Day 30 - Into week 5 and calling this the first official week of flower. She’s definitely started to explode a bit with growth so I continued the LST a bit and gonna let her go a bit for now. I did tie down the main stem again to try and get the canopy as even as possible. She’s already starting to show her red/purple colors and look forward to see it as she gets further along. Day 31 - She’s already turned back up to the light after tying her down again last night. She’s really starting to show her colors now and she’s getting close to her first feeding of bloom nutes. Thought she’d be ready today but still needs another day or two before she’s ready. Day 32 - All is still good, she’s finally starting to stretch a bit and get a bit bigger. It will probably be another few days before she gets her first feeding, the soil is still pretty wet. The damn colors on this thing are already amazing and she’s just starting to flower. Day 33 - Nothing major to update today, all looks good and she’s almost ready for some water and nutes but not quite yet. Day 34 - Her pot is pretty much dry so giving her one more day and will give her the first feeding of nutes tomorrow. Other than that, I’m just watching the colors shine. Day 35 - The end of another week for this girl as well and she’s looking great. Very spaced out so all sides of her are getting good light. She finally got her first feeding of bloom nutes today so we’ll see how she’s doing tomorrow.

This lady has been harvested today! I’ve been checking her trichomes all week as buds were looking plump and very dense. Up till 2 days ago there were no ambers at all, just all milky with a few clear/half clear. Almost overnight there are quite a few ambers, mostly on the main coal but there are a few on the other bud sites too. The last time I harvested this strain it gave no high, however, i harvested it with less amber than this lady has. Smells strong and it’s a fruity, gassy scent. Buds decent size/big and frosty! Decided to harvest in branches rather than the whole plant due to the density, I’d rather avoid mold as much as I can. Wet weight 247g for 1 plant. Can’t wait to see how this lady turns out after dry and cure! Will update in a few weeks

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. And hello to you who read my diary, I just want to say that I am pleased that you have chosen to check in with me and in my diary. I do this for myself and for a steady flow of my medicine. Everything you read and see in my diary is 100% honest and I will never distort or beautify anything here. I document my crops so that I can learn from my mistakes and also to look back at those different crops. I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden. This is my strainhunt for the best medicine and the beginning of my journey with cannabis and the cultivation of it. This is my second feminised cultivation ever. First, I'm just going to say something about my grow room. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps for bloom. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This new strain combines two well-received parents, Juanita la Lagrimosa (Spanish for "Juanita the Tearful") and Royal Highness, which are themselves genetic hybrids of other precursor strains: Juanita the Tearful from Queen Mother and a Mexican-Afghan blend; Royal Highness from Dance Hall and Respect 13. On and on the strains date back in agricultural time, each new variety with its own unique smell, taste, color, high and medical benefit. However, in the past decade, a goal of all this tinkering has been what some producers are starting to call “Royal Respect” with the soul of marijuana's benefits going toward both body and mind. Painkiller XL is notable for its near-equal representation of 6 percent tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and 7 percent cannabidiol (CBD), achieved by a seed that's 70 percent sativa and 30 percent indica. Day 29 : Entering the flowering stage, 2/3 plants have a clear N & calmag deficiency so have upped the dose. Also increased the height of the light, plants at 18 - 20” still stretching nicely around 1” daily. My PH run of was a little low at 6.1 so next few feeds will feed at 7.0ph to raise this a little.

So, I was going away for a week. Given that I'd been babying these on the daily, I had some trepidations about leaving them for a week through at least two if not three, watering cycles. I engaged the help of a trusted friend to stop by and make sure they were watered and cared for. As I'd been running the tent pretty hot, I wanted to increase the margin of error so I dropped the power down to 75% and raised the light about 6". Once I came back, the plants were very healthy for the most part. I did begin to get PM on one of the plants as you can see in the photo. So began treating that (defoliation, cleaning, spraying w water, obsessively searching for new spots). I was very pleased with the way they were crystalizing. The one plant with the super fat colas wasn't as resinated as the others at this point yet she was THICC and dense.

While some seeds may take their time or not make the cut, this resilient little seedling is already setting the tone. With close to 100% relative humidity (RH) under the dome, she’s got the ideal environment to kickstart her roots and early growth. Environment: Humidity Dome Life • RH: Close to 100%, creating that tropical atmosphere where seedlings thrive. Humidity at this level helps keep her cells hydrated, and with a dome, moisture is consistently recirculated. This prevents her from drying out and promotes steady root and leaf development. • Lighting: For now, we’re keeping the intensity low. At this young stage, seedlings benefit from indirect, gentle light, just enough to encourage photosynthesis without causing stress. Future of Grow LED on a dim setting (200 PPFD) does the job, providing the perfect balance for early growth. Water & Nutrition: Keeping It Simple No heavy nutrients this week; she’s working off the stored energy in her seed. The aim is to keep the soil or Root Riot cube slightly moist but not soaked. Overwatering can drown young roots, so light misting is all she needs to stay comfortable and growing strong. This week have been all about making sure the bud sights get enough light and enough water. They drink rapidly now compared to the first 10 week of its stage. Very happy with the result i didnt expect to do so well with that many bud. So i am happy with this still and still as excited as i were in the start of the grow. I learned to be more patients with plants. I am planning on harvesting in week 17-18. This will be bombass weed i can see and smell it. Smells like a candy shop every time i open the tent :D

The Sour Diesel uses a lot of nutrients, grows fast and responses well to LST and Topping. I have 3 Jelly Donutz from Humboldt Seed company in the back that i just planted 2 days ago. Hopefully , all 3 sprout. I have promised my friends SD1 and Gelato. So, their weekly progress will not be included in the next posts
