My good friend convinced me that trimming and training are paramount, so I've started with slowly defoliating the Creme de la Chems to try and get to lollipop status. They're just starting to flower, so I figured I could get away with a more aggressive approach. Because I failed to train these girls early, I'm stuck dealing with a little rain forest. What I've tried to do is trace each flower topped stalk up from the base, and trim away from the bottom up. 1/3 of the way up per day. I've now got a thick canopy, and I've been trying to just use leaf tucking and manual manipulation every few hours in order to keep the different height flowering sites in direct light. These ladies have really been thriving, and it's been such a joy to watch them grow! I like having two plants in one net pot letting them grow wild, but I think in my next grow I'll keep it to one per pot and train better from the start. As for the Super Orange Haze ... not as good. I attempted to pull the main branch over to train her to some empty space, but I was too aggressive and ended up popping her head off :(. First grow, first disaster. I took the head and stripped her/coated in clonex and pushed her into some potting soil just to see what would happen. There hasn't been enough foliage to really make me want to do any trimming, I've just tried to tie the stalks off to train them apart. I'm really sad about my mistake decapitation, but she seems to be doing well still. She's probably week 2 of flower based on others' journals. I changed the water midway through the week (which is when the videos were taken). I drained most of the water out, but roots prevented me from getting the last few gallons. When I refilled the res with RO, I measured the PPM at around 200. I have to assume that remaining nutrient was completely unbalanced leftovers, so feeding will have to just have to be experimental. My approach has been to give around 1:1 Gro vs Bloom and Micro every 2-3 days when I refill with RO. I want to build my PPM up to 1000, but slowly so that I can detect if I hit a ceiling first. It's hard to measure how much food is in the water based on PPM. CalMag is what drives it mostly, so I've been using CalMag as a sort of measuring stick. I keep the CalMag pegged to the Bloom food, but I know it's only good for initial dosing. I can't assume the plants are eating CalMag in the same proportion as anything else :(. If anyone has a line on cheap lab testing ... hit me up. I'd love to be able to test a few hundred samples at a time for NPK and trace so that I can tell (even if post facto) what was going on.

This #40 and #42 plants from Ganja Farmer Seeds where the best out of them all, this is a bias review though as they where not all grown in the same bucket system as these two and thus could not grow to their true potential. The bugs where solid rock hard and crystaly They are true keepers if your wanted a good performing auto for shits and giggle outdoors. The major downside is how easily they got pests and how the pests preferred them over the other weed plants. this is a bit concerning to me and makes me wonder why. 8/22/2021 - Did some mid-flower defoliation to increase airflow and to prevent mold and mildew. - Split the top right main from trying to train her down and spread out the canopy, supporting with tape and twist ties. 8/23/2021 - Top right main is still vigorous after split.

Pulled down side branches using Twisties. Will be putting her on to flower soon.

I am a little bit worried it’s going too slow (compared to reference grows from other diaries), but patience is hard and there’s still 3 to 4 weeks of flowering to be done. The breeder advises 7 to 8 weeks, which is a bit optimistic, but they also advise 9 weeks for optimal taste and a smoother effect. The girls still grew a bit vertically, so even 5 weeks into flower, they aren’t fully focused on the development of the buds. Maybe this week, some serious XL bud stacking will take place 😊. I had some problems this week with heat and humidity. For two days, temperatures were at 28 degrees with lights on; a bit too high, but nothing extreme. More problematic was RH: it oscillated a lot between 45 and 60% during lights on and peaked at 70% with lights off. There will be some dry weather the days ahead, so RH will probably stabilize around 50% the following days. Nevertheless, I increased the power of both fans and the exhaust to the max, so there’s more than enough airflow throughout the whole tent. I did some slight defoliation, but nothing extreme. I don’t want to stress them out in this phase and cause them to herm. Hence, I took away max. 2 leaves per plant per day and only when tucking away wasn’t possible. The run off EC is at 2.0-2.1, while 1.8 (close to 1.9) is going in. pH of the runoff is around 5.9, except Iris’ run off, that one is always at 5.5. -Esta semana simplemente las he regado un par de veces con un litro y medio cada una. -A una de las GG ya estoy haciéndole el flush final -Empiezan a enfermarse las hojas. Puede ser falta de calcio, potasio, magnesio...no lo se. Les he echado uns buena dosis de potasio y las que están más afectadas les he echado sgua limpia y un poco de potasio. -una de las GG le falta poco para cortar. El resto les quedará poco menos de un mes

Están formando sus preflores y se les ve buen color, no presentan carencias,el agua 💧 de tiego tiene un ph 6 .

