Hello everyone, Update for week 8 of the Frozen Bananas F1 Hybrids by Barney’s Farm. We are officially entering week eight, and I've made a major adjustment to the routine. I switched up their diet completely, moving away from Canna Coco A and B over to Black Run Coco A and B to see how they respond to the new nutrient profile. As for the big sister, she is doing okay overall, but she has recently started to throw out a few mutated leaves of her own. To manage her growth and shape things up, I decided to top her this week. Let's see how she recovers and looks by next week. Moving on to her little sibling... the drama definitely continues, and this is turning out to be the strangest thing with this strain. Every single new leaf she produces comes out completely mutated. I honestly really don't know what to do with this one at this stage. I've decided to extend her timeline slightly and give her exactly two more weeks to show me if she is finally going to push out some normal growth, or if she's just going to keep up with this persistent mutated leaf problem. Update next week

June 24: decided to tie down more branches and also the smaller plant that had lost its root as a baby but kept going. With tie down it’s starting to look like a single plant. It’s also starting to flower after 8 weeks of slowish vegetative growth, and this is likely due to the overnight temperatures. It has been a cool and wet June here. June 27: this plant is doing great and it is really responding well to the tie down. I always figured this was more an indoor technique but it certainly is working great outdoor on this auto White Widow. I love growing weed. Endless variations and techniques to be applied.

Pics from Christmas Day are actually last day of week 6 but video is week 7 so grouped them together. They’re in the big tent now and very happy.

They get wider, bigger, and firmer. They are already starting to smell very tasty. This week it was poured 3 times with 1.2 l each (nutrients see table above). Unfortunately I found a couple of single trips that tell me that the trips still haven't completely disappeared. Since I'm not a neem at this stage I will inject more oil and the lady has already finished over half of her cycle, I will let her run like this and the newcomers will be treated again 👍. So I hope that at the next round all of them will finally be gone. I had the problem more than 5 years ago and it took a long time until everything was ok again and there was no animal left. So now we’re in the first week of flowering, and I’m really happy with how things are going. The plants are constantly putting on more leaf mass, so I have to prune them every few days to remove the light-stealers and the small shoots that keep popping up. They take it all in stride and reward me by stretching nicely. 😄 The lights are now running at 60% power. My goal is to reach 80–90% during flowering weeks 5–6, and then gradually dial them back again for a nice fade. A very kind person sent me a few very special treats, so I already have some of the ingredients for the next run ready to go. But more on that once this one starts winding down. 😉
