The pistils on all plants are getting more and more brown, its time to check the trichomes now. I check with a handheld microscope and they are getting milky, but not yet amber, which means they are ALMOST READY TO HARVEST, but not yet. The amount of crystals produced under the Q6W-Gen.2 LED-lamps from SANlight is astounding, the plants are coated in trichomes! This week I stopped giving any nutrients in order to FLUSH the plants, this is VERY IMPORTANT in order to get a smooth smoke of the dried end-product. The aroma of the plants is VERY STRONG NOW, they smell mouth-watering. The Shiva Skunk has a sweet, musky smell with a fresh citrus note to it, its a delight to smell those plants. The Serious Kush smells EXTREMELY fuely and gassy, like the OG-Kush, but with an amount of buds like the White Russian, its FLABBERGASTING. I cant wait to try those two strains...😎

DAY 70 Watered with molasses 💧 I had to adjust some of the stems, I used one bamboo stick and glued sticky tape to it. Ultima semana de fertilización, a partir de hoy solo riegos con enzimas o con flush, creo que voy a dejarla unas dos semanas con este régimen. Me sorprendió esta auto, de gran aroma, se desarrollo muy bien y muy rápido, lastima que no sepa que variedad es.

Wow! These plants have bulked up like crazy this week. The cola on #2 is about 7" tall and 3" wide at it's center mass. The smell is crazy, overpowering almost, oranges and burnt motor oil. The trichomes are mostly cloudy right now, very little clear heads. The amber is just starting to show, almost like a blush. Waiting a couple more days for some more amber then harvesting!

*If anyone read through my GDP diary, this is going to be mostly the same stuff. So, sad day friends. I got spider mites and had to throw all my plants out. This is what I think happened: About 2-3 weeks ago I noticed some freckling on the lower leaves. I looked at it and thought it might be a cal/mag issue so I added cal/mag that week and went about my business. I saw it about a week later and it wasn't getting any better so I added more cal/mag. This continued for about 2-3 weeks until I finally took off a leaf and examined it under my microscope. I saw little bugs crawling everywhere and my stomach just dropped. My fiance did some quick research while I was panic ripping leaves off (see pictures) and she correctly diagnosed it as spider mites. I debated with myself and my close friend and ultimately I decided to throw all the plants in my tent away. I know that there are a lot of people who will say that there are things I could have done to make it to harvest but what it came down to is the people I take care of and personal pride. I consider myself a caregiver and I give away product for free that I am not going to use to my family and close friends. I thought to myself "Would you smoke this?" and when my answer was "ehhh, I don't know", I thought about how it would feel giving it away and immediately made the decision to destroy them. I take an immense amount of pride in my product and this hobby and if I am not going to stand behind it I would rather just start over. I grow from my heart (shout out to the Grow From Your Heart Podcast!) to help people and make sure my family is not getting unsafe product from sketchy people. To spray pesticides in flower that may hurt people and have little bug carcasses in there just goes against that in every way and is just wrong in my opinion if you are giving it away to others. If you are the only one smoking it then it is one thing to take that risk but not with your patients. I want my medicine to help people, not create or exacerbate health issues. It is also important to note that the mites had moved from my flower tent into my veg space and took over my auto berry as well. Damn things are crafty and fast. So that is why I made the decision to destroy them all after 3+ months of res changes, pruning, and manifolding on a slow vegging strain. Feel free to chime in with your opinion but I do not regret my decision. I threw out my new clones, mother plant, and auto berry I had on my veg side as well. Shout out to all the other growers out there that do the right thing by their patients. Caregivers > Cash croppers. For anyone curious, I removed everything from my tent and scrubbed it all with a 20% bleach/water solution. All equipment has been wiped down and stored in the garage away from any organic materials. I will give them until tomorrow (2 days) to air out and dry and then I will wipe it down again with bleach and wait another 2 days. Hopefully that will make sure everything is dead and will not come back next grow. That next grow should start in about a week. It sucks but sometimes it happens and you gotta be ready for it. Lesson learned. Never bring outdoor plants into your indoor garden even if it is after just a day or two. A bunch of people on here and Reddit warned me and I did not listen. Now I have learned the hard way and it feels like when your parents "told you so" haha. Thanks to everyone who stopped by along the way. Stay tuned for a new grow coming soon. It’s day 33’from seed. All of the plants are really healthy. The plants have a really great root system at this point… I am currently slowly moving the light intensity up to the veg area. Now that are in a groove they are about to explode… I’m hoping I can flip the plants to flower in 1 weeks but I’m thinking I will wait to weeks and let them get a little larger. The plants are just now starting to look visually different next weeks update I will be ababoe to go into the visual differences, they are just not that extreme yet to really talk to much about.

These girls need to be transitioned to my out building in the grow tent but I'm having trouble getting humidity up I haven't warming with a small space heater but I can't get my humidity up so not putting them out there until I fix that hoping I still have a couple weeks Now in tent out in barn..Spider farmer SE7000 is in place..I set power down to 25% for my seedlings and I have about 18 inches from panel. Anyone who has this exact light please chime in...

D57 - We're heading into the fourth week of flower, and the girls are loving life. Both look healthy, vibrant, and strong, and they have started to smell. I did some defoliation to clean up the bottom of the plants by removing leaves that didn't receive any light. I also removed a few branches with tiny buds on them. I honestly should have removed them long ago as they don't get any proper light, so they will only drain resources and result in larf with airy buds. It is better late than never to remove them, as we still have a few weeks of flower to go, and I want the plants to focus on the main buds sites. Finally, I gave each girl 1.25-liters of compost tea @ pH 6.5. D59 - Installed a new USB oscillating fan since my old one gave up. These cheap fans aren't made to run continuously so they break down after a while. Still works well enough in my small tents. I also raised the light as the girls were getting bit close and I was reading almost 1100 PPFD at the top of the canopy. Way too much for an auto! D61 - There isn't much to do now when all training is done, and the watering is automatic. The girls are looking great though so I'm not complaining :D D63 - The end of another week and the girls are killing it! I'm really happy with how they are coming along, and everything is smooth sailing at this point. I gave each girl 1.25-liters of compost tea (worm castings, neem meal, rock dust, biochar, algae lime, bentonite, molasses) @ pH 6.6.
