This lady has been harvested today! I’ve been checking her trichomes all week as buds were looking plump and very dense. Up till 2 days ago there were no ambers at all, just all milky with a few clear/half clear. Almost overnight there are quite a few ambers, mostly on the main coal but there are a few on the other bud sites too. The last time I harvested this strain it gave no high, however, i harvested it with less amber than this lady has. Smells strong and it’s a fruity, gassy scent. Buds decent size/big and frosty! Decided to harvest in branches rather than the whole plant due to the density, I’d rather avoid mold as much as I can. Wet weight 247g for 1 plant. Can’t wait to see how this lady turns out after dry and cure! Will update in a few weeks

Did some ballsy defoliation yesterday, but the girls seem to be rebounding well... Not sure if I stunted the northern lights plant or if she's just genetically shorter and bushier. I find myself popping my head in the tent to check on them enough that my husband walked by and said "I wish you loved me as much as you love your plants" 12/23 update. Unsure what my leaves are trying to tell me. Soil felt a little dry so I took the opportunity for a pH balanced fairly heavy watering, no nutrients this feed. Maybe a salt build up since I've been giving light nutes with every feed? Last flush earlier this week with solid pH on the runoff, so maybe not. Maybe just too much nutrients in general. I'll back off for a bit and see how she does. 12/26 update: lemon auto is getting light burned AF. Wound up rearranging the light situation to take her farther away from the light, but still within it to get enough light for some (hopefully) dense buds. I think a bigger tent is in my future. I have scratched back surface soil, and topped up with canna terra pro and DyNoMyCo ✌️💚 Day 16 19/07/24 Friday Lite Feed today, 250ml each pot small run off. Seeing excellent start to these babies. Let's get it 👌💚 Day 18 21/07/24 Sunday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag 5ml to 5L. Watering in 1L each day from now. Updated video Day 19 22/07/24 Monday Nothing new to report. Starting to see them beautiful fans appear that's all 😁✌️ Day 20 23/07/24 Tuesday Feed today, giving them straight all nutes Inc flowering nutes. I will update the dose as they grow and develop a bigger hunger. It was a great nine week flower, there were no issues during growth and was solid all around. The Spliff genetics is great with there signature colas.. the plants took to the nutrients very well, I thought I was running a little high on my ppm on beginning of grower but it all leveled out and nothing burned the leaves or bugs. I used general hydroponics flora pro series, with fish sh!t all the way threw!!!

Gorgeous looking plant, you can tell she's definitely an indica strain by those beautiful fat leaves that she has, I'm very excited to try this strain for the 1st time, and also it's the first time I grow a strain from this Spanish Bank from the canary islands! I'm pumped to be able to grow her this year, let's see how she performs!!

Been a minute growmies but I’m back with some updates. This week I realized I was going to have to get a new tent ASAP. Was really trying not to have to but it is inevitable. She is huge now! Even tried throughout this week and next to do some tie down with string to fabric pots. Sorry for wait…. I know she was sad towards the end of the week 😞. 8/31: Started new batch of nutes. Did a massive defoliation today as well! A lot more light through the canopy now. Cut dying bottom branches. 9/1: Did a lot of defoliation today. Even removed some of the lower branches not getting sufficient amount of light.

Overwatered the two in the back earlier this week on day 12, not paying attention like an idiot 😫. Will resume watering as normal tomorrow, day 16. Plan on starting LST this week, depending on size. Plant in the front on the right is almost ready now. The mutant plant in the front on the left has some really weird growth, but I’m gonna see where it goes... why not?! ________________________________________ Started LST for 2 of the plants on day 17. The other 2 are still a little short but will probably be ready for LST within 3-4 days. I have now (day 19) started LST on all 4 plants. First I plant started LST on, now has the lower sites starting to fill in. Wrapping up week 3. There is one plant clearly straggling behind the others. The other 3 (including the mutant!) are responding well to LST. For now I’m sticking to leaf tucking, and have only defoliated the couple leaves sagging into the soil. Over-watering from early in the week definitely slowed growth down temporarily, but seems to be back on track now!

