***DIVINE SEEDS ***** *****OPIUM***** Week 22 For my outside ladies, Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake These gals are weathered. Opium is taller than I can see (over 6.5 feet) but from my dining room window, I see the top 3 inches of her main cola is dead. Many dead leaves packed in the buds. Her colas on all stems are massive, sticky and resinous. My plan was to wash and make bubble hash from her. Temperatures should be dropping into the 70 with nights in the 60’s but have returned to the upper 80-90 with high humidity. This week rain is expected every day following another hurricane. That was the determining factor to chop all outside girls down. All the plants were chopped on Sept 12. Opium hung in the dark for 2 days and when Hubby started trimming up Opium he found dark areas deep in the buds and much of the bud mass just fell off. So both Lemon Cake and Opium have been tossed into the trash. I don’t even want to compost the plants in the event spores over winter. I hate losing any plant after I spent so much time growing them out but I won’t risk health over questionable harvests. I did an initial spot check on Fractal and she looked clean, but is being trimmed for a thorough inspection for any disease. These ladies had a long vegetative phase. Probably too long since I started them in April so they would be hardened off before I went on vacay in May. Three months of veg caused massive vegetative growth, especially on Opium deep in the buds.. The various breeder notes on photos indicate late September or October harvest. So that was in the back of my mind during this grow. All of them were in flower by early July. Light hours were over 14.5 and won’t be at 12/12 until September 26 (2 more weeks). I’m sure the plants were confused by the long veg and just said "Hell, I'm going for it" and started early flowering. I grew them too long waiting for the trichomes to develop. 👉Note for next year start seeds later in spring. 👉Plan start date based on counting back from the vernal equinox. 👉Based on such a long growing season, Autos may be preferable to finish quickly and not have extended vegetation phase before flower. I was looking forward to being daydreamy psychedelically stoned, not to mention killing my chronic pain and insomnia. I do have more seeds and will try again in a controlled environment and trying topping or mainlining to keep her shorter and more manageable. This was such an amazing experience! The outcome could have been better but I'm happy and the quality is definitely there!!!!! Such a sweet tasting smoke with very relaxing, very creative highlights! Pbb has been chopped! Saw a decent amount of amber trichomes and the calyxes were quite swollen also she has been fading beautifully for quite some time now. Went into the dark for 48hours then I trimmed any dead leaves off and a few larger easy to reach leaves. She’s hanging in a dark tent now with a fan blowing at the bottom of the tent. Ducting to my flower tent to keep it from stagnating. Frost is starting to fade and swelling quite well. Afghani is getting a much more complex smell not as sweet as before still looks like looks like at least 2 weeks for her. They have all just been getting water for a while now.

Not much to say this week, buds starting to dense up more now. Triple G back right yellowing need to keep eye on her weather she’s coming to end or some kind of deficiency, roughly a week or 2 before there down 🍁

The Amnesia haze 2 is turning light green yellowish some told me it could be deficiency or it could be just flowering taking energy from the leaves but I’m not sure I used Gaia green bloom recently thinking it would help I’m going to too water that haze from here out the other have and sour I’m going to continue to bottom feed I took some trichome pics I don’t think there ready yet but I think I’m getting close to the date I feel the the amnesia haze 2 is going to hit 90+ days tho kind of hope not cause the other haze and sour are probably going be done sooner I want to fry them all at the same time March 7th I think the haze #2 and Sour d is ready but the other Haze is not I’m pretty sure I have another week pre maybe even two for it to be near ready I need the tent to harvest and dry what’s ready I’m going try leave the ready ones in for another week in hope it doesn’t mess them up

She is starting to stretch into flower here, and this is where my notes stopped on 7/14/2023 until 8/13/2023. Switched to 24hrs to try to get some more growth out of her. Absolutely explosive growth and I am in shock. Been training her down with those LST clips and gently bending branches/the main cola.

2-1 Got her first water in new home. Was not watered in during x plant. Let her dry what she had first. 7ml EM1 will get a bigger dose soon. Just to kick things off. Around 1/2 tsp recharge, 1ml drops of balance. 1.5 ml Silica. Ph 6.0 500 ml. 2-3 Wish I would have watered 250-300. 500 was a bit much, should be fine. Looks very happy and perky. 2-4 Looks like she may have the fungus. Removed first leaves. 2-5 Peroxide spray at lights out. Slight possibility on 2nd set of leaves. 2-6 Removed 3rd set up leaves. Oh my goodness not again! Foliar spray, Canncontrol 300ml water .8 ml CannC. As a precaution. Enlisted Valiotoro, light may have burnts when lights came on from foliar. I dont remember checking. Focused more on if spread. 😂 Hope this helps. 🤞 Sad that the leaf removal will slow her down. .
