For the last month, I've been dealing with severe back issues. Not gonna lie, but it's been challenging to keep up with daily DWC chores. That aside, this particular girl also experienced ph swings, so reservoir change end of mid-week 6 flower. I also switched from Fox Farm to GH trio and supplementing with FF Chi Ching during week 5 and into week 6 w/ppm running at 800. Next bucket change, I will begin lowering ppm to 500-520 range. I'll continue bringing ppm down right up until flush. She's finishing nice, given what little I've been able to do physically. Ganja Farmer Seed genetics, so happy with first run using this breeders gear and happy w/results so far being this is my first attempt at DWC. On day 1 I changed out my reservoir, and added my bloom nutes, adjusted my light schedule to 12/12 and defoliated the plants. I adjusted the reservoirs PH to 6.1 My hope is that by flipping this cultivar earlier than my last run, I will not run out of vertical space ;). On day 2 I adjusted my reservoirs PH down to 6.1. On day 3 the clawing is almost completely gone. I adjusted the reservoirs PH down to 6.1. On day 4 the reservoir's PH is at 6.1. I defoliated the plants removing anything blocking lower growth to increase light and air penetration of my mains. On day 5 the reservoirs PH is 6.1. On day 6 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir up from 6.0 to 6.3. I will let the PH drift between 6.1-6.3. on day 7 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. I lowered the light intensity from 100% to 85% to give the top of my plant canopy an average PPFD of 700-1000. I plan to reduce the intensity as the plants continue to stretch to keep them in the 800-1000 PPFD range. I just got my first quantum par sensor and I'm really loving the new data it gives me to optimize my lighting.

I have been worried for a while about how close the plant grew to my led lights. The usual recommendation is like 16-20" above , but I can't raise my lights and this plant stretched so fast a couple colas got away from me. As you can see in the photos and video, some are as close as 6-12 inches and because this plant is a slow developer, I think it's starting to Foxtail. In response to this and preparation for upcoming harvest, I lowered the intensity of my light and changed the light schedule from 19/5 to 16/8. I've been lowering the nutrients all week and will be flushing all next week. I've been preparing for trimming and drying, only worry is keeping the correct humidity, but we'll see.

Week 8 of veg she is looking good and green she’s really starting to stretch.

Woche 8 geht los, die Lampen stehen auf 100% Grow und 100% Flower, ich habe ein Netz rein gespannt und nach 1–2 Tagen in der letzten Woche alles weggeschnitten, was unterm Netz war sowie einige Seitentriebe. Somit sollte jeder Hauptstrang maximal 4–5 Seitentriebe haben. Zudem fangen sich die Blüten an zu bilden und es sind deutliche Härchen zu sehen. Update: Tag 5 Woche 9: Die Blüten werden immer größer und harzen schon auf die umliegenden Blätter 😍