I’m using 40L water with flawless finish and flushing with this product,let it sit for about 8/10 hours and flush one more time with only fresh water.Repeat one more time after the soil is completely dry.

They suffered a little stress from trips attack and cold weather, but are recovering well. Did the LST today and foliar spray with EM5 (5ml/l)

Dry Tent was around 19 - 21 degrees 60% humidity 🍌🍇🥊🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Dry Weight Mainline banana purple - 47.82 gram Thai stick looking one bpp - 54.03 gram BIG MOMMA Purple - 49.96 gram 7gallon banana Purple - 50.55gram Tall Banana purple - 61.05gram ( we have a winner 🏆 ) So happy with results. If I hadn't done any mainlining or anything we might have pushed 60gram+ from them all. I probably won't be doing the main line technique on banana purple again and will just let them go mad as it looks like a 7-10 gram difference in untrained and trained plants. Think I stressed them Bit too much on a couple of them maybe light or nutrients Didn't know about foxtailing until this week when i read about , it hapend on both purples hopefully doesn't effect potency that much. Got a big bag of trim after using spiderfarmer Bowl trimmer ✂️ will try make butter or something lol Smell is! Literally blackcurrant fruit juice with a hint of foam sweets 😋 tried some that has cured for 4 weeks omg turns me into a potato instant couch lock straight to sleep 👌 can't wait to grow this again top notch! 1/19: Not much to report today. Got a good look at lemon autos trichomes under a digital microscope. I guess this is just another week of saying "one more week" 😂 1/22: gave lemon auto a good pH balanced water flush, northern lights got some bloom nutrients to help those buds do their thing. Trichomes look mostly cloudy- a few amber on the sugar leaves which means it's only a matter of time! 1/24: lemon auto update: trichomes on some outer buds are amber! Main cold nug looks like it's about 100% cloudy trichomes. Will evaluate tomorrow for possible harvest?!

D19 (10/12/2020): Beginning of week 3. I saw little yellow/brown spot on big leaves and new leaves, I need to check this closely. I fed with half of the recommended dose but 1.5-1.75L of water per plant. I was giving 1L max and I think it was not enough for the size of my pots. RH of the grow tent is now down at 60%. - temps: 26C - water: PH6.3, PPM: 410 - RH: 60% D20 (11/12/2020): Today I saw thrips larva crawling on a leaf (see video above). That confirm my problem is not a nutrients deficiency. I know how I got them and it's a rookie mistake from me. At the beginning of my grows, I placed a plant in my tent that was originally outdoor during fall. I did not think that it would be infested with bugs. I removed it when I saw a little bugs fly in my tent but the damage was probably already done. I read about thrips and you can get rid of them if you act fast and soon in the infestation. I will go to my local horticulture store today and ask advices and ways to exterminated them. I'm a newbie in growing cannabis (plants in general) and I want the best for my plants. I'm learning from my mistake and that's what I like! Overall, both plants are growing fast and they react really well to LST. I readjust the tie 2-3x a day because the small leaves are growing so fast! - temp: 26C - no water - RH: 60% D21 (12/12/2020): I bought insecticidal soap and gave a treatment. RH is now at 55% and that increases air flow. -temp: 26C - no water - RH: 55% D22 (13/12/2020): The lamp is now 100% and at 28inch form the plants. They received 430 PPFD (33 000 lux). Temperature is under control around 26C with a new oscillating fan place on the floor. This air flow will help against bugs. LST continue every day to expose new leaves. I gave water with only Max Minerals. - temp: 26.5C - water: PH6.4, PPM: 275, approx.: 1,75L per plant - RH: 55% D23 (14/12/2020): LST continue, I try to bend one branch every day and readjust the other ones. I did not see more bugs but some of the new leaves are affected so I know they are still there. I ordered nematodes to help me prevent new larvae. They are suppose to arrive in two days. - temp: 26C - no water - RH: 55% D24 (15/12/2020): I removed leaves at the bottom of the pants last night. Probably 3-4 leaves per plant that were not receiving light. This morning I can see that it gave a good boost on the new leaves! Continuing LST as usual. The nematodes arrived earlier then expected. I will apply them tonight as soon as the lights turn on! - temp: 26C - no water - RH: 54% D25 (16/12/2020): I did a lot today! First, I sprayed another treatment of insecticidal soap on all my plants. Second, I removed one inch of soil in each pot and replaced it with new soil (same soil). I saw sign of what I think is phosphate deficiency. I was really shy on nutrients since beginning of the grow. Third, I fed full recommended dose for week 3 of veg. I gave 1.5L of water with nutrients and approx. 0.5L of tap water when I placed the nematodes. Fourth, I placed one tea pouch of nematodes in each pot as recommended. I also opened 2 tea pouch of nematodes and sprinkled them over the soil of all plants. Finally, I continued LST. It was a big week of up and down. Both plants grew like crazy and I discover an infestation. I think Banana Kush is in pre flower but I'm not sure. It's a bit early but they got so much stressed this week. -temp: 26C -water: PH6.5, PPM: 725 -RH: 55%

