Moving pass the transition a little more this week and slowly switching to bud development. The feeding has been holding up and I've decided to top dress and just let them ride out on what they have available in the medium.

What a difference mainlining makes. I broke a branch with the first mainline, but decided to continue the grow. She's a full 30" shorter than the Durban Poison that I started on the same day. I decided to do LST and she is respectable - and will have several massive cola's. We'll see how she turns out in the end. Monsoon finally hits! Temps have dropped below the 110 mark low 100's! This grow will likely last > 30 weeks. Since GD only supports 30 weeks of diaries, this "week" will actually last two weeks. On day 1 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.4 to 6.0. The tallest cola is 5.5" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 9"-10" from the light. On day 2 the reservoirs PH is 6.1. The tallest cola is 5" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 9"-10" from the light. On day 3 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.0 to 6.3. The tallest cola is 4.5" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 8"-10" from the light. I did my last major defoliation in order to bring more light and air flow deeper into the canopy. The plants are progressing as expected. No smell yet and the pistils are showing more each day. On day 4 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.4 to 6.1. My mini dehumidifier was emptied after being 3/4 full after 5 days running. My tallest cola is 4" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 8"-10" from the light. On day 5 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.0 to 6.3. My tallest cola is 3.5" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 8"to 10" from the light. The plants buds are growing in size with more pistils showing every day :) On day 6 the PH of the reservoir is 6.2. My tallest cola is 3.5" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 7"-9" from the light. It looks like the stretch has finally stopped. I experienced a Runaway with my blumat on my right side plant. I reduced the flow of that blumat by 1 carrot and will monitor the situation going forward. After adding my carbon filter to my exhaust I realized it was drawing the heat from my box causing in proper heating. I will try to reduce the air flow of the carbon filter to make it easier to keep the heat in the grow box. On day 7 the PH of the reservoir is 6.2. My tallest cola is 3.25" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 7"-9" from the light. I did one last major defoliation on day 21 of flower to improve airflow and light penetration keeping only the top leaves of each cola.

Unseasonably cold temperatures has had me on edge but growth still looks to be normal. Noticed some magnesium deficiency in some of the lower branches from the temp dipping below 60 so I bumped up my cal mag slightly to compensate. Also increased part B and C of my base nutes as well as Monster Bloom, Nirvana and Purpinator. Still no signs of any purple growth but I'm still very optimistic that these babies will be beautiful no matter what. Might cover up their pots and surrounding ground with hay/straw/mulch or whatever I can find today to help keep the roots warm with lower 40's°F for lows at night in the near forecast. Two of the three Devil's have shown exponential flower growth over the past few days, with more indica characteristics, where the middle Devil is straight sativa, totally a bunch of foxtails forming 🦊 and extra tall, long branches as where the other two are more Christmas tree 🎄 shaped.

Plants seem like they are slow to start showing flowers, I had to swap out one of the dragonsblood hashplant as it’s either a herm or male I’m getting a microscope tomorrow so will go over all plants thoroughly and double check sex. So far 1 confirmed male. Photos 2 days after a leaf stripping. Also figured out my RH issues see video.

2020-07-05 New week. Reduced nutrients because of the slight burn on plant 2... and plant 1 drinks so quickly that it rapidly raises PPM so I have to actually find the right sweet spot. It's drinking about a gallon a day? Plant 2 is still a week behind and slightly stunted but the flowers are coming out. They are more compact than Plant 01. This is supposed to be the same species but I'm getting 2 very different phenotypes on the exact same nutrients.. not very strong genetics? Not sure. 2020-07-05 2020-07-05 2020-07-08 Forgot to take pics this week! Here you go! Plant 01 has grown so insanely strongly and is producing so many nice looking bud sites, i am blown away!! I have had to 'supercrop' the top by bending the stem very carefully and adding a wire knuckle so that it wouldn't immediately just stand back up overnight. I tried this with 2 experimental colas and they perked back up and stayed laying down. They will slightly obstruct the lower flowers but the tops all looked so promising, I couldn't bring myself to cut them. I will seriously have to cut down on veg time next grow! I can easily stop at week 5 in the future with these seeds and grow up nice buds. 2020-07-11 Updated with yesterday's photos. Changed nutrients today, stuck with 1600 EC for plant 01 and went back down to 1400 for plant 02.
