All round a very good plant to grow , one of them stretched but I lollypopped and topped it late into flower due to outgrowing my tent and she took it well, producing absolutely top quality buds covered in milky thricomes and glistening all over the nuggs. Absolutely frosted. The smell at this point was around 7.8 smelling strong of orange and citrus , the main cola nice and dense, with lots of other colas branching off. Easy strain to grow to this point although I did have a calcium deficiency but it was fairly rectified.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 60 days and flowering stage was 70 days total (harvested tops at day 63th) the total weight of dry buds was : top buds 174 G + lower buds 55 G = 229 G my overview of strain with details: the seeds: unfortunately i only got 1 seed cracked out of 5 so i will not know how much this genetic can get different but at least i got the chance to grow once of this wonderful strain the plant : in every stage you can ensure that you are dealing with a high level plant , she will get big so you have to control her height LST and SCROG highly recommended , will grow very well with tick stalks and big fan leaves , has good resistance for stress and will respond very well to stress trainings , she really has gorilla power in herself , fresh buds on plant : buds are very compact and dense even from start , fresh blossoms smells like pineapple and mango , 2 different shades of sweet smells like you hold 2 junks of pineapple and mango in your hand and you smell them together, she is a trichome and resin factory , very very sticky , very oily , strong smell dried buds: very compact and dense , hard as rocks , has dark colors with purple hues inside it , it smells sweet smoke : very smooth and sweet like lollipop , pineapple , mango like , after 2 minutes it'll kick in and you'll get higher and higher with every breath , has a strange and especial high mind high mostly

Beautiful Lemon Kush by female seeds😍all of the airy buds went in with trim to create some CannaButter😍 there is 5oz from wetness, hopefully cure 2oz. Next ones are purple lemonade by fast buds

These girls are busting out the seams. Giving them heroic doses of Calmag and molasses to finish the job off. I just did a Trichome check and we're at 5-10% amber so they are ready to be pulled. These photoperiod plants are ready in under 100 days. The smell is wildly pungent .. thankfully I have my exhaust venting outside for the whole world to enjoy ☮️🇨🇦

I'm 90% sure this one is in her finishing week here. More amber trichromes are coming in daily. I don't wanna push her too far like last time because this strain turned pure amber and kinda lost some crystaly luster during the curing process. My light timer, grow tent, and light upgrades really made a big difference in bud development compared to my last run with Runtz basically leading to bigger more frostier buds. I'm dropping temps lower at night. I give it a couple liters a day to keep the top soil moist. Flushed water comes out 6.8 ish. My CO2 exhale bag was the biggest flop as it was expired and did not activate. I plan on 48 hours darkness before harvest starting today: the day of the eclipse. With the new moon we have a high pressure system that is peaking at night around 1028 dB. Water should be pushed up into the plant from roots. Coupled with lights out....all theoretical witch craft. I have a small 2x2 dark tent pictured which needs to have AC bring in cold fresh air from outside. If no fresh air added the tent gets humid and stagnant after a while. The darkness period is bringing out that strong and sweet 'medicinal' smell. If you ever tried weed labeled medicinal youd have an idea of what I mean. I guess thats the orange bud/chemo lineage traits. Before lights off the smell was more towards yeast fermentation smell and not soo sweet.

Well, this is week five and these lovely ladies are taking off. The only problems I have had (knock on wood) was the autopots valve sticking and flooding occasionally. I think I have them figured out though. Customer service from them is amazing. I will as always update throughout the week. Take care and happy growing. 🙂

This girl has been one of my favorites. Pineapple express is true to it name looking like a pineapple once it fades the yellow, and the green are very beautiful together smells gassy with pineapple busting out of every tone