As the main root of all the plants was already growing out of the bottom of the seed pot after 6 days, I decided to repot them into the 2L growing pots earlier than usual. I used Great White Mycorrhizae to further stimulate root growth. Let's see how the ladies cope with being repotted so early. I have my Electric Sky 180v2 now in instead of the cheap 40$ for 4 lights i bought on facebook. Which were growing but nothing like this thing has been doing the past week. Im still blown away by the light but back to the plants. Doimg great i took some clones. First time ever so hopefully they root. I been sprayin em 4 -6 times a day. My 3rd g6jetfuel i took out of my tent with es180v2 and put in closet by itself with the 40$ cheap leds. It hasnt grown a whole lot compared to the tent plants g61 and 2...i thought maybe it may of had a male or hermi part but honestly i dont think it did bc i cant find it now. But its still in there bc i decided to throw it on 12-12 in closet to find out sex forsure. Ive been foliar spraying in my tent 3 timez a day. And 2 times a week i get 2 little drops of fox farm grow bif in my 10oz spray bottle of water.

just started watering with easy pk formula from plagron, and did a realy easy tuck under net and that is it, i expected more from this plant let see. I started another plant this is photoperiod Bubba island Kush from Dutch passion, i realy hope this will go good,soil is the same as the other/the first plant, i ordered Digital Luxmeter , and this is going to be cool- Gardena smart Sensor for soil humidity coz i really want to dial in everything otherwise its a lottery.

2020-07-05 New week. Reduced nutrients because of the slight burn on plant 2... and plant 1 drinks so quickly that it rapidly raises PPM so I have to actually find the right sweet spot. It's drinking about a gallon a day? Plant 2 is still a week behind and slightly stunted but the flowers are coming out. They are more compact than Plant 01. This is supposed to be the same species but I'm getting 2 very different phenotypes on the exact same nutrients.. not very strong genetics? Not sure. 2020-07-05 2020-07-05 2020-07-08 Forgot to take pics this week! Here you go! Plant 01 has grown so insanely strongly and is producing so many nice looking bud sites, i am blown away!! I have had to 'supercrop' the top by bending the stem very carefully and adding a wire knuckle so that it wouldn't immediately just stand back up overnight. I tried this with 2 experimental colas and they perked back up and stayed laying down. They will slightly obstruct the lower flowers but the tops all looked so promising, I couldn't bring myself to cut them. I will seriously have to cut down on veg time next grow! I can easily stop at week 5 in the future with these seeds and grow up nice buds. 2020-07-11 Updated with yesterday's photos. Changed nutrients today, stuck with 1600 EC for plant 01 and went back down to 1400 for plant 02.

Por el momento ha ido todo bien, he tenido unos problemas con algunas plagas depredadoras qué hay en el jardín, por lo cual he aplicado riegos foliares de aceite de neem + jabón potásico para alejar todas las plagas posibles. En cuanto a los riegos estoy regando con 2L: 1L agua ph 6.5 + 1L agua y nutrientes ph 6.7 día por medio. (No aplico fertilizantes en todos los riegos para no acumular sales, ya que he notado que al regar la tierra aun cuenta con fertilizantes por lo cual con el riego solo de agua, es como si se diluyeran las sales en el sustrato.)

Hola familia, siento la ausencia estos últimos 8 días, pero estoy de vuelta, estás misty gorilla auto de Zambezaseeds, están fenómeno, ya empiezan a desprender aromas, y eso es agradable, espero que engorden más estas flores por lo demás va bien, entonces la temperatura la mantenemos por debajo de 26 la humedad por debajo del 40% , sigo alimentando las con Agrobeta, por supuesto, os voy adelantando que va a ver muchos cambios cara al futuro y para bien, os iré diciendo poco a poco.
