Raspberry Cough and Candyland are sprinting out in front of the holy punch. They both seem stronger and denser. I’ll do a second run of the holy punch next grow to see if I can get a better outcome!

On to another week. The plants are looking and growing great. I am still adding roughly 26L of water to the reservior each day. On the evening of 9/15, I turned the lights up to full blast. I also turned the UV light bars up to 10. The lights will remain at these levels for the next two weeks of flower. The Black Maple 22 has been and is continuing to show signs of light stress. These signs have not gotten any better or worse since I turned up the CO2. The Black Cherry Guava and Mousse X do not show any signs of light stress. I turned the dehumidifier down to the 40% setting (the lowest setting on the unit) on 9/18. This should help the leaf surface be at a more ideal VPD for late flower. The humidity was around 50% and I'd like it closer to 40% for late flower. On 9/18, I realized the water level had not dropped in my reservior although the valve was open. I ended up cleaning the filter and emptying the reservior for a thorough rinse and quick scrub. I also cleaned the valve. Once I was finished, I added roughly 52L of water to the reservior along with Regenaroot and Headmasta. Cleaning the reservior solved my issue, but the plants did go through another dryback which probably lasted about 24 hours. The plants don't seem to have minded. This was the third or fourth accidental dryback this grow. I replaced the CO2 on 9/19. The plants were without CO2 for a total of less than 6 hours of lights on after the previous tank had run out.

ENGLISH KEVS_BEST – Week 8 Flowering Phase (Run 3) Week 8 marks the beginning of the final ripening phase. Sherbzooka is showing clear signs of senescence: sugar leaves begin to fade, most trichomes have turned cloudy with a few amber heads appearing – the timing for the Fade regimen is just right. Buds have swollen further, covered in a thick layer of sticky resin. The aroma profile is rich, fruity-sweet with sour undertones – a signature Sherbzooka experience. This week starts with 50% Core / 50% Fade and will shift to full Fade by the end of the week, followed by pure water + Cleanse and Balance during the final flush phase. Setup: Environmental conditions remain stable, plants show no signs of stress. Maturity and resin production are peaking. 🌱 Status: Entering final ripening. 🔥 Potential: Excellent – high resin content and strong structure. Note: Due to time constraints, the weekly logs for Grow 1 and Grow 2 will be completed retroactively.

Flowering stage now. Will only use BioBizz. Still doing some LST. Will update by end of week on progress. No issues so far, good genetics indeed. Yesterday added some shock to the plants, added ice water. To simulate cold.

04/06/25: There’s not much to report today, which is exactly what I want to see at this stage. All five plants have recovered well from the transplant and topping, and they’re starting to look happy again. Leaves are upright, color is rich, and the overall posture of the plants suggests they’re back in growth mode. They’re beginning to bush out as expected, and I can tell the root systems are continuing to expand into the 1-gallon AirPots. Structurally, all five plants are still showing very similar growth patterns. The internode spacing and leaf size are fairly consistent across the board, and none of the plants are falling behind or surging too far ahead. That uniformity is great for managing the canopy later and suggests solid genetic stability across the seeds. If all goes to plan, I’ll top each of the four current branches in the next 4 to 5 days. That will give me a solid base for structure going into the final stages of veg. I expect that the final transplant into the 6.9-gallon AutoPot XL system will happen in about a week and a half to two weeks, depending on how quickly they root out the current pots. Ideally, I’ll be able to determine sex before that final transplant. That would let me cull any males and avoid wasting time and space in the larger pots. I’ll return with another update after the next topping session or if anything of note comes up before then.

Day 80, 22nd of October 2020: 3rd week of flowering! Happiness she needs a lot of boost hard to keep up. She loves fertilization too much..... I mean before always craving for nitrogen now qould need more potassium and phosphorus hard to keep up. I also detect deficiency based on the leaves getting lighter and brown spots but I do feed her as much as I can really. This week i have relised the first nice trichomes started "sitting" on the leaves as well and the pistils coming out nicely pre flowers forming. Let's go.

Blueberry Headband Grow Week 04 Flower Feb 29 In a state of transition. Started using 'Hygrozyme'. An enzyme that will supposedly keep my roots clean and root rot at bay. Wasn't quite the case. PH went up 10 fold and brown slime reappeared. Rinsed the roots, added more Hygrozyme and a dose of Tarantula tea. 24 hours later, PH is up the same. No sign of rot. RePHed and all is ok. Plants aren't blinking. Aroma is strong. Trichromes appeared last week and are everywhere, now! Little bundles of calyxes are all excited to pop out this coming week! Think this will be a 'beginners luck' grow. Trying to be diligent. Room setup rundown, examples of bud, et al in pictures... Seedlings/Clones lights - Viparspectra XS1500. Vege lights - Mars Hydro FC-4800 Flower Lights - 650w 3400K 1900umol/s PAR, (3) 226w DIY 2900K 630umol/s PAR (678w and 1890umol/s), Substrate - 50/50 sphagnum peat moss and vermiculite in 5-gallon pots Climate Control - Luckily, the lights, winter and normal furnace use all equate to a decent temperature, though a bit on colder side in in vege phase, sadly. Humidifier is needed early and later a dehumidifier is needed when canopy develops. I only grow in the winter months. Irrigation - do not use the emitters in this diary. They suck a big fat dick to skip a line to suck a bigger dick. Use the pressure compensating type. https://growdiaries.com/diaries/232811-strawberry-cookies-og-r1-cherry-diesel-bbgs-ego-epg-ebg-grow-journal-by-001100010010011110/week/1366923 -- use something similar to those. They come in different shapes, too. Basic process The little light takes care of seedlings in 2.5" wide seedling pots until first up-pot. The 1-gallon pots fit well under the FC4800 in a 4x4 tent until day 21 after sprout. I plant 150% or more of what i need, so i can kill the weak without concern. The goal is for every plant that makes it to the 5-gallon up-pot being capable of producing a minimum of 160 grams with a maximum of a 35-40 day vegetative phase. Third up-pot is into 5-gallon nursery pots and now under the 3 DIY lights and the 650W light in the big tent for a couple more weeks of vege. An irrigation system in the big tent saves a lot of time. One scrog for training and another for support, just in case. Reverting back to a more systematic approach to canopy composition moving forward. About 2.3 colas per sq ft and 8 primary colas per plant. Yields were similar when over-crowding and being less systematic, but the proportion of less dense nugs is greater and trim time is needlessly elevated because of that fact. I was very controlling about this the first couple years but got away from it for far too long at this point. Drying / Curing - Into mesh racks for 9 days. I wet trim and cut down to similarly sized buds for even drying. Temps are controlled around 68F and RH is set to 60%. Then into some 5-gallon buckets with gamma seal lids and (3) 2-way 67g boveda humidipaks (58% or 62%) in each bucket - 1 at bottom, 2 at top. Temp/RH probe confirms that they hold the RH steady at 60-63%. Cost - 0.33 cents (USD) per gram produced. This includes an accelerated depreciation expense for all equipment used, fertilizer, water, electricity for all equipment used, new filters and other yearly purchases - bti, ph strips, sticky traps, etc. I'm a finance guy, so these numbers are comprehensively accurate and purposely err slightly on high side of cost. The only facet not included is the cost of my labor.
