Weekly Report: Stage 2 – Controlled Drying Process (Bruce Banner) Following the successful harvest of the Bruce Banner, Stage 2 has officially commenced: the controlled drying process. Since this is a highly potent and legendary genetic profile known for its massive resin production and pungent, diesel-sweet terpene mix, the grower is utilizing a very slow and gentle drying program to fully preserve the valuable cannabinoids and aromas. The climate inside the spacious drying room is precisely managed and kept constant at an optimal room temperature of 16 °C (60.8 °F) and a stable relative humidity of 49% to 50%. By maintaining the humidity just under the 50% threshold, any risk of mold formation is completely eliminated. A large, high-performance ventilation system ensures continuous air exchange, while an oscillating fan provides gentle, indirect air circulation throughout the room to prevent stagnant air pockets. During the initial phase, the plants are hanging upside down as whole branches with all their full leaves intact. This method serves as a natural shield, preventing the dense, heavy buds of the Bruce Banner from losing their moisture too quickly. As soon as the flowers reach a certain baseline dryness, they will be carefully removed from the stems and transferred onto a drying net. This deliberate, slow approach guarantees an optimal breakdown of chlorophyll, eliminating harshness and allowing the powerful, distinct flavor profile of the Bruce Banner to truly shine in the final product.

Aug 15: Godfather OG is maturing nicely with a nice 16 cola manifold and nice thick buds starting to fill in. I thought this one might not like the climate here (cool nights) but she is doing great. Here at 53 N latitude the sunlight, particularly UV light, drops quickly after mid-August. i use UV lights from AC Infinity on days with no chance of rain. Seems to help and is easy to setup and teardown daily. These are indoor lights so they need extra attention if you’re ignoring their lawyer warnings and are using them outdoors. 😎

31 Aug. I start the third week of my autoflower. The plant is growing well, but I noticed small yellow spots on the leaf tips, which seem like a mild calcium deficiency. This is probably due to the fact that so far I have been giving water with a slightly low pH, around 6, while the ideal range would be 6.5–7. At the beginning, to lower the ppm of the tap water (which was around 211 ppm), I mixed it with demineralized water. This brought the ppm down to about 109–140, making it harder for the plant to absorb the available calcium. Additionally, the soil I am using, Biobizz Light Mix, is lightly fertilized but does not contain enough calcium to correct this small initial deficiency. For this week, I will not add any fertilizers. I simply want to raise the pH to 6.5 and use water with higher ppm, so the plant can better absorb the nutrients already present in the soil. The lamp is positioned about 35–36 cm from the plant and so far there are no burn issues. Temperatures range between 25 and 30 °C depending on the day, while humidity in the room stays between 40–60%. The humidifier is always on because I keep the window open, but the dehumidifier is not being used, as it is not necessary at the moment. I also have a new oscillating fan arriving to replace the current fixed one, and I’m waiting for a regulable extractor (90–145 m³/h), which will allow me to control the air perfectly during winter if needed. This week my main goals are: Increase the water ppm without overdoing it Adjust the pH to 6.5 Keep observing the plant without adding any fertilizers Everything else seems fine and growth is regular. With these corrections, I expect the new leaves to grow healthy and free of spots. ==UPDATE 31/08== To control the calcium deficiency, I will administer an eggshell solution until I reach 300 ppm (I will boil some eggshells and administer the solution in tap water). ==Update 4 Sept== By mistake, I adjusted the pH twice, once to 7 and once to 8, and obviously the plant immediately showed symptoms of incorrect pH. At the next watering, I'll give Biobizz Grow with a little Biobizz Bloom since the plant has entered pre-flowering. I'll adjust everything to a pH of 6-7 and a ppm of 450-500.

9 weeks into this grow. Packing on the mass for sure. Main buds are the size of my hand. The smell hits you hard and is very very strong now. Very happy with the ease of this plant. Still have had no issues whatsoever. I think the plan is to harvest this weekend at 10 weeks total.

Well, it's been three weeks since the last visit to the site, and I have to say that the girls have grown significantly in size! Defoliation has proven beneficial for them! It's also clear how well Plagron bat guano is working. As you can see, the plants have already begun to flower and gain mass. I want to note that the Fast Version from Sweet Seeds really started flowering earlier than the regular versions, giving me a two-week head start. This gives hope to avoid mold during harvest. Overall, I am very pleased! I'm considering adding Bud Candy from Advanced Nutrients to enhance sugar production in the flowers and make them taste better!

So I suspect the strain isn't all that stable but I'm having a fun time with the variation. They smell wonderful, very fruity, with cream and pepper, though Weirdo has stronger sweet spice scents over fruit. She might be around a lot longer than the other two to finish her run. My lil' Eldritch monstrosity :)

I will update the dose as they grow and develop a bigger hunger. (Not sure what's wrong with Overdose #2, bit mutated, we'll see how she gets on 😅) Video updates 👌💚 Day 26 26/07/24 Friday De-chlorinated watering pH 6 with 5ml calmag to 5L water. Watered each with 250ml and had small run off. I will continue to feed/water with small run offs to help prevent salt build ups. Video update.

On the 15/10 it was my fifth day in a row without any more signs of pollensacks or nanas! It really is worth the try is you think, you got something special on your hands. If you can, better isolate it anyways, I just didn't have the room for this. Everything else also going great and the Double Dunked is starting to show why this run is called "Purple Beauties". From now on every week was going to blow my mind on just how beautiful this grow could turn out. Also did some defoliation again
