Welp, that is a wrap folk; 61 days total! This grow started out very slow in veg, so I wasn't too sure what the potential was. Flower presented major challenges right off the bat. I sent them into flower at 10 inches thinking they would double or maybe 1.5 because they are both supposed stretch well, epecially the BCC, but boy did I underestimate that. They more than tripled which complicated the structure immedietly. The best thing to do for this harvest would have been to complete it in 2 sections, top and bottom, but I just don't have the space to do something like that. The next bigmistake i made was not lollipopping aggressively enough. I left SO much flugg in the center and I think it is going to cost big time on the final weight. Luckily I will make some great olive oil and keif out of it, but it was a costly mistake regardless. I did the aboslute best that I could with defolitation and I put in my bigger light which was a risk because of the distance, but it paid off in the end and gave me the penetration I needed to save what I could. I don't think this will be anything to write home about in terms of yield, but aesthetically these nugs our beautiful. The RHC buds turned this amazing deep purple color covered in bright orange hairs. The BCC took on this awesome lime green with hints of blue and purple throughout which I think was caused by the low nighttime temps I was able to achieve. The calyx on both buds really bulked out in the final week. I honestly probably could have let them go another week but we are out of bud and I don't need amber trichomes that bad. Everything was 90% milky and that was good enough for me. Now they will hang for about 5-6 days. I have to take them down early because the air here in Denver is so dame dry all the time. I learned since moving here that it is better to just take them down as soon as the humidity in the tent starts dropping below 50% and move them into jars. I made the mistake of not doing that with my first grow here and lost so much of the smell.
