fine. Till next week. ***Sponsored Grow*** Official Website: https://medicgrow.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/medicgrowled Twitter: https://twitter.com/medicgrow Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/medicgrow420/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNmiY4F9z94u-8eGj7R1CSQ Growdiaries: https://growdiaries.com/grower/medicgrowled https://growdiaries.com/grow-lights/medic-grow

🗓️ Week 8 Flower, week 14 total 🍊 🍪🌲 Mandarin Cookies #2 (back right) is finishing up. MC #1 (back left) & MC #3 (Center) still have probably another solid week to fatten up. All MC’s are on a diet of water only, PH 6.2 🥈🥦 Silver Kush #1 (front left) has a solid week left. SK #2 (front right) is pretty far behind. I’ll probably just cut #2 down and dry it where it’s at, when I cut SK #1. I can’t postpone my next grow just to let the small one get a few more grams. More than likely it’ll all go in the bubble bags. I hope to have them all cut and drying by next week. ✂️ 🌲 💧 🗓️ Feeding schedule for S.K. since MCs are water only: 1 gallon water/nutes per 2 plants every other day PH 6.2 MC’s are on water only Flush. PH 6.2 ⛏️ Soil: (1.5 C.F.) Fox Farm Ocean Forest, mixed with (1.5 C.F.) garden soil, fills (5) 5 galllon fabric pots perfectly. (50/50 mix.) 💡 Again, The new version of Spider Farmer SF-4000 is an awesome light, for anyone wondering. Can’t say enough good things about this light! This is my first LED and it seems to be doing fantastic. (The pictures: I re added the overall and video from last week, day 6. It was the final minutes before the light shut off. So pretty close to day 1, week 8...)
