Another good week! I fed them once on Monday. A final shot to boost them for finishing up. I am pretty certain they will finish within 2 weeks.I also watered them on Thursday and today (Sunday). I defoliated both plants earlier this week as well. For one, I needed to open the canopy up to help keep the humidity down but, there were a lot of leaves yellowing and turning brown. I was not feeding them correctly... in the sense that I wasn't watering enough in between feeds. There were excess nutrients built up in the soil and I believe that led to the nutrient burn. Also, this was my first and only feed without the Grow Big due to flushing for week 9. I followed the Fox Farm feed schedule... but, I think I needed to understand my plants better! I also believe I stunted these girls! One is about 24" tall and the other is 21" tall. Both on the very low end of the growth chart. Overall, I am very happy!! So much to experience and learn in such a short window of time! I've thoroughly enjoyed this grow! I look forward to the harvest and experiencing all that is to come! One last thing... Anyone use GrowBuddy and any word on what is going on with the current download? I've followed the drama around taking so long and all that (the new hardware soon to be for sale for 2.0)... but, the website now says the software is available for free and working on Macs and Windows.... So, I downloaded it last night and I cannot activate an account. Everything has a greyed over kind of look... So, I assume they took some part of their servers offline... Anyone know if this is accurate and has anyone else activated a new account recently? Thanks for any insight!! Peace!

This week was the best the buds were so fat and dense and its my first grow ever. I can say that im proud of it, I gave it big bud and voodoo juice and I can say that advanced nutrients are all about their word its worth spending every penny on those nutes. 🙏🔥🔥🍁 hapy growing everyone

Looking great so far. She was thirsty as heck some days last week. Used close to 2 gallons of water a day. Smell is starting to come on. Veryyyy slight syrupy smell possibly but it’s too early to be sure, to be quite honest. Regardless, she’s starting to create her smell it seems. Gonna give her maybe five or six days and then do a lollipopping and considerable canopy clean up to make sure that the lower bud sites don’t get too deprived of light. Learned my lesson on my last grow with that. After that I’ll be pretty hands off the rest of the grow other than maybe some flower amendments.

From the start i wanted these plants to grow on its natural potential. No topping, no training. My experiment was to see the results compared to a trained plant. From what i saw, deffo topp or train these. Even if it takes longer to grow, it will give better yields. Overall its got a strong and tasty smoke. Just didnt harvest in 8 weeks like what the manufacturer sais. But 12 weeks is not bad. Dry weight: 32 grams Atleast this grow was a success, so im happy. Next is Mephisto genetics! Week 4 update - through the first week of the stretch and all is developing well. It’s really only the one strong male that’s started showing significantly. Most of the females have trace pistils and are still rapid vegging as expected. Every plant continues showing excellent hybrid vigour and there are literally zero noticeable deficiencies. Currently, the count is at about 2/3 males + about 2/3 indica dominant fem phenos. We took clones of everything female this week so that we can bud em out proper in the dutchy cabinet once the pollen subsides. That’s where we’ll get a real look at the bid quality👌. They’re all quite young at only 3/4 weeks from seed but still look hardy and strong. Rigged up a new drip ring delivery system so that we could take off for a couple days and make watering easier for my mother in-law. Anyone wants the skinny on those, just throw me a dm - super easy design and save a ton of cash and time. All told - were well on our way to the final finish of this generation and the punnet squaring should be interesting once we’re done. End of the day, the grower in me is just giddy for the next cycle. Finally gonna have the option to grow a bunch of different fems for a shit ton o bud👍👌💪. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Day 66 : Continue the juices on NL because her trichomes are 50-50 milky cloudy. She is flowering very well and is like breeders photo. Each bud is like sprouting. She creates seed pockets and these pockets explode with pistils. Its amazing. Breeder suggests to leave her flower for 45-50 days. Until now she flower for 38 days , so yeh 12 remains for sure. I added Calcium because she needs it. Edit Day 70 : I watered her with juices because she stills produces new trichomes. She also started to purple her buds. Her colas are so beautiful. We don't see buds like this every day.

Trying to keep the humidity to 50% is a task right now . Swapped up the fan and carbon filter for a Spider Farmer 6 inch complete kit as the budget one from Growell was immensely loud . Serves me right for going for a deal on 4/20 weekend . Never go too cheap on vital equipment Anyway , first week of flower done , the runt is trying its best lol , the other two are doing great . Although the Peanut Butter cookie is now the daddy of the bunch . Looking forward to the flowering fun Managed to grab a dehumidifier for 30 notes from a local retailer . Taken it down to 44 from high 50’s . Every little helps :)
