๐Ÿ‘‘ 8ร—8 Adventure โ€“ Week 13 ๐ŸŒฟ Godfather OG โ€“ Pheno B ๐Ÿ’จ Big Mama Is Still Hereโ€ฆ And She's Getting Louder ๐Ÿ‘‘๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ”ฅ Hello everyone, and welcome back to another chapter of the 8ร—8 Adventure! ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’š And yes... I have a confession. ๐Ÿ˜‚ This week, I got distracted by her sister. Because while Godfather OG Pheno A decided to make herself VERY known with her smell... I was apparently too busy paying attention to the loud girl. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘ƒ๐Ÿ’จ And somehow... Big Mama Pheno B escaped the camera. Again. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ“ธโŒ So no dedicated photo session for her this week. But before anyone thinks we've forgotten about this beautiful girl... NO. Absolutely not. She's right there. She's clearly visible in the room footage. And honestly, anyone who has been following this diary already knows exactly who she is. She's Big Mama. She's big. She's beautiful. She's present. She's substantial. She's doing exactly what she has been doing throughout this entire journey. And she's still looking damn good. ๐Ÿ‘‘๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒธ So this week we're going to do something slightly different. No photo gallery. No individual portraits. Just a little reminder that the Big Mama is still standing there in the jungle... doing her thing... and quietly becoming louder herself. Let's give this girl the spotlight she deserves. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ‘‘ WEEK 13 โ€“ BIG MAMA IS STILL BIG MAMA If you've been following this diary from the beginning, you already know this girl. You don't need me to introduce her. You know who she is. Godfather OG Pheno B. Our Big Mama. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘‘๐ŸŒฟ She's one of those plants where you don't need a close-up photograph to recognize her. You see her in the room footage... and immediately: "There she is." ๐Ÿ˜‚ She's got presence. She's got size. She's got structure. She's got flowers. She's got that unmistakable Godfather OG personality. And even though this week doesn't have her usual collection of dedicated photographs, she hasn't disappeared. Not even close. She's still right there. Still developing. Still filling her space. Still moving toward the final stages. And still looking beautiful. WE MISSED THE PHOTO SESSION Let's just admit it. ๐Ÿ˜‚ This week... the camera didn't make it to Big Mama. Somehow, I got distracted with her sister and the whole "WHO THE HELL IS MAKING THIS MUCH SMELL?" situation. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘ƒ๐Ÿ”ฅ And by the time I realized it... the dedicated photo session was already gone. So instead of pretending otherwise, we're simply documenting it honestly. There are no dedicated photos of Pheno B this week. But she is clearly visible in the room videos. And if you've been following these reports... you know exactly what you're looking at. You know her structure. You know her position. You know her size. You know those flowers. You know Big Mama. ๐Ÿ‘‘๐ŸŒฟ And next week? She's getting her full photographic treatment again. Promise. THE PLANT IS STILL DOING HER THING And honestly... that's probably the most important part. The missing photographs don't mean anything changed in the plant. She's still developing. Still flowering. Still maturing. Still filling her space. Still doing what she has been doing for weeks. We're now deep into the later flowering stage, and the plant is increasingly focused on finishing what she started. The structure is already established. The flowers are there. The plant has spent the entire grow building herself. Now we're watching that work mature. And Big Mama is doing exactly that. Quietly. Consistently. Beautifully. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ‘‘ SHE'S STILL GOT PRESENCE Some plants you have to search for. Not this girl. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘‘ Even in the room footage... she stands out. She's big. She's substantial. She's got flowers everywhere. And she has that presence that we've been talking about since the beginning. That's one of the reasons I gave her the nickname Big Mama in the first place. She earned it. And she still does. She's not suddenly becoming smaller because we forgot to photograph her. ๐Ÿ˜‚ She's still occupying her space. She's still making herself noticed. And she's still one of those girls that you look at when you walk into the room. "Yep." There's Big Mama. THE FLOWERS ARE STILL BEAUTIFUL Even without this week's close-up gallery, the room footage gives us enough of a look to see that the flowers are continuing their development. They're becoming more mature. The structures are becoming increasingly established. The plant is progressing toward the final stages. And when you know this phenotype from the previous weeks, you can recognize her expression immediately. That's something I really love about these individual diaries. After twelve-plus weeks of watching a plant... you learn her. You don't need a label every time. You know the structure. You know the way she fills the room. You know the way her flowers develop. You know her personality. And Big Mama has become one of those plants for me. AND WHAT ABOUT THE SMELL? Now... this is where things get interesting. Because after being distracted by her sister... I started comparing. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘ƒ And I have to say... Pheno B is definitely not silent. She's not as loud as her sister. Or at least... she doesn't seem to be right now. Her aroma isn't hitting me in quite the same way. But... the profile is very similar. And I'm pretty damn sure she's getting louder by the day. