#16 - Sticky Broccoli: Eternity Cup 2026

Abendkraut First week of veg is behind us, and all is looking fine at the moment. Only giving plain water at this point the Royalmix Soil already provides everything needed for the start.

Abendkraut As mentioned in the last entry I've repotted the Sticky Broccoli, the roots base is well established and healthy looking. The new pot is filled with the same Royal Mix Plagron Soil and pre humidfied the soil with a water and Power roots mix containing ratio of 1ml/L. Update 25/01: Added pictures after topping

Abendkraut About 4 days after topping the plant, the new branches are growing out. The tent seems to already reach it size limit, I will move it out of the tent the coming week. I added some nutrients to the water. Terra Grow, Sugar Royal and some Power Roots.

Abendkraut A month into this grow and all is looking good for now. She is growing a nice sturdy structure that can hopefully allow nice tight buds to grow. I removed the two lowest branches completely and some of the large lower fan leaves. I increased the volume of water I gave daily to 0.7L and add nutrients every 3 days.

Abendkraut 5th week of veg: I'm happy with the current structure and spread of tops. I had to pull the light even higher she is growing tall already, can't wait to see how tall she gets once in flower. Speaking from flowering, I will switch the light cycle to 12/12 during the next days. So next weeks dairy entry will be the first in flowering.

Abendkraut So I switched the lights to 12/12 cycles midweek and for now no real signs of flowering are visible, more important no sign of hermies , all hairs no balls ^^

Abendkraut Not quite sure what is going on, the switch to 12/12 light cycles was done over 2 weeks ago and yet I barely see any sign that she is flowering. The very first pistils just popped out but mostly is keeps gaining height.

Abendkraut She just can't seem to strop stretching, 140cm (or 120cm if you don't count the pot). I did everything I could at my original growing area but had to relocate her due to the size. Now she got amble room to not only stretch in height but also more space for branches. I started adding Green Sensation to my Nutrients mix. 1ml/L as recommended and will be added until the last week.

Abendkraut Ok she done with stretching and switched over to increasing bud size. The new room is better suited for with controlled humidity and airflow.

Abendkraut At this point all is going well, the flowers started to gain more trichomes. I kept the same nutrients as the previous week and kept it to 3 times a week. She does drink quite a lot about 1 to 1.2 Liters a day which is great. Hope you enjoy the small video, first time I edit it for growdiaries.

Abendkraut I harvested my other plants and moved this one into my main tent. Watering wise I have kept all the same as the previous week.

Abendkraut Another great week, she is definitely enjoying the new tent with all the free space. Used some cord to pull them away from being right under the lights. And yes the light is attached at the highest possible level. For the remaining seed I'll probably top a lot more or force it down with a scrog. Managing the height is a new challenge I didn't expect. (I read the strain description a bit late ^^)

Abendkraut We are nearing the end of growth. For the coming week I will stop adding nutrients to the water and keep an eye on those trichomes.

Abendkraut Nearing the end, the past week I only gave plain water and yesterday added 2ml/L of Flawless Finish. The tent is filled with notes of citrus. Buds are getting heavier and require support (blue vinyl cord visible in pictures).

Abendkraut 22/04: Harvest day. Videos of defoliation are coming. I cut her down and defoliated the whole canopy. Now started the drying phase...see you in a week.
