- A couple of branches have snapped due to LSTing. Newbie here, researched and found out branches that were not completely snapped could be saved - This led me to discover bending branches until they "kink" can actually be used as a type of LST - 5th seed ended up straightening out and grew normally. Flowering Week 24: Autumn Whispers & Yellow Leaf Mysteries Update: 28.08.2025 | Day 171 What’s good, Growmies? Hope your own gardens are treating you right as summer starts to fade. Temps are dipping to around 20°C here, and the ladies are feeling the shift. Didn’t do much this week – sometimes less is more. Noticed a few things, though: Zero pests – and I mean clean – but up on Blueberry’s top budsites, some yellow leaves are showin'. Doesn’t look like nitrogen – more like iron maybe? Wondering if the Bokashi juice dropped the pH a bit too hard. Thought about breakin' out the mineral nutes (Terra Aquatica TriPart flashed through my mind), but nah… I’m stickin' to the organic path. What do you guys think? Durban Poison Buds are bulkin' up nice – fattenin' by the day. Purple pistils poppin’ on every cola. Looks killer. Deeper inside the canopy, some lower yellow leaves (classic nitrogen fade), but nothin' to stress over. She’s healthy where it counts. Blueberry Still stretchin' – slowly but surely. More pistils showin' now, and yeah, those calyxes are takin' on a sweet purple hue. Smell’s still light – neighbors are safe… for now. Next Steps - Keep an eye on that iron-like yellowing – act if it spreads - Stay vigilant for pests tryna hide in new buds - Keep pickin' off old leaves – mold prevention is key - Maybe one more light defoliation on Durban – open her up just a touch more That’s all for this week, folks. Finally we are in bloom, the plants are fine and continue to grow with few problems, in this phase the Mimosa Evo in the abs pot, has some leaves locked inwards, while the others are fine, I wonder if I should worry about An excess of fertilizers or environment? The Tutankhamun has these tips pointing downwards and I don't understand why, I only gave water for almost 1 week but nothing has changed, the Gorilla Zkittlez is exploding with flowers and the other Mimosa continues to grow, although I believe that I will harvest a few grams from that plant! I also started giving him Bud Candy to increase the flavor and a little yield!

The plants stopped growing in height and are now in FULL FLOWERING mode. Every day more and more flower clusters appear and start to build colas at the sidebranches now. The trichome production is also in full swing, the plants get stickier every day and smell DELICIOUS. The Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants have a sweet sandelwood-smell like the AK-47 but also with peach undertones from the Barbara Bud in it. I LOVE THE AROMA!

Had a great week. These babies are still stretching quite a bit and I see pistils everywhere. The next couple of weeks should show some actual nuggies popping up.

They all doin pretty good, leaves are a little too yellow for my liking at this point I should have added some grow to the mix but they will be fine I think. This one has a much different structure than the others, both I'm growing are similar, short and stocky with very stiff branching very compact. In the picture its the one in the second row in front of the tallest plant. Flush week is here! Or was here lol. I was behind on my journal's and I've actually already chopped the girls (pics included) and will update soon with a harvest week as soon as they are finished hang drying. The trichomes were cloudy white with roughly 20-30% amber trichomes and some wonderful terp aromas from each. 100K has a smell and taste (we sampled a bud dried in a paper bag, was fantastic) has a similarity to Slapz from the same release and it is honestly a great flavor and aroma to have. She also has hints of nutty earthiness underneath from her White Truffles and they blend well together. Grandaddy's terps vary going down her branches so far. At the top her grapey berry aroma is dominant where as the lower buds are more heavily of flowers (violets, i agree with leafly on that aroma description for GDP) with hints of the berries. A sample from a paper bag was mostly of violet flowers and smoke smooth with a deep relaxing high. Better info to come with the harvest week update! Plants were left in 48 hours of darkness with attention to airflower kept to prevent mold Our drying set up: The tent light is off, with oscillating fan removed. Only an intake was left on the bottom (removed oscillating fan after 1st day was too much) with a small monkey fan pointed across to keep it moving along the floor, with the exhaust running up top to keep even airflow around the buds. I'm trying to avoid any direct airflow on the buds. The trellis net is lifted to the top of the tent, to hang the branches from easily with plant wire. Our drying conditions: The branches are hung individually after snipping off larger fan / water leaves, we try to leave some of the smaller leaves to help protect the buds and their terpenes. Our environment we try to keep in the mid to low 60s, but never higher than 68 (I prefer 66 degrees farenheit) and the humidity we keep around 60 to 60% but no higher, and preferably never lower. This is to protect the terpenes and cannabinoids from evaporating due to heat or dry conditions. I changed to this method after some research and owe the idea on temps and humidity to Matt from Mr Canucks Grow on Youtube, it's a more recent video of his from within the past year and was very informative.

Starting to ripen a lot this week and put on more size on the buds, she is getting near the end very happy with how she is going, swapped my light schedule back to 20/4 for last few weeks, Started giving her some PK also.

Day 44 this Girl Scout Cookies auto had its light intensity increased! I placed a 9" tall pale under the pot, to get the plant closer to the light! This plant is now 24" away from the SF4000(both drivers dimmed down 25% to 333 total watts). Day 47 - Light defoliation Day 49 - Flowers coming in strong!

Second week of vegetation they are going very well and lets see how it goes