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ‘ƒ That's what I'm noticing. She's developing her own aromatic presence. Maybe she's simply taking her time. Maybe she's going to surprise us later. Maybe her sister is just naturally more aggressive with the aroma. Or maybe... Big Mama is simply warming up. ๐Ÿ˜‚ And if she keeps increasing at this rate... we might have another loud girl on our hands. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ‘ƒ SAME FAMILY โ€“ DIFFERENT VOLUME This is another beautiful little lesson from the 8ร—8 Adventure. Two phenotypes. Same general genetics. Same room. Same lighting. Same irrigation. Same nutrition. Same environment. And yet... different expressions. Even the aroma can tell us something. Pheno A is currently making herself VERY obvious. Pheno B? She's more reserved. For now. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘ƒ But the underlying profile feels similar. And that's exactly the sort of thing I love seeing. Because we're not simply asking: "What does Godfather OG smell like?" We're asking: "What does THIS Godfather OG phenotype smell like?" And then... "What does her sister smell like?" And suddenly the answer becomes much more interesting. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ’š BIG MAMA IS STILL LOOKING HEALTHY Despite this week's photographic failure... she's still giving us a beautiful overall impression. She's still carrying herself well. She's still developing. She's still got that substantial structure. And she's still doing exactly what we want her to do at this stage: Finish. There's no reason to manufacture work. There's no reason to interfere just because we don't have a camera in our hands. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Sometimes the best thing you can do is simply observe. And when we look at Big Mama... she's telling us she's okay. She's continuing forward. THE NUTRITION IS STILL MOVING TOWARD THE FINISH As with the rest of the room, we're continuing the gradual transition toward the later stages. The mineral base has already been reduced. Terra Bloom is around: ๐ŸŒฑ 2.0 ml/L with the room EC around: โšก ~2.05 mS/cm The approach remains gradual. No dramatic overnight changes. No "everything stops tomorrow." Just a progressive transition while we watch the plants. And Big Mama is still actively developing. So we're watching her. Listening to her. And allowing her to finish in her own rhythm. THE ARTIFICIAL SUN IS STILL FLYING The upgraded Future of Grow lighting setup remains in place. Two additional Black Series 600W fixtures. Controlled output. Approximately: ๐Ÿ”Œ 59% power from the plug With approximately: โ˜€๏ธ ~1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy. Big Mama is still right underneath that artificial sun. And she's still doing what she has always done... turning photons into plant. ๐Ÿ˜‚โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ‘‘ More capability. More control. Same room. Same experiment. Different genetic response. That's the 8ร—8. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ โ˜€๏ธ BIG PLANT โ€“ THREE-DIMENSIONAL LIGHT And once again, Big Mama is a perfect example of why I don't think about lighting as simply: "How much light does the tent get?" She's a big, three-dimensional plant. Different flowers are at different heights. Different leaves are positioned differently. Different parts of the canopy receive different amounts of direct light. The upper canopy is around that ~1,500 PPFD range. Deeper areas naturally receive less. And the Lumiflora lighting continues giving us another layer deeper into that structure. We're not lighting a flat table. We're lighting a jungle. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐ŸŒฟโ˜€๏ธ And Big Mama is certainly taking advantage of her space. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ”ฌ SAME ROOM โ€“ DIFFERENT ANSWERS This remains the heart of the 8ร—8 Adventure. Twelve plants. One room. Shared environmental philosophy. Shared lighting. Shared irrigation. Shared nutrition. One grower. And twelve completely different answers. Godfather OG Pheno B is giving us hers. She's big. She's vigorous. She's beautiful. She's substantial. She's developing quickly. And now... she's becoming increasingly aromatic. Maybe not as loud as her sister. Yet. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘ƒ๐Ÿ”ฅ But definitely heading in that direction. NEXT WEEK, SHE'S GETTING HER SPOTLIGHT BACK And I promise... next week we're correcting the photographic crime. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿ‘‘ Big Mama will be back with: ๐ŸŒฟ Full-plant photographs ๐ŸŒธ Flower portraits ๐Ÿ’Ž Close-ups ๐Ÿ“ธ Her individual progression ๐Ÿ‘‘ Her full spotlight Because she deserves it. This week was simply one of those weird moments where the camera went toward one sister... and somehow forgot the other. It happens. We're human. ๐Ÿ˜‚ But Big Mama isn't going anywhere. She's right there. Still shining. Still growing. Still beautiful. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐ŸŒก๏ธ WEEK 13 โ€“ CURRENT ROOM CONDITIONS The 8ร—8 continues under the same general setup: ๐ŸŒธ Flowering โ€” Week 13 ๐Ÿ’ก Light schedule โ€” 12/12 โ˜€๏ธ Upper-canopy PPFD โ€” ~1,500 ๐Ÿ”Œ Future of Grow Black Series output โ€” ~59% from the plug ๐ŸŒก๏ธ Day temperature โ€” ~26.5โ€“27ยฐC ๐ŸŒ™ Night temperature โ€” ~25โ€“26ยฐC ๐Ÿ’ง Relative humidity โ€” ~60โ€“61% ๐ŸŒฑ Substrate temperature โ€” ~25โ€“26ยฐC ๐Ÿ’ฆ Nutrient solution temperature โ€” ~25ยฐC โš—๏ธ pH โ€” approximately 6.0 โšก EC โ€” ~2.05 mS/cm ๐Ÿ’จ COโ‚‚ โ€” ~693 ppm ๐Ÿ’ง Irrigation โ€” ~1.4โ€“1.45 L/plant/24h ๐ŸŒฑ Pot size โ€” 15 L Same room. Same environment. Same artificial sun. Same irrigation. Same nutritional transition. Different Big Mama. And she's still doing beautifully. IS BIG MAMA GOING TO GET LOUDER? That's now another question I'm genuinely curious about. Because I think she is. Her sister is currently stealing the aromatic spotlight. No question. