It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. So this is a combination of weeks 11-12 as they all went into 48 hours of darkness and cut down on different days. My got cut down on different days. Will post dry harvest pics next ;p

So, with the harvest complete and the dry finished, the rest is now going into jars for the final cure and storage. Overall I enjoyed this grow, it needed minimal interventions and had a smaller work load compared to the other grows. The amount of dried flowers is 752g (1.11gpw) so a decent haul, I threw a lot of B grade buds in the hash bag due to the large number of low level flowering sites (I need to rethink my canopy management) and also with the lack of stretch after flipping made the internodal spacing a bit too tight. Managed to extract 215g of grade a hash from her as well which I have pressed into a slab (pictures). I learned many things along the way, namely root health and the importance of keeping organic additions as low as possible. I also decided to try out clones for my next run, just to get a little more canopy and growth consistency - those of which are in an aeroponics tub at the moment waiting to root (picture). Day 15 transplanted to a 10 gal container and 3×3 tent. Day 30 transitioning to flower. She's measuring 24 inches across definitely bushy and stout. Plan on scrogging through the upcoming weeks.

So, Nitrogen deficiency SEEMS to have slowed down or stopped (hopefully). I've upped the FloraMicro as well as the frequency of feedings, from once a week to 2-3 times. Next year I will plant in soil as I'm going to fly through nutes, and the Midget that's planted in my flower bed has received nothing but water and has shown ZERO deficiencies. The girls have now also began to show a Calcium deficiency as can be seen in the pics on new growth, as a result I've upped the amount of CaliMagic as well. Weird as I see many people feeding 1/2 the dose as recommended by GHE while i'm feeding the recommended and then some. I'm guessing it may be because the girls are big, not sure. Oh well I ordered a gallon of each of the nutes and a gallon of KoolBloom from WEGROWBUDS.ca Highly Recommended. As soon as my prize comes in from @HumboltSeeds I will be planting 4 girls indoors! And FYI I may break this diary up into the Blue Cookies and White Widow individually, we'll see.

This last week shit got really frosty !! The monkey berries is wicked the terps are creamy sour milk and cherry halls mmmmmmm I’m thinking about 7 to 10 days more then start flushing the monkey berries . Slurricane is putting on the weight like there’s no tomorrow and frosty too with 4 weeks to go she will be my best run by far, terps grapefruit and sweet skunk

Day 41 - Everything seems to be going great so far this is my first time using green house nutrients & the plants seem to be loving it! All 3 of my Girl Scout Cookies still don’t seem to be in flower & it’s starting week 7 so I am considering throwing them in my flower tent for a few days to see if that will help push them into flower but all in all very happy with this run so far, Fastbuds never disappoints! Strawberry pie 🥧😋 doing great starting to fill in now. Going be some nice chunky tops for sure. Super glad I was able to successfully grow this one. So far lemon pie has been my favorite from the new drop. Gorilla cookies was pretty freaking tasty. But wasn't smacking me like 27 percent thc tbh. But who knows considering the smoke is gone before 1 month after harvest. 🤣😭 Overall fast buds has improved alot. Excited for the new releases will be running them soon for sure.

Pure Ice cream great really well under the Spider Farmer lights in the Athena nutrition. She did get too close to the light. I should of hst her. My mistake, they will still smoke. Smells great, and is loaded in trichromes. Has a sweet creamy. Pine smell. Everything looks great. I only had minor ph issues during grow. She was thriving for a lot of it. The white widow was a runt but she has really picked up the pace and about caught up with the rest of the girls. She is stretching nicely and starting to build a lot of nice little top buds. She seems to have a nice balance of spacing between her buds. So excited to see how she turns out. Will be starting them on some liquid Koolbloom next week.