6/9 I can't believe it but I had faith. The transplant yesterday LOOKED like it was fucked. I cleaned it up though and left it outside. This morning it was standing straight up. Both transplants were! I put tarps up to block the wind tunnel between buildings. It's still overcast and rainy. Sun isn't supposed to come out for a couple poke days. Chance of thubder storms tomorrow but I'm going to try to get everyone in their forever homes today. Or at least most of them. I plan to light dep a few right in the 3 gallon. I'm sure I'll be updating this after I get some work done. UPDATE: I WENT OVER AND GOT THREE MORE TRANSPLANTED. THAT MEANS FIVE ARE OUTSIDE IN THE CAGE. TWO 10TH PLANET, 2 BLUEBERRY CHEESE AND A LITTLE PURPLE PUNCH. THE 3 GALLON POTS WERE RELATIVELY HEAVY SO I PICKED THE LIGHTER ONES TO TRANSPLANT. I LEFT THE ORHER TWO 10TH'S IN THE GARAGE WITH THE DOOR OPEN WITH THE REMAINING PLANTS. I ALSO ADDED WIND BREAKS AND SUPPORTS TO EVERYTHING. I WANTED TO GET EVERUTHING DONE TODAY BUT THERE MAY BE A THUNDER STORM SO IF I DONT GET IT DONE ITS NOT A BIG DEAL AND ILL FINISH TOMORROW. TRANSPLANTS WENT SMOOTH. I THINK THEY'LL GO EVEN SMOOTHER IF THEY DRY OUT A BIT. STILL HAVE THE 50 AND 40'S TO FILL. Took a bunch of videos but the don't want to load. I'll have to try tomorrow or later tonight. UPDATE: I TOOK TONS OF PICTURES AND VIDEOS BUT THEY DONT WANT TO SEEM TO UPLOAD. IVE GOT SIX IN THERE FINAL HOMES OUTDOORS 20s and 30 gallon smart pots. Still have massive plants but I'm going to out those in the 50 and the 40. I'll finish this shit up tomorrow and get all the girls in their forever homes and if I don't have room for some I was planning on doing a light dep anyway so that will work out good. I learned a lot and transplanting went a lot smoother todsy than before. I feel really proud of myself. The last Transplant I did break a few leaves off that I didn't notice but whatever. I used tomato cages for suppirt on two and bamboo poles and string on the others. I'll add the vertical trellis as they grow. I'm proud of myself. 6/10 I got a lot done yesterday. Six are outside already. Two are in 20s in the garage. I'm planning on transplanting the rest today or tomorrow. I'll update later. Accidently uploaded lots of stuff on the wrong week. This new grow space gets about twice as much sun as my old spot. The tar stops the burrowing insects. I'm getting everything out today. I just need to decide if I'm going to light dep that MASSIVE blueberry cheese or bite the bullet and put it in the fifty. Maybe I'll try to get some help from my cousin. Plants withstood the thunderstorm like Champs. I'll update as the day goes on. I planned better this year so I SHOULDN'T have an unmanageable jungle. FINALLY DECIDED TO GET The MONSTER BLUE CHEESE I FIMed INTO ITS FOREVER HOME A 50 FALLON POT. IT WAS TGE EASIEST BEST TRANSPLANT OF THEM ALL. JUST LIKE AETTING A POT IN THE WHOLE. I DONT EVEN THINK THE PLANT NOTICED. ONE OF THE PURPLE PUNCHES HAD ROOTS OB ONE OF ITS LEAVES WHEN I LOOKED BUTVIT WAS STILL STANDING UO STEAIGHT. I KNOW SOME OF THE