🌱 Skywalker OG — Week 5 From Seed (12/12 Run) Hello everyone, welcome to another update, and a big thank you to everyone following along, newcomers, longtime readers, sponsors, platform, and of course the breeders and creators behind these genetics. It truly means a lot to share this journey together. For those just joining: this is a 12/12 from seed run, approached gently and observationally. No rush, no aggression, just letting the plants express themselves while we listen closely. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Room Conditions • Temperature: 21°C • Relative Humidity: ~58% • Outside conditions: 4–5°C with 90–98% RH Given what’s happening outside, I’m actually very happy with how stable the room is staying. The plants seem to agree, posture, color, and overall vigor are excellent. • CO₂: ~666 ppm For now, this is perfectly fine. No need to push or supplement — steady and natural. ⸻ 💡 Lighting Strategy (Top + Under Canopy) At the start of the week: • Only top lights are running • Power: 100% • PPFD: ~700–850 (depending on plant size) As the plants stretch and rise above the under-canopy fixtures, we’re now introducing under-canopy lighting: • Lumiflora under-canopy lights • Starting at 30% power This is very intentional. The goal isn’t to blast the plants, but to teach them that light and photons will be arriving from more than one direction. We want a gentle adaptation — letting the plant reorganize how it uses light rather than forcing it. Power will be increased later, but right now it’s all about adjustment, not intensity. ⸻ 🌿 Training Approach (or lack of it) Because this is a 12/12 from seed run, we are being extremely conservative. • No topping • No hard training • No defoliation The only work being done: • Leaf tucking • Gentle leaf bending And the response has been incredible. These girls are reacting with: • Tight internodes • Bushy structure • Calm, confident growth Sometimes, truly, less touch = better performance. ⸻ 🌱 The Triple-Branching Lady (Main Focus of the Week) This week’s highlight is one very special plant showing clear triple branching. At each node, instead of the usual two shoots, she’s producing three distinct branches, stacking from the bottom all the way up. The structure almost looks like she’s tucking herself naturally, creating a dense but elegant framework. This is not something we forced. It’s purely genetic expression meeting the right conditions. She looks happy. She looks calm. And she looks like she’s planning something special. We’ll be doing a dedicated report on her by the end of the week, because this kind of morphology deserves proper documentation. ⸻ 💧 Watering & Nutrition Strategy Water Source We’re using a mix of: • Rainwater • Dehumidifier-collected water This water is extremely soft, so this week we introduced something new: ➕ CalMag Pro Not because the plants were asking — but thinking ahead. Before adding nutrition, we want a proper mineral foundation. This helps stabilize uptake and prevents issues before they even show up. Aside from that: • No changes to the main recipe • Everything remains steady and predictable ⸻

So the grow cycle was pretty easy. I work away from home and I sometimes have to leave for 4 days in a row. Before I'd leave for the four days I'd just add 4-6 cups of RO water with some Cal-Mag. When I can back she was always bigger and didn't have any problems. I was lazy this time and never checked the PH of the water. This strain is pretty resilient so props to sweet seeds. I decided not to LST this plant, it was a little taller than I wanted but grew in a nice shape. I still cant believe how purple this strain is. I started to get foxtailing on the top bud not sure what would cause that. Once again sorry for the lack of pictures. I'll let you know the smoke report later.

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our Orange Sherbert from Barney's Farm! She is looking really good this week. She did start to show some deficiencies after flushing Friday 8/28. Otherwise she looks super healthy with leaves "praying" to the canna-gods! Now, on with the deets! LIGHTING: Increased lighting at dimmer last week with good results. Was about 70k LUX on average @ Canopy. Turning it up a bit more this week. 8 Outer Boards @ 665.5w 6 Inner Boards @ 601w LUX APP MAXES OUT READING 78750 LUX @ Canopy. Lets hope its not too much! RHIZOSPHERE: If you didn't tune into the last update, I had just flushed pots due to high PPM runoff. pH of runoff was at 6.3. PPM and pH are tested using 2 separate calibrated BlueLab meters. Hello growers, as I mentioned last week, La Bomba was left alone in the coop and she’s doing amazing. I’m just watering now and waiting for the right moment to harvest. The aroma is incredible, somewhere between a sweet profile and that loud gassy fuel, a truly unique combination. I gently spread her branches with a few strings so the light can reach the lower buds. The buds are hard and the whole plant looks beautiful. Peace and happy growing ✌️

Hey everyone :-). Today is the flowering day 56 since the time change to 12/12 h. Both phenotypes continue to develop great 😍. The flowers are getting thicker and thicker and are slowly but surely coming to an end 😄. They smell extremely tasty 😍. On the leaves you can clearly see that it is slowly consuming its last nutrients :-). Next week the trichomes will be checked and then a decision will be made when and how they are rinsed :-). It was poured 3 times this week per pot with 1.2 l. The tent was cleaned and the humidifier refilled :-). Otherwise there is nothing to report this week and I wish you a lot of fun with the update 🙏🏻. The Titan is growing as I had hoped. The many side branches are growing larger and in the center is a nice main cola. Beside the LST clips a few weeks ago, no more training is needed it seems. I did some defoilation to optimize the airflow and to give the developing buds in the side branches more light. More pics and updates coming later this week. The Titan is developing a really nice flowery/citrus like smell. I added some Bio Tabs Bio PK 5-8 to the mix to support the many buds she is forming.

This past week has been a blast! After getting these ladies nutrition straightened out, they are thriving!💚🌱💚 I gave defoliated wayyy more than what I see other growers traditionally doing. After the "3rd and final haircut" I defoliated two more times 😅 Thank you the GD community for the support and resources along the way 🙏 My only concern now is the tent actually becoming too crowded.😆. Oxygenated compost tea this week!

Days 78-84 - Been lax in updates, but I still log every week to completion. Back injury in addition to The Nineteen, Rona Style, has been a bit of a pain in the posterior. (That means ass) Plants are gigantic and sassy. Had Dangergirl come out and defoliate/lollipop the bottoms out of the girls, saving me painful labor and increasing my yields, so yay for her! Plants are happy, pompoms are getting thick, and everything looks good. Switched FF01 to flower on day 84.

Flowering week 5. I diluted slightly ec down with ro water.

The buds are getting thicker. But, so far, they do not impress me. Maybe it's genetics, I have a lot of experience with autoflowers, this is my first experience with photoperiod plants.

The humidity is loco…the heavy rain continues. My stem is drying out…I’m not sure what is causing it All insights are welcome.

I got a new light for these ladies cause it was clear my other lights weren’t doing justice. I went with an affordable option which was a Lumii black 600w HPS light. It made the temp reach 44 degrees luckily I checked on my plant about an hour later and they were looking really sad but they were okay once I moved my tent closer to the window. My temps went down to 33 degrees Celsius which is still to hot PLEASE tell me how I can get This down guys 😭😭😭😭!!! Anyway they were okay before that growing beautifully and very healthy before I got the new light. I can definitely see the different in intensities