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ‘ƒ But Pheno B has a very similar profile. And I'm noticing more and more presence from her as the days pass. So I'm not counting her out. Not even remotely. Maybe she's just taking the scenic route. Maybe she needs a little more time. Maybe her final expression will surprise us. That's the fun part. We don't know yet. And I'm not going to invent an ending before the plant gives us one. Let's watch. Let's smell. Let's document. And eventually... let's find out. THE FINAL CHAPTERS ARE GETTING CLOSER We're getting deeper into the run now. The flowers are established. The plants are mature. The colours are changing. The resin is becoming more visible. And the nutritional programme is beginning its gradual transition. Big Mama is moving along with the rest of the room. Some girls are ahead. Some are behind. Some are louder. Some are quieter. Some are changing colour. Some are staying greener. And that's exactly why this project has been so much fun. There's no single timeline. There's twelve. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ‘‘ BIG MAMA DOESN'T NEED A PHOTO TO BE BIG MAMA This week has actually reminded me of something. The photographs are important. They're documentation. They're the visual record. But they're not the plant. The plant is still there. And when you have followed her for twelve weeks... you know her. You recognize her. You know what you're looking at. And Big Mama is one of those girls. She's unmistakable. She's substantial. She's beautiful. She's present. She's doing exactly what she can do. And honestly... that's enough. The photographs will come next week. For now... we let her shine in the room footage. ๐Ÿ‘‘๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’š โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ โค๏ธ FINAL THOUGHTS โ€“ THE BIG MAMA IS STILL SHINING Week 13. And yes... we got distracted. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Her sister started making enough noise with her aroma to steal the attention for a moment. And somehow... Big Mama lost her photo session. I'm sorry, Your Majesty. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ“ธ But the good news? She's still beautiful. She's still big. She's still present. She's still developing. She's still filling her space. She's still carrying those beautiful flowers. And she's still becoming increasingly aromatic. She's not as loud as her sister... at least not yet. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘ƒ But the profile is very similar. And I'm pretty convinced she's getting louder by the day. So perhaps we're simply watching the beginning of another aromatic story. And that's something I'm very interested in. Because this girl has already shown us so much. She's been one of the substantial plants in this room from the beginning. She's been vigorous. She's been beautiful. She's claimed her space. She's developed her own expression. And now... she's approaching the final chapter. So let's not rush her. Let's not force her. Let's simply watch. And next week... we bring the camera back. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿ‘‘ Big Mama gets her full spotlight again. Because she deserves it. Until then... Keep shining, Big Mama. Keep doing exactly what you're doing. Keep filling that corner. Keep developing those beautiful flowers. And keep getting louder. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘ƒ๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ‘‘ We're watching. We're learning. And we're enjoying every minute of it. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ™ THANK YOU A huge thank you to everyone following the 8ร—8 Adventure here on GrowDiaries. ๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒฑ Thank you to Zamnesia for giving us the opportunity to explore these Godfather OG genetics and document these individual phenotypes throughout the journey. Thank you to Plagron for supporting the garden with the growing media and nutrition throughout this run. A massive thank you to Future of Grow for supplying the Black Series lighting and especially for providing the two additional Black Series 600W fixtures we're testing in this room. More lighting capability. More control. More photons. And another fascinating variable for this experiment. Thank you to Lumiflora for helping bring additional light deeper into the canopy and allowing us to think about this garden as the three-dimensional space that it really is. Thank you to TrolMaster for helping monitor and manage the environment behind the scenes. And finally... thank you to everyone following these girls week after week. Every comment. Every question. Every message. Every person stopping by. You're all part of this crazy adventure. Twelve plants. One room. One shared environment. Twelve completely different stories. And Godfather OG Pheno B? She's still writing hers as Big Mama. ๐Ÿ‘‘๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’Ž This week she may not have had the dedicated photographs she deserved... but she's still right there. Still big. Still beautiful. Still present. Still developing. Still shining. And possibly... getting louder. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘ƒ๐Ÿ”ฅ Next week... we bring the camera back. Big Mama gets her portraits. Her close-ups. Her flower shots. Her full report. And the spotlight goes right back where it belongs. On her. ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒธ Until next week... Growers Love, my friends. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’š Happy growing, take care everyone... and Big Mama? I'm sorry about the camera. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿ‘‘ We'll make it up to you next week. See you next week in the 8ร—8 jungle. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ’จ

