Ciao a tutti! Ho finalmente finito il mio primo giro in idroponica. Dunque, al netto dei miei errori che avevo messo in preventivo, è un metodo davvero ottimo per coltivare. Salta subito all'occhio la velocità palese con cui crescono le piante, molto di più rispetto al metodo classico a terra. A suo favore posso anche dire che lascia molto più pulito il box non avendo terra e quant'altro. I vasi da svuotare sono pratici, mi sono segnato però delle tacche per segnare i livelli a diversi litri, da poter capire come fare quando si deve rabboccare di acqua. Le note dolenti. Beh innanzitutto sconsigliato assolutamente a luglio e agosto per via delle temperature, l'acqua nel vaso dovrebbe stare a 22 gradi al massimo, io stavo almeno a 5 in più. Poi, avendo 35 litri d'acqua in 3 vasi e avendo 10 prodotti da utilizzare nella quantità di 2 ml/l, non posso dire che sia la via più economica. Anche se bisogna valutare anche che, soprattutto in vegetativa, si rabboccano i prodotti anche a distanza di 2 settimane,quindi con ampie pause tra una volta e l'altra. Ho sbagliato a calcolare l'allungamento quando le ho girate in fioritura, si sono allungate almeno il doppio di quello che pensavo e così facendo non si sono formati dei bei fiori apicali grossi, ma tanti fiori sulla stessa ramificazione e quindi ci ho rimesso almeno in impatto visivo di sicuro. Però questa è una cosa che dipende dalla velocità dell'idroponica, la prossima volta lo so e mi comporterò di conseguenza. Nota dolente assai: la muffa. Ho sbagliato a volerla fare nel periodo estivo, fa troppo caldo e per mitigare la temperatura ho usato anche l'umidificatore in fioritura. Errore madornale, ho buttato via 60-70 grammi. Già l'estate scorsa ho avuto problemi di temperatura, la prossima sicuramente non coltiverò, sono stato un cretino.

day 15 of blooming... streching is on full force and getting bigger by the day.... tent is filling up nicely. at the end of the week 3 will do a defoliation for a better airflow and light exposure.

Day 1-7“ 1 BW

Somewhat slacking with detailed photos from this week, been busy with the holidays/ family etc. hopefully should have a little more time to take some good ones for next week.. Not much to say, they are getting quite big! some more lower branches and leaves were removed and I've been watering every other day, about .5-.75 gal per plant until I see some run off and the top looks evenly moist. End of week 1 of flower and there are Lots of white pistils, a pleasant smell (controlled by my filter/vent) and some major stretching happening on the strongest branches. Already raised the light by a few inches twice now too keep the distance over 12 inches from these stretchy ones! 😏 Also found a large healthy looking seed in my grinder that I've saved (Mac 1 supposedly, its good smoke)

Fed Flower Girl Tea this past week 1x. One plant has reached 28in and there are plenty of bud sitings all around. Defoliated a lot (did my version of lollipopping), I wanted to isolate the bud spots for maximum light. Watering every 2 days, plants are drinking up real quick!

I'm thinking another week... Not sure. She's bloody frosty though! 😲

Hello All. I took a lot of pictures. Hope you don't mine, but I had fun. I think everyone likes to see large harvest pictures. It all started back in early January when I took clones of my favorite plants. It was a cold winter here this year, for these parts. So it was mid March when I got the plants out in the greenhouse. The spring was damp and cold too. I found powdery mildew in the garden about 2 weeks before I found it in the greenhouse. I got it on the Skunkberry and the Burmberry, But not on either Amnesia Lemon or the Sister Amnesia Lemon. I was very pleased about that :) I found some spider mites in the last week and a half. I decided to turn up the fans instead of spray. Yes they still spread but very slowly when they can't spin their webs. I didn't find many when I harvested. Everything else went well this season. I found a male Dr. Atomic Northern Lights that I liked. So I'll try to make some seeds with the Amnesia Lemon, Skunkberry and the Burmberry. I'm trying to fatten up the Burmberry. I'm interested to see if the Amnesia Lemon gets fatter buds and carries the P.M. resistance to the seeds, I'm hoping. The tall Sister Amnesia lemon in the middle did cause a drop of production from the plants on either side of it. They were in more shade. Something to work on for next year :) The Skunkberry had the most P.M. I used a new produce that I'm pleased with, it's White Wash frequency altered water. Knocks the P.M. right out. I found that if you put a large tray under where you are spraying you can catch the run off. I could use it a couple of times with no change in effectiveness. It must be the Scottish in me. I try to reuse or recycle as much as possible. Cuts costs, and help make me feel like I'm doing good and helping the planet. My feeding schedule was: I had a 15 gallon half barrel and pump with hoses and nozzles. I filled the barrel with nutrient solution and watered by minuets, 15 for clod days and 25 or 30 minuets on hot days. After 3 or4 days I added water when the solution got low. Mixed new solution once a week, and cleaned the barrel and pump. I also took the hose in the greenhouse and soaked them till run off once a week and measured the ph. I saw a few fungus gnats, but the spiders and nematodes (from my compost I added when I mixed soil) sure help to keep the numbers down. I like to put my buds in a paper bag to dry and cure. Inside I hang the buds for 3 days before putting the buds in paper bags. But it was so hot in the green house that 2 days was more that enough before putting the buds in the paper bags. The bags sat in the greenhouse for 3 days and then went in to the basement to finish. The old hippies told me that they use to put their buds to cure in the middle of a bushel of straw. I seems that the drying buds gives off a gas, that when trapped around the buds helps to take away the bitterness and raunchiness' of the uncured buds. The bags also help in wicking away the moisture of the drying buds, just like the straw did. After a week I check to see if it is dry enough. If the buds are dense the bag might need to be rehung for a few days to finish. I prefer a dryer bud. I like to hear a light crunch when I put a bud in my pipe. In Conclusion: This was my best grow ever! Big thanks to Barneys farm, for great seeds. I've got LSD started and I will try that in the greenhouse next year, 5/5 for mold and pest resistance. I'm very happy with the results. I was concerned because I have 2 rental houses behind me and one of them had a big backyard party at my week 5 of flowering. You could smell the grow by then and I was hoping I wasn't going to get ripped off. I looked through the fence a few days later and saw about 12 large plant pots, growing cannabis. I'm very happy. Whoops.. Lol.. Forgot to update at the beginning of the week also.. But here is what I got... Mid week.. She is doing good.. I defoliated a little toward the end of last week.. She kinda looked like shit, but about 2 - 3 days after she filled herself in nicely.. I flipped to 12/12 also.. Not counting flower weeks till the actually flowers have began forming.. Makes more sense, if you ask me.. End of week.. Not much to report on.. She has popped out a few calyxes and pistils.. Not many yet.. This next week she should start stretching! This is going to be a very interesting grow for sure... On to the next!!!...

End of Week 7 and finally the 2nd 250W Lamp is here!!! Tropicana Cookies going strong, the Skittlez seem to wanna grow a little more before coming into flowering. Will change the Lightning to 12/12 if it doesnt get better. Plants drank wel over 40L of Nutrients this week.

Finally got the temps up to an average of 78°F with the lights on and things turned right around. Someone on here reccomended I try putting a small 250w heater inside the tent with a fan behind it and it worked so shootout to @lionsshare. I took the autos and clones out and put them in the other tent. I have to take cuts of everything in here in case there is something special. It's been non stop work. The video was taken on day 2 of flower. I gave them a 36 hour dark period as well so they should stretch a little more and I might throw a few more plants in if there is room. These are nice and healthy very bushy full plants, I did a little LST on one of them just pulled it back a little to open it up some.