PLANTS LOOK DROOPY BUT WEVE HAD SEVERAL DAYS OF RAIN AND A MASDIVE THUNDER STORM. I BROUGHT OUT THE EARLIER TRANSPLANTS AS WELL. THEY ARE OUT OF THE SHOCK. WIND IS PRETTY HIGH BUT I DONT WANT TO ADD MORE TARPS. I THINK THINGS ARE SECURED GOOD ENOUGH FOR NOW. IM SUPER STOKED THAT TRANSPLANT WENT SO GOOD! Went back at 7:30pm. Some plants have a little bit of transplant shock and a little bit of burn but it's negligible considering they've been through a thunderstorm with pouring rain and extremely high winds. That blueberry cheese in the 50 transplanted so easy and still looks like it didn't even know the difference. I'll start light dep once I get a plan. Plants are recovering nicely but should something happen to one I could replace it. I'm interested in the light dep though and I've got a pretty good idea how to start. 6/12 The plants that had a little transplant shock are coming out of it. We had a thunderstorm and pouring rain the day of some of the transplants. Wasn't forecasted. High winds moved the plants around a bunch bit they are tough as hell. Everything is out now. Suppisedcto have showers the next few days. I'm putting together a feeding schedule abd setting up a spit to start light dep on the three plants I decided to flower early. The cage now gets twice as much sun as before. This is going to be a good year. Went back over and plants are perking up and doing even better everytime I see them. I took a video but it might not upload until tomorrow. I may start a new diary for the light dep. I have a few places I'm thinking to use for light dep. I need to make a solid plan before I start so maybe a day or two. Trying to upload again but I doubt it. 6/13 Had a rushed morning but I watered the plants in the 3 gallons as they were dry. I had added more soil to a couple of the bags. The top soil is startingvtj dry out but the plants look good and we are supposed to get rain so I don't really want to water if it's going to be raining. I think I've found my light dep spot and schedule. I'll update after I do something. WENT BACK OVER AND SPRAYED A LITTLE BIT OF WATER ON THE EXTREMELY DRY TOPSOIL THAT I HAD TOPPED SOME OF THE PLANTS OFF WITH. SHITTY THING IS THAT WAS ADDED AFTER THE THUNDER STORM SO IT MAKES IT HARDER TO JUSTE THE PLANTS WATERING NEEDS. I CAN TELL THAT ONE OFCTHE FIRST TEANSPLANTS IS STILL HOLDING WATER. I MEAN WE GOT A DOWNPOUR AND I DONT WABT TO WATER IF WE'RE GOING TO BE GETTING RAIN ANYWAY. IM GOING TO LOOK BACK OVER THE DIARY. THATS ONE GREAT THING ABOUT THESE. YOU CAN GO BACK AND CHECK YOUR WORK. 6/14 Glad I held off watering. It's raining today. Just showers. We haven't gotten any of that extreme wind we usually do. I have the plants supported but I still worry. Definitely more than I should. Plants are still doing good and acclimating to there homes. I have not started the light dep with the 3 gallons but I think I've found my spot. Once I start it will just be staying consistent putt8ng them in and out. I need to train them anyway. I have some research to do and a joint to smoke so I'll update later.