Day one of flower for the London Pound Cake and Purple Shah. I moved the Blueberry Muffin into another veg tent for a week or two. Theyโ€™re early finishers so when I move them back everything should harvest around a similar timeline. Fed them all with an Organic Alf Alfa seed sprout fermentation. The triacantanol in the Alf Alfa makes these things go crazy if you donโ€™t overdo it. Add some coconut water and aloe and youve got yourself organic plant steroids. The growth rate will cause you to have an increased need for ca mg and nutrients which in organics may not be readily available. Top dress or feed ahead of the curve.

So this plant has been flowering for about 10-14 days. This Gaia green is super easy and as long as I dont get fungus gnats and the buds turn out well, it will be my new way of providing nutrients. Iโ€™m here to make my life easier. I love the fact that I get water, ph to a general range and pour in. I am starting a FastBuds Afghan Kush with Gaia green that will not have such a lax approach. Otherwise, this girl is just on cruise control. Water, Gaia green top dress when need and harvest when done. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Happy Growing ๐ŸŒฑ

Flower tent is ac infinity 4x8 tent. With two spider farmer sf-4000. This tent has the exhale 360 co2 grow bag. The nutrients are not what each plant receives. Each stage gets its appropriate nutrients. I will be going back and trying to name each plant in the 2-7 feeding

