i harvested the top part of my grapefruit plant as i checked the trychones and they were 20% amber the lower half had mostly cloudy but no amber ro im going to give it a last feed then flush in about 5 days for 7 days should bd ok then .. Ive raised thr grapefruit off the ground to stop fluids mixing between them as one gonna have a few more feeds where the other is on flush My other plant the bushy banana blaze is foing ok had a good 2-3 weeks i rekkon till i even think about harvest

So harvest time finally. Only 2 plants at the end but still I am happy with the result. After cutting them I placed them for 4 days inside the dark tent. I struggle a bit with the humidity as the air was really dry. So now its time for curring. I have placed the bud inside jars. Lets wait for a few weeks to have a first try ! Finally she has shown some signs of flowering. I thought that she would stay short, because i accidentally broke her in half. But she survived and grew much bigger than i even thought she would. The main cola, that i broke is the biggest of them all 😁 Other than that everything looks nice. No signs of any kind of dis balance ✌️

Hi All, We are approaching harvest and will only use PHed water this week. Trichomes are mostly opaque and maybe 3-5% amber. This is my first time growing this strain so I don't know how she will finish. So I think I am going to chop part of it and leave the rest to ripen for another week. So stay tuned... ***Mid-week update*** Week 7 day 5 Made a cut and dried it for a day. Placed it under the microscope and took some photos and video. I think she has at least another week to go. I will only use Phed water this week. Maybe a molasses flush on week 7 day 7. Since this is my first time growing this strain and this is from seed so I might do a first cut and let it really mature for another week or two just to see if the bud will keep swelling up. Hola y gracias por pasarte a ver mi diario. Ya he cultivado esta variedad anteriormente y siempre me ha gustado su sabor especiado. La planta creció sin ningún problema pero con carencia de nitrógeno desde mitad de la fase de crecimiento. Al ser un cultivo 100% orgánico y únicamente con riegos de agua del grifo sin añadir abonos líquidos era esperable, creo que con unos ajustes en la mezcla del sustrato hubiese obtenido mejores resultados aunque el hecho de añadir todos los nutrientes al sustrato me ha permitido facilitar la tarea del riego y no tener que realizar el lavado de raíces. La planta se desarrolló en una maceta de 50L y ha producido 230g de cogollos secos, esponjosos y con una relación flores/hojas no muy buena. El olor de las flores húmedas era intenso con toques especiados. Respecto a plagas y enfermedades ha sido muy resistente, no he apreciado signos de araña roja, pulgón ni trips gracias al aporte de harina de Neem en el sustrato. Tampoco he sufrido el temido y habitual ataque de las orugas (ni la oruga de las hojas ni la del cogollo) gracias a las pulverizaciones en las fechas clave con Bacillus Thuringiensis. Tampoco se ha visto afectada por el Oídio que normalmente aparece al final de la floración en la zona donde vivo, ni botrytis El clima también me ha acompañado este año, vivo en una zona cálida donde la temperatura suele ser óptima para el cultivo de exterior de cannabis, el mes de mayo llovió algún día de forma agradable, junio, julio y agosto fueron especialmente secos, solo llovió un par de noches a finales de agosto, y septiembre también ha sido muy respetuoso lloviendo solo 2 veces. Por todo esto, siendo la primera vez que elaboro un supersoil, estoy seguro que para la temporada 2022 repetiré el sistema, haciendo algunos ajustes a la mezcla para evitar estas carencias que he comentado. For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already.