Day 1: Paper towel method was used. Made sure plastic container stayed in a dark and warm place. Day 2: Seed has cracked but no tail yet. Day 3: Started to worry seed wonโ€™t germinate so top tissue paper was replaced with new dry one. Used warm water to wet the new paper towel. After 12 hrs crack in seed got wider little tail started to appear. Day 4: Repeated method used in Day 3. Warm water used on new paper towel. Day 5: Germinated seed placed in jiffy peat pellet and placed in propagator. Day 6: no change yet. Put propagator in window for sunlight. Day 7: no change so decided to intervene. Checked to see if seed cracked. Slowly removed the remaining shell. Covered with soil. Day 8: Seed has sprouted. Put propagator under the sun for 9 hrs, and after it stsrted to open its first leaves. Day 9: Sheโ€™s enjoying the sun. Day 10: Last day in the sun. Soil mix prepared and washed with water (ph 6.5). Transfer to 15L fabric pot tomorrow.

I harvested the bigger strawberry banana who grown under the CMH all time, I will updated next week once dried. I put the second one (after a vegetative fase with sun from windows and sea breathe, following than the others plants on the border of the garden) in the room where I finished the photoperiod strains and gave her 2/3 week of 400W HPS all for her ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป Now I will let her finish the flush under the CMH since I set free one place ๐Ÿค™ The Runtz Muffin got poor light because Skywalker grown as a monster, the scrog net for sure didnโ€™t helped me to raise up the pot nearer to lamp ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Next time I will use scrog net only if I grow same strain but I think I will not use it, I prefer have plants free to move in the garden ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿป Happy smoking to all growers ๐Ÿ’š

Had a great week, started to lollipop all of my plants, cut nitrogen all the way back and am sticking to Big Buds nutrients. The smell is already amazing, very skunky.

She's looking gorgeous on her 3rd week it's just a wonderful strain to grow, let's see how she performs,I prepare a super soil mix using guanokalong organic dry amendments so I can't tell you about mililiters exactly because that's just not the way I like growing,I also add lactobacillus which are an awesome bacteria, every time I add lactobacillus to their water they just love it,the next day they get suuper green, obviously all the bacteria and humic acids from batguano worm castings and all of that helps,so I recomend if you're growing organic investigate a little about lactobacillus and how to prepare the lactobacillus liquid. Wish you all the best in your projects guys! ๐Ÿ’šโ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŒฑ

Topped both plants this week and started to train them with some stakes. Not sure if I will do a second topping or if this will be the only one, give this is an auto. In the absence of a scrog net, I'm using some stakes to try and spread the plant as evenly as possible. Still watering very little and around the sides, with the idea of making those roots stretch. I'm still using Root Juice and plant to keep using it for a few more weeks. From next watering I will start to introduce BioGrow, BioBloom and TopMax and cut out Acti Vera and Bio Heaven for now.

Nothing new to report. The camera I have is t HD, but the friend I have checking everything thinks I should flushing #1 in a week or two and #2 is only a little behind. Iโ€™ll be back home on Day 70, so I know they should be near time for the big chop. This is absolutely not how I expected my first grow to go as I planned to be home (and in country) most of the time. But two of three plants going strong is better than I expected.

This was my second grow ever. I started with a blueberry headband seed from a bud I got from the dispensary. This strain was very easy to grow and very forgiving. Final product had some seeds but wasnโ€™t too bad.

Update week 2 of Bloom
